This is an amazing dish that my momma cooked for us once, and since Iâve been craving it intensely, I decided to whip one up myself. Its quick and simple, yet incredibly satisfying. When I made it I did not have diced canned tomatoes so I used canned whole tomatoes and crushed them by hand. Very nummy indeed
Chicken breast with pasta
I simply dredged the chicken in flour and then egg wash then breaded with breadcrumbs and parmesan and fried it. The orzo I combined with sautéed spinach and a crushed tomato sauce.
This dip looks simply devine. I can not wait to try it at my next get together.

A flourless chocolate cake flavored with earl grey tea, lavender, and flaky sea salt.
This appeals to me on three different levels.
I have always had a love for Earl Grey tea. Iâve always found the aroma comforting and soothing.
Recently I have become obsessed with baking with lavender.
I have always been enchanted by flourless chocolate cake.Â
Needless to say, this recipe quickly won a spot in my âmust tryâ bookmark folder.

Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is a great recipe I jotted down into a notebook a couple of winters ago to give away to loved ones as a holiday treat.I wish I could remember where I got the recipe so that I could give proper credit, however I did not notate that in the notebook with the recipe.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1/2 cup oil
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp almond extract
6 ounce bag of chocolate chips
1 cup of crushed peppermint candy
1 tsp of mint extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream butter, oil, and sugars.
Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
In a separate bowl combine: flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix well. Add to we ingredients.
Add chocolate chips, peppermint pieces, and extracts. Mix well
Bake at 350 degrees F for 7-8 minutes.
Basic Butter Cookies
This is a simple butter cookie recipe I learned years ago, I love this recipe and so does everyone else.
Ingredients:
8 ounces unsalted butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 large egg yolk
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla
Beat together butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
Mix in egg yolk until itâs incorporated completelyÂ
Add flour and mix well
Scrape onto lightly floured board and knead a few times.
Roll into a log and wrap into plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator and chill for a couple hours to overnight before cutting.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 16-18 minutes.
Autumnâs in the air! And where there is autumn, there are sure to be tons of tasty delights involving pumpkins. I will eat just about anything with pumpkin. These are a delightful way to start the day, and are incredibly easy to make.
I stumbled across this recipe while searching for appetizers for an event I was hosting. Itâs simple, its delicious, and you can make many variations of it if you are not a fan of horseradish.Â
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

I finally attempted the recipe I posted a bit ago. it didnât come out exactly the way I wanted to. Itâs much messier than I wanted too, but thatâs also because I used all he frosting hehehe
Canât wait to try it. It smells soo good.
This was the first lavender recipe I ever tried. They were simply delicious and quickly disappeared. I enjoyed them as a tea time treat.

And I said, "what about breakfast at Evesham?"
Saturday work days seem to run more smoothly when food is involved. Last week I made an awesome breakfast arrangement for work. I had bacon, various egg muffins, and pancakes made via my cake pop machine.
This week I decided to go with the mini pancake spheres again, only this time i did half plain and half blueberry. I also made a large crustless quiche using the ingredients of the most popular egg muffin from last week. I worked fast and simply and got to bed a lot earlier this week (meaning in my room and watching tv).Â
For the pancakes I used the same brand box mix as last week.Â
For the crustless quiche I used an unofficial recipe I often use many variations of. Hereâs what I did tonight.
Ingredients:
8 large eggs
1 tbsp almond milk
1 cup crumbled turkey sausage
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
salt  and pepper
Beat eggs and add milk (you can use any type of milk or some people prefer water).
In a pan saute any meats or vegetables you wish to add. (Tonight I just had the turkey sausage but normally I also have onions and peppers and spinach)
Add salt and pepper (and any other seasonings desired)
Pour mixture in pan (I prefer to use a round glass pan)
Cook at 350 degrees F for 40-50 minutes
Hopefully breakfast will be a hit again.
Good cooking to you!
All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesnât hurt.

Preparing for Brownie Friday
As usual, I find myself quite eager to bake at night. Thereâs nothing like falling asleep to the after scent of baking. Itâs like lighting a candle and being able to fall asleep without it accidentally killing you and then being able to eat it in the morning. Itâs a beautiful thing.
Tonight I am making a batch of brownies for work. Since Iâm feeling tired, tonight is going to be a box mix night.Â
Tonight I will be trying out Betty Crocker Supreme Brownie Mix Triple Chunk with Hersheyâs. After seeing that the mix wasnât going to procure as many brownies as I had hoped, I also decided to make a package of Pillsbury Melts Molten Fudge Cake filled cookies. Quick, easy, and now the entire house is filled with the aroma of chocolate.
Thereâs nothing like falling asleep to the scent of baking. Itâs like lighting a candle and being able to fall asleep without it accidentally killing you and being able to eat it in the morning. Itâs a beautiful thing.
Iâm still trying to decide on my weekend baking project. Iâm thinking of either having a battle of the peanut butter cookie recipes or creating some fabulous mustache shaped sugar cookies.
Only time (and my stomach) will tell.
Good cooking!

I had just baked a batch of Caramel Apply cupcakes when I realized that I accidentally had bought the Maple Brown Sugar frosting. It was still amazing. Anyway, I saw this recipe on the back of the box and knew immediately that I needed to make it.
I bought the ingredients tonight and plan on giving it an attempt tomorrow. I still haven't decided if I want to bake this, cookies, or donut holes.
