Ten of the fourteen artworks of the “Black paintings” series of Francisco Goya, painted between 1819 and 1823. The paintings were originally painted as murals on the walls of Quinta del Sordo (Deaf Man’s Villa), a two-story house outside Madrid where Goya moved at the age of 72.
