The non-existent relationship between Kurt Hummel and Noah Puckerman has always been fascinating to me - and not because of any romanticized bully-victim trope, but because of the profound fragility underlying both characters, despite their contrasting appearances.

Puck grew up without a father figure and without any model for treating people with care or kindness; Kurt, not only dealing with his own discovery journey, but also growing up in a fractured relationship with his own father, weighed down by doubt and a crushing lack of confidence. From that shared wound of daddy issues springs the striking inversion: Puck’s total absence of gentleness and Kurt’s total absence of roughness, and both yearning for the same hunger for societal acceptance. tbh I don’t think It’s no coincidence that their most pivotal storylines almost always collide in the same episodes - two fractured boys unconsciously echoing the same ache.

Idk, I’ve always thought how cool it would’ve been to see them together and developing a bond,,,
