As the boy slowly sits, Cleo easily adapted herself to the new position, very comfortable on his lap, and now resting her cheek against his shoulder. Her fingers grasp the book, curiously reading a bit of it and finding it very, very funny.
“It was that lonely!” She nods, head raising to now look at him. The book was now rested on her lap and her hands were looking for a safety spot to rest without breaking the comfortable hug. She simply hugged him back. “Isn’t it mean? Leaving a girl waiting outside all day long, without caring? How mean! I don’t even get how Eliana deals with you, tch!” Cleo rolls her eyes, incredulous the other said such a thing. Specially because he had a girlfriend.
She pouts when he asks her if she missed him. She had said it once and wouldn’t say it again, so she looked down, at her best acting of hurted feelings. And when she looks up again, her eyes were filled with curiosity and worry. “Ommo, are you ok?” She cups his cheeks, then checks if he has a fever. “You look horrible right now. Are you feeling unwell?”
A little sigh scaped her lips. Eric was sure clueless. How did he even manage to have a girlfriend? “What kind of question is it, huh?” Her expression was a perfect mix of annoyance and a cute pout. “Attention is attention! What is it? Aren’t we friends? Don’t you like me?” She sighs again, genuinely hurt. “Is it because I’m a Slytherin? I’ve heard it before. Thought it was just a mean gossip.”
With a quick move she kindly returns the book to him and easily stands up. “I’ll leave, then.” She fixes her sweater, then her hair, and finally looks at him. “You can read your book.” She nods, giving two steps before stopping on her spot and turning again at him with a puzzled expression. “Just a question: What is a scooter?” She frowns, looking down from the book and back to him. She read the word there and it intrigued her.
❝ Ah... ❞ He bites the bottom of his lip, suddenly gets thrown off his guard when the other flat out said his crush’s name, ❝ W-Wait.. E-Eliana.. W-What does this have to do with Eliana...? ❞ Eric felt his face warm up at her name, but what did Eliana have to do with this conversation? It wasn’t like Eliana told the younger that they were together... Or it didn’t seem like Eliana would tell anyone about it. She had.. her own person that they liked and that was not him.
Eric looked at the younger when she cups his cheeks with her hands. She smelled like roses, something that Eric enjoyed smelling. A small smile appears and he nods his head slowly, ❝ Y-Yes.. I’m fine.. I-Is there something wrong? ❞ Was it that obvious that he wasn’t feeling well, not like he was actually not feeling well in the first place, but the more she did all these cute gesture made his heart melt a little.
Feeling flustered again once the other started to blurt out questions about if they were friends, if he liked him somewhat overwhelmed him. ❝ A-Ah.. N-No it isn’t that... ❞ With one swift move, she places the book onto his chest and stands up, about to leave. He looks at her with wide eyes, not knowing what to do at this point again. He felt completely useless for what seem to have hurt the other. Eric looks down onto the floor, biting the bottom of his lip once again then looks up when she asked him a question, ❝ Oh... I-It’s just something... you ride on, like a bike, but instead of sitting you stand on them... ❞ Was she going to stay if he gave him a vague answer, or was she going to leave because of what he had said to her. He continued to stare at her with wide eyes, hoping that she’ll at least stay longer instead of leaving.
