In case you couldn't tell but the terrible science joke I began with, I am a teacher of all sorts of science. Chemistry is my favourite, though I have a fondness for astronomy as well. When I'm not teaching I enjoy reading and watching documentaries. I spend so much time teaching that my free time is usually based around learning. I couldn't be more amused.

One of my students wrote their essay on the comparison of Stalin and Hitler as leaders in dictatorship roles, and based it off the thesis that if Stalin and Hitler had joined forces we'd have had lost half of the races due to genocide. It was a very wise essay, but I can't get over their title.

"Stop Stalin, and start Russian into my arms, Hitler." As in 'Stop stalling and start rushing into my arms.' I do love a good play on words.

The sound of her gasp sends shivers down his spine, trying desperately with each passing second not to beg her to realise that she would pass even if they stopped this game and fucked on the table, but he was still trying to be a gentleman despite having his mouth on her bare breasts. She attempts to name all the bones, and gets very close, but gives up right near the end. His own resolve had almost entirely disappeared once he saw how tightly she was gripping the table. "Thank fuck, I thought I was the only one dying here. You'll pass, you know that, right? God, you're the smartest person I've ever met, but right now I can't even remember the questions I'm asking you because all I want is to carry you to the bedroom instead of taking on a freakin' dining table. We'll save that for another day," he rambles, roughly palming her breasts as his mouth finds hers. He kisses her, showing her just how much he needs her through the desperate moans that leave his mouth. "Please, Sarah," he moans out, not positive of what he was asking for.

Her eyes widen slightly in surprise when he tells her the consequences. “I really, really don’t like that consequence”, she tells him. “I don’t know if you’ve realized yet but I happen to like kissing you and don’t really want it to stop”, she says. “But you should also know that I’m incredibly competitive and I’m now determined to win”, she adds, her breathing shallow as his fingers trace along the hem of her shorts. She smiles triumphantly when she lists off all of the bones just before Hunter reaches zero on his countdown, glad that she hasn’t failed so early in the game. She doesn’t even have a chance to ask what the reward is before his lips are pressed against hers, his teeth gently biting down on her bottom lip before moving down to her throat. “I like the rewards though. I’m just hoping you don’t help all your students study this way”, she teases. 

She forgets how to breathe as his hand moves to just below her breasts, his fingers moving beneath her bra with ease. All she can think is that his fingers could be put to much better use and he makes it a million times worse as he talks about wanting to take her bra off already. “Well, you’re shirtless so it would only be fair if I was shirtless too”, she says, giving him a reason to get rid of the flimsy piece of material if he so desires. “And the bone in the throat is the hyoid bone”, she adds quickly, not wanting to be punished for not locking in an answer before the time is up.

He's a little stunned that she seems so willing to be shirtless, but he decides not to question it. "You're right, that would be fair...Especially since you answered just in time." His hands reach around her back, undoing the clasp with ease as he bites her neck once, hard enough to leave a small mark, before leaning back and sliding her bra off. He kisses her breasts, tracing circles around each nipple with his tongue while his hands reach down the run up her thighs. "You have fifteen seconds to name each bone in legs and feet," he mumbles against her flesh.

“Focusing on anatomy probably would be a good idea”, she says quietly, wishing she had thought this through before asking Hunter over to help her out with her studying. She honestly didn’t realize just how much of a hard time she would have keeping her hands to herself and her mind on the work but she finds it almost impossible to think of anything but his body pressed against hers. She sighs softly when he gets off the table, sure that he’ll finally kiss her properly, but instead he just moves her so that she’s the one lying on the table. “I knew there was a reason why I came to you for help”, she admits, smiling as he uses his knowledge to help her out. “What do you mean, consequences?” she asks, wanting to make sure that she knows exactly what she’s getting into before they start. 

She swallows nervously as his lips brush along her arm, his fingers moving across her stomach. It takes her a while to process exactly what he says, too busy focusing on the way his fingers and lips feel moving across her skin. “Yes, exams do have a lot of distractions”, she agrees when she finally manages to understand what he says. She gasps slightly, her eyes closing as he talks about his hand or his mouth going down a lot lower. A somewhat familiar spike of arousal floods her body and her mind is filled with images of Hunter doing exactly what he said he wanted to do. “You don’t play fair”, she mumbles, her eyes still firmly shut. “The bones of the arm… the humerus, the radius and the… the u-ulna”, she lists, just managing to get in within the five second deadline.

