Trying to do hypnosis on my angel boyfriend and he just doesn't get it. Angels already do anything you tell them to do, why would you put them in a trance to make them more suggestible? How could they be more so?

Angels don't have genders as such, but can have genders assigned. Humans who work with them often assign them genders based on vibes, and they go with that. You actually can't ask them their gender if a human hadn't assigned it? They don't have one yet. Ask a angel their gender and they'll tell you they don't have one, would you like to give them one?

Angels don't have pride but the closest they can get to it is to have a name* and gender from a human. It's like they're closer to free will, look at them all walking around with a name and a gender like they're a real person.

* angels don't have names either until a human gives them one. That's explicitly one of humanity's rolea in the cosmology of heaven: we name things.

They don't have sex either. I mean, like in the biological sense. They've got no bits.

They can have genitals, whatever they're told to have. They aren't shapeshifters exactly but what they are works something like it (if you're curious: they're made of spirit, not body. They only appear to have a body because it is needed to do a job: so if they're told to go talk to a guy, they look human. If they're told to destroy a city, they'll look like a cloud of divine fire.)

As for halos, the fun thing is that they never had them until humans invented halos.

Humans expect halos so if an Angel is appearing like an Angel, they'll have a halo.

Like if you tell an angel "go talk to this guy, tell him you're an angel and you've got a mission from God for him" they'll look like an angel to that guy. Does that guy expect wings and a halo? Then they'll have that, to best convince him they're an angel.

Does it mean that angels are inherently winged and haloed? Nope. Angels have no inherent physical form. They appear like what would let them do their job, whatever that is.

They show this friendship by standing unmoving next to each other and never talking, content to wait forever (possibly literally) for a command.
