Interview with Antoni Malinowski

Today artist Antoni Malinowski invited us to his home and studio. Here, artworks not only adorn the walls, but also constitute the walls, transforming his beautiful Victorian terrace into a testament to his art.

Antoni’s relationship with Camden is a fascinating one and he speaks with a great deal of respect, admiration and eloquence for the Centre and its impact on his artistic practice.

Absorbed by light, movement and the shifting relationship between object and space, his 1997 Camden exhibition Synchrony, gave him exposure to a wider audience of architects. Architects, he says, “got it”. He attributes this exhibition as an important juncture for establishing new collaborations in London and abroad.