"The consequences? I'm thinking that each time you don't answer within the limit, I'm going to go a day without kissing you, and frankly that's bad for me too, so you should be nice and try to make that brilliant brain of yours remember the human body fast." He trails his fingers along the hem of her shorts, tracing an imaginary line back and forth as she thinks, whispering a countdown and smiling as she gets them all just before the time is up. "See, that wasn't so hard, was it? In fact, I think it's only fair that you get rewarded each time you pass." He presses his lips against hers, nibbling gently on her bottom lip before allowing his lips to drift down to her throat.

"This is an easy one since there's only one to answer for. What's the bone in our throats?" His hands moved from above her shorts to just beneath her breasts, his fingers sliding just beneath the bottom of her bra as he waited for her answer. "Just for the record, this is just as distracting for me. I keep trying to remember my own knowledge of anatomy, but all I can think about is taking your bra off," he murmured, his own need to distract her causing him a great deal of pain. The desire to take her on the table was growing stronger by the second.

“Yes, you really are that distracting”, she complains. “It’s like you haven’t looked at yourself in a mirror recently. Your smile is so disarming that I could just melt and then you started taking off your clothes…” she trails off, aware that she sounds slightly insane and that he probably doesn’t appreciate being objectified so much. She clears her throat and tries to get back to the matter at hand, quickly labelling the bones of the arm before getting distracted again. “You could draw a timeline on me”, she suggests, wondering just why she thought this would be a good idea. She can barely focus on anything besides the fact that a very attractive man who she happens to have a pretty massive crush on is half naked on her dining room table. 

She laughs loudly when Hunter seems completely distracted and unable to comprehend even the simplest of phrases. Her tongue darts out to lick at her bottom lip, both her mouth and lips going suddenly dry as she looks at Hunter. “I… that sounds like it could work… except for the fact that I can’t focus at all”, she admits. She drops the permanent marker onto the table beside him, her hands coming up to rest on his arm. “I know what all the bones in your arm are called but all I can think about is how I’d much prefer it if your arm was wrapped around me”, she tells him, her voice low. “I should have just stuck to studying from the text book”.

"A timeline sounds like an excellent idea, but right I think we should focus on anatomy," he decides, trying with all of his might to bring them back to studying rather than ogling each other. It becomes more and more apparent that the tension between them wasn't going to suddenly disappear any time soon though, so rather than avoid it he thinks embracing it is the best idea. He stands up and wraps his arms around her like she'd said, but instead of nuzzling her like he wanted to, he lifted her up on to the table, lying her down. "You know, as a teacher we've learnt all about how much pressure students are under during exams. We're told to try and make trial exams full of a lot of pressure so that they learn to deal with it before the real things come along," he stated in his professional voice, though his face was full of the amusement and arousal that seemed to be present every second of their time together so far while he was here.

"If you can survive this without faltering, writing some words on paper will probably be a lot easier in comparison," he continued, picking up the marker she'd dropped, though quickly deciding he didn't need it. "I'm going to indicate certain sports, and you have to tell me what they are in less than five seconds, and there will be consequences each time you can't." 

He began by kissing along her arm, his fingers dancing across her lower stomach. "You said you could name all the bones in my arm, so I figure that's an easy place to start," he whispered, smiling against her skin. "In an exam you'll have a lot of distractions. There's the pen's clicking, your brain refusing to focus on the simple task at hand, and there's always that one person with a cold who can't seem to stop sniffling...But I'm sure none of that would compare to me saying that, if I'm being honest I'm struggling not to let my hands go a lot lower...Or my mouth. I'm sure you'd taste a lot sweeter than that wine." He knew he was being cruel, but he couldn't help himself. Said wine was definitely taking effect by now, and this was a brilliant excuse to touch her in the name of science. "Your five seconds starts now, Fitzgerald."

“God, I sound like a horny teenager”, she admits, rolling her eyes at the fact that Hunter brings out a side of her that she can’t ever really remember having before. Nerves and embarrasment flood through her body again when she realizes that Hunter has noticed the way that her eyes trailed over his body. She feels slightly worse when Hunter looks away after she takes off her shirt, unsure as to just what was happening. Obviously she knows that she isn’t exactly ugly. The guys that she’s been with before - casual flings mainly during university - assured her of that fact. She knows that Hunter finds her beautiful too because he says it every time he sees her. It’s just that there’s a difference between beautiful and sexy and that little voice at the back of her head - the only that reminds her that she’ll never be the pretty Fitzgerald - seems to love reminding her of that fact. 

