We have a huge problem people!! There are fraudulent comments posted on the FCC’s website using real people’s names!
Right now The New York State Attorney General is launching a huge investiation into the comments made regarding net neutrality on the FCC website. Over one million people were affected and I was one of them. I recently reblogged a post made by one of my followers empressreborn and you can find last night’s post here. I looked up my own name and found that a comment was made with my name and current address. I highly recommend that everyone look up their name at this website: https://ag.ny.gov/fakecomments
Just enter your name and look through the results and see if any match you. The forms will look like this:
I never wrote any comment like this. I am for keeping net neutrality and the fact that someone used my name and address to post a comment like this makes me sick. If you find a comment that you did not make, you must file a report here: https://ag.ny.gov/fakecomments-form
We need as many people who have been affected to report this fraudulent activity as possible. If we have enough people come forward, this could kill the vote to end net neutrality.
Everyone, go to the website and check to make sure you have not been affected and if you have, file a claim!
