"Cheetos? What are Cheetos?" "They're just....Cheetos! They're awesome you have to try them!" When you're trying to explain to a foreign exchange student what Cheetos are simply by repeating their name and saying their great.....only to realize he's already tried Cheetos and doesn't like them

I wanna give a quick shout out to GMU's student government for planning last weeks DeStress Fest! You guys did a great job and helped out a lot of burned out people!

If anyone's looking for a place to vent, relax, and just take a moment to chill while studying for finals then check out the Temple of Transformation in Mason Pond. It's set up by a group of very talented artists that have done similar projects in the past. There are sharpies there for anyone to anonymously (or not) write down their fears, insecurities, thoughts, or anything that weighs heavy on the heart. Soon it's going to be burned down as a symbol of empowerment and rejuvenation and a marker for a fresh start in peoples' lives.

Taken from last Saturday’s Off the Wall art show and fundraiser in the Art and Design building

This is a performance piece done by a student.  As people walked into the elevator to ride from floor to floor they were accompanied by a barbed wire-bound presence.

Taken from last Saturday’s Off the Wall art show and fundraiser in the Art and Design building A few volunteer drawing and painting students set up in one of the drawing studios to do portraits of guests through the night.

To help bring awareness to the amount of people displaced from their homes worldwide a group of students set up a neighborhood of makeshift shelters.  

Their mission today was to show people what refugees that have been displaced due to political reasons, natural disasters, or whatever else have to face every day.

Congratulations to GMU’s new student body president and vice president, Ali Zaidi and Khushboo Bhatia!  I know you guys are gonna rock your term!

After days of being quarantined in a house with a couple of dogs, a cat, all my homework and a horrible stomach virus I think I'm finally ready to come back to campus! ..Just a friendly PSA, Mason: don't forget to wash your hands!

Today in North Plaza people were able to sign and pose with mirrors for Good Deeds Day.  People were able to write what they thought the key to happiness was and spread around #GMUgood

I’ve been watching this sign take a beating the past couple of days in North Plaza.  The first photo shows the sign on Monday when it was first put up.  Tuesday morning when I walked by the sign again it was taken down from its stand and thrown on the ground.  Later some students came by to prop it back up.  Today as I passed the sign again I saw the first panel was ripped off of its hinges and tossed on the ground again.

Its tough to say who made this; the art building and the engineering building are right next to it.