She fights the urge to just straddle him on the table and forget all about this study session, especially when he leans up and brushes his lips across her cheeks. “You’re so distracting”, she complains, her brain short circuiting when he asks her what she wants to revise first. “By all means, interject with fun facts. It might take my mind off the fact that you’re just in your boxers”, she admits, wondering why she thought this was a good idea in the first place. It becomes even harder to concentrate as one of hs hands trails along the back of her legs and she closes her eyes, trying to clear her mind of all the not so pure thoughts that just entered it. He pulls away and thankfully, she can breathe again. “I like the fun facts”, she tells him, uncapping her permanent marker and biting at her bottom lip in concentration. She starts by simply labelling the major organs, knowing them off the top of her head. “Are we going word for word?” she enquires, wondering just when he wants to start writing on her.

He wants to tell her that there's nothing wrong with being a horny teenager, but he knows that it'd only further prove just how impure his thoughts were. Instead he chuckles as she becomes flustered by a simple kiss of her cheek, amazed that he somehow affected the blonde even a little. "Am I really distracting you that much?" he teases, unable to hide his smirk. "Perhaps this is the best study technique. You're looking at me so much that the words will end up engraved in your brain forever. We need to figure out a way to use this to help me revise for my history lessons," he decides, wanting another excuse to see her in such a little state of dress without seeming too ungentlemanly. 

He watches as she bites the permanent marker and the sight leaves him drooling slightly, suddenly regretting teasing her for staring when he was blantantly doing the same. "W-word for word?" he asks, the English language suddenly confusing him as he watches her lips carefully. He comes back to Earth after a few seconds of drifting off into a dream land where he took her on the table instead of studying on it, grabbing his glass of wine and finishing it before understanding. "I was thinking more you do me first, then I'll do you," he answers, shutting in his eyes as he realises just how awkward his phrasing was. "I mean, you write on me first, then I'll write on you," he clarifies, laughing nervously while rubbing the back of his neck.

“Yes, exactly”, she confirms, smiling widely as his arms wrap around her waist and tug her close, snug against his body. His lips move against hers, his tongue sliding against her lower lip as he pulls her impossibly close. She sighs softly, never wanting the kiss to stop. She can’t remember the last time a kiss took her breath away like this and she knows that she could spend hours kissing him without complaints. “Maybe we could do that after I’ve passed my exams”, she suggests, covering her mouth with her hand when she realizes that she basically just asked him to come over and make out with her for hours after her exams are over.

Her eyes widen slightly in surprise when Hunter starts taking off his clothes. She bites at her bottom lip, completely forgetting about what she’s supposed to be doing as she gets more than a little distracted by his body. She closes her eyes for a few seconds, trying to focus on something other than the fact that Hunter looks so tempting in just his black boxers. “Anything in the name of science, right?” she teases, her throat suddenly dry. Before she has a chance to change her mind, she pulls her singlet over her head and throws it across the room before grabbing a permanent marker off the side and making her way over to the table. “It should be illegal for someone to be this good looking”, she mumbles, her fingers trailing absentmindedly over his skin.

He grins to himself when he realises that Sarah had intentions of inviting him over for a makeout session, already excited for what the future held. Hunter notices her biting her lip, and it distracts him once again. It was almost a certainty that he'd eventually need to kiss her a few more times before the study session was over, and by the way she was admiring his body, he was sure she felt the same. A few moments later her singlet disappears, leaving her in nothing but the shorts and that damned black lace bra. He swallows loudly and tries to avert his eyes, not wanting to be too obvious about how unbearably attractive he found her, but his eyes kept returning to her body regardless.

"You're going to be the death of me," he mutters as she walks towards him, a permanent marker in hand. As her hands trail across his skin, he can't help himself from leaning up to graze his lips across her cheek before lying back down. "So, what part of the wonderful human body are we going to revise first? I know some fun facts about the human body, so you'll have to excuse the fact that I will almost definitely end up adding useless information to this," he jokes, laughing quietly as one of his hands trail along the backs of her legs. "For example, did you know that our nerve impulses to and from the brain can travel as fast as a hundred and seventy miles per hour? It's why you can register feelings so quickly, like stubbing your toe, burning your hand, or someone simply touching your skin..." he mumbles, his fingers lingering on her skin briefly before pulling away. "But enough about useless facts. You need to pass your exam, so use me as you please."

Her cheeks flush even further when he tells her how beautiful he finds her, her breath catching for just a second. “You’ve already charmed me into a first date, Hunter. You can curb all the compliments”, she teases, taken by surprise when he pulls her in for a second kiss. “That does make sense”, she admits, “but don’t they say that three is a charm?” she asks, wanting to feel his lips on hers once more. In fact, she’d be more than happy to scrap the rest of their plans for the afternoon so they could just kiss for the rest of the day but she knows that she needs to pass this exam.

