Well my loves, it appears as though the answer to "Can the Big Pattern Company (Simplicity/Burda/McCalls/ect.) survive the death of JoAnn?" has come.

The answer is no. No it cannot. It has been sold to a liquidator just like JoAnns was.

So if there is ANYTHING you want I suggest you get it now. simplicity.com is currently having a pattern sale and I snatched up some that might be useful for cosplay purposes.

I am very glad these last couple of years I have built up my collection.

So I didn’t actually manage to FINISH 3H. Got far enough into Azure Moon (best route, fight me) to make sure that Dedue was alive and he and Dimitri got their final support and that Dimitri got the worst of the destructive impulses out of his system and then...

...well, then I no longer had a compelling reason to continue.

I mean, the characters are fine, I guess? I’d like them more in a story that was actually driven by them, but I suppose you could say the same about FEA and I loved that, though it being my first FE might’ve had something to do with it.

3H just didn’t do it for me, guys. Fates was better (in all of the ways that matter to me personally).

Really loved Dimitri, though! And Rhea. TBH one of the reasons I think I lost interest was I realized I’d have to play an entire additional route to gay marry the pope - and the gameplay’s just really not that interesting!

Might do a more in-depth post at some point. Oh, and I played 90% of Path of Radiance, which is also scads better than 3H (again, in the ways that matter to me personally). I have no idea why FE fandom was so much smaller than FF fandom for so many years when it’s got games like that, goddamn.

Remember that Hinoka support where she deftly manipulates Hinoka into doing something she's bad at so Camilla can position herself as superior?

How did we not think this Magnificent Bitch behavior was the funniest shit ever? It's amazing. Hinoka is playing checkers and Camilla is playing 5D chess around her in a competition that only exists in Camilla's head.
