Spencer held out his hand in front of Merril and smiled delicately at her, "Would you like to dance?"

Merril looked at him with a strange expression, "Spenc, it's raining.."

"All the more reason to dance."

He didn't withdraw his hand and she eventually took it, laughing quietly to herself as he led her out to the garden, taking her hips and smiling happily at her.

"I love you Merril, I don't care what anyone says. It's just you and I against the world."

Merril couldn't help the bright smile that lit up her face, her eyes twinkling as Spencer span her around, holding her firmly.

They laughed and danced, not caring about how they were soaked through to their skin.
