As Fandom continues to drive away editors and readers with their numerous ads, the Koei Tecmo Wiki has decided to migrate away from the site and go independent. The move happened for some time, though it wouldn't have been possible without the intervention of certain fans who were rightfully concerned about the content being stuck in Fandom's grasp. The wiki was fortunately able to migrate before the company decided to tighten its forking policy in an attempt to discourage users from leaving.

Truth be told, the greatest obstacle to moving away from Fandom is competing with them over search engine optimization (SEO) which means the independent wiki will constantly struggle getting more attention in search engines like Google or Bing. Nonetheless, ardent fans are willing to risk that if it means they can gain independence and give readers a better experience using their wikis.

It's not just the Koei Tecmo Wiki that has moved away from Fandom. Other wiki communities like the Zelda Wiki, the Hollow Knight Wiki, the Shin Megami Tensei Wiki, and the Toontown Rewritten Wiki have all departed from the company in order to make a stand for both themselves and their respective fan base.

For those who are looking to get into Bluesky Social but don't want to spend cash to get an invite code, a Discord server is offering free codes to users through a shorter wait list system. The codes are handed out in limited quantities on a daily basis, prioritizing on members who actively post in the server's various channels.

Due to the dynamic ranking implemented there, active members will often have to compete for a top spot within the wait list, though spamming meaninglessly is highly discouraged by the moderators. The command /waitlist allows members to constantly check where they are in the wait list priority rank, giving them a sense of how much they need to engage with others.

It might seem too good to be true, but so far the Discord server is seeing a large number of people joining due to recent events surrounding Twitter. Also, there is no need to spend money unless you feel like giving the hard-working staff members a Ko-fi for their troubles. It's also a good way to become acquainted with like-minded artists, writers, gamers, and generalists who can follow you in Bluesky or vice versa.

This option is mainly viable for those who are patient enough and don't have the money to buy a code from sellers in eBay or Reddit. Right now, the most populated subreddit for Bluesky codes is run by a man named Felix Josemon who is charging $50 to $100 for potential clients to enter the platform. Sounds like a scam, wouldn't you agree?

In return for receiving a free invite code from the Discord server, members who've successfully entered Bluesky are encouraged to distribute their own codes to other users as a sign of goodwill. Various rewards and privileges are also handed out based on the amount of codes a user shares, so it's basically win-win for both parties. Furthermore, any member given a non-functioning code will be given another one until they gain actual entry to the platform.

I can attest to being able to enter the platform this way by constantly interacting with users until my activity level reached a sufficient amount. And yes, this approach probably won't appeal to introverts much since the goal is to get active members into the platform first. It sounds rather unfair, but it's the only way the staff members can ration out the limited number of codes they get daily.

I’ve been using Wombo Dream to generate new images again. This time, the theme I chose for today is “Monstrous Delights”. The style I chose for this set seems to like using streaks of purple to make the already-intriguing compositions more vivid.

These images were generated using the newly-added Baroque option in Wombo Dream. It seems like a good style to use for landscape or architectural paintings.

I used Wombo Dream to create this new set of images. The theme I chose is called “Natural Disasters” in which cities are besieged by Mother Nature in different ways.

I generated these images with the use of Wombo Dream, a creative app that allows users to instantly make digital paintings by typing different words together. For this set, I made 4 images of different birds that represent the different phases of life.

Today’s Wombo Dream set revolves around fruits bathed in water. As such, the overarching theme is called “Swimming Fruits”.

I made another series of Wombo Dream images again. This time, the theme I wanted to go for is “Bedroom Suite Dreams”.

My first attempt in depicting the four seasons using Wombo Dream. I would call this set the “Four Seasons Forest” theme. The app’s Psychic art style is truly something to behold.

The final episode of Shokugeki no Soma is about to air tomorrow in Japan. So far, I appreciate the changes they’ve done to the anime’s ending song.