She laughs slightly when he comes back out of the kitchen, downing his drink quickly. “First of all, it’s a little bit of an odd request. I’m still surprised that you showed up. Second of all, you really don’t have to drink that quickly. The wine isn’t going to evaporate, Watson”, she teases, smiling widely at the man standing in front of her. Her eyes trail over his body as he drinks his glass of wine, trying to look at him without making it really obvious. She’s never seen someone that manages to take her breath away in this manner before and she finds that she quite likes the fact that someone so beautiful is interested in her. “A toast sounds fantastic”, she agrees, filled with happiness at spending time with Hunter. She clinks her glass against his before drinking half of her glass at once before putting her glass down on the side, not wanting to be crazily drunk for today.

"The third times the charm, eh?" he teases, wrapping his arms around her waist. He skims his nose against hers, admiring the different colours within her eyes before pressing his lips against hers. His tongue runs along her lower lip, tugging her closer still. He can't help but smile into the kiss, his large grin causing him to pull away. He cups her face for a few seconds, needing to admire her before their study time begins. "While I could very, very happily do that for the next ten hours, I think I should help you pass this exam," he reminds her, kissing the tip of her nose before walking over to the dining table.

He removes his shirt first, grateful that he'd always loved working out. Hunter enjoyed a beer now and then, and it was through hard work each day at the gym that he avoided a beer gut. His jeans were next, leaving him in just a pair of black boxers. He sat on the edge, tilting his head and laughing softly. "It's not usually this easy to get me out of my clothes, Miss Fitzgerald. I hope you know it's just to help your medical career," he banters, both of them fully aware that, when it came to Sarah, it'd be plenty easy for her to undress him. Lying down, he taps his fingers along the sides of the table. "I'm ready when you, Doc."

She smiles a little when Hunter stutters whilst greeting her, finding it incredibly flattering. “I make a special effort to look good for you”, she admits, her cheeks flushing as his lips brush against her cheek. Her hand wraps around his wrist and she stops him from walking any further into the house. She stretches up slightly and presses her lips against his in their first offical kiss, having wanted to do that since the moment she met him. She slowly pulls away and takes her hand off his wrist, allowing Hunter to make his way into her house.

“Thank you”, she says, beaming slightly at the compliment. She doesn’t bring many people back to her house, viewing it as something private, so it’s a pretty big deal for her to have asked Hunter back here. “I’d love a glass”, she says softly, walking into the kitchen to grab a couple of glasses for the two of them. “Thank you for this, by the way”, she tells Hunter, genuinely appreciative of the fact that he was so willing to help her out.

"You don't have to make an effort. I find you almost unbearably beautiful every time I see you, Sarah. The effort is definitely not wasted on me though," he replies, his smile becoming wider as he becomes more comfortable in her presence. Hunter is surprised when she pulls him back, and even more surprised when she kisses him. Her lips are softer than he could have imagined, and he couldn't resist pulling her back in for another kiss, a little deeper than their first. "If you get our first, I get our second," he explains, giving her a wink as he walks further into her place. I'm definitely not going to be able to resist doing that more often.

He walks into the kitchen first, easily finding two wine glasses for the wine. "It's not problem! I'm a lover of education. It's practically my duty to help people with their studies," he teases before walking back out, passing her a glass while he begins to drink his rather eagerly. He slows down, mainly because he didn't want her to think he had to be drunk to be around her. Though it was partly true, he knew it'd come off the wrong way. Rather than realising he was trying not to jump her, Sarah would probably think her company was intolerable sober or something, which was the exact opposite of the truth. "Let's make a toast, shall we?" he suggested, his eyes bright with the wonder and hope that the idea of a blossoming relationship with Sarah created. "To our firsts, and to many more to come," he stated simply, clinking his glass against hers.

She honestly didn’t know what posessed her to ask Hunter to help her out with her studying. She normally wasn’t that brave at all when it came to interacting with guys but Hunter seemed to bring out the side of her that she had long since forgotten she had. Her hands were trembling slightly as she spent about two hours getting ready, trying to make sure that every inch of her was perfect. It wasn’t every day that she was going to have someone as gorgeous as Hunter strip off and lie on her dining room table so that she could write all over him and she wanted to look her absolute best considering that this would be Hunter’s first time seeing her in a bra.

She finally chooses her outfit about half an hour before Hunter is due to arrive, settling on a pair of denim shorts and her black lace bra, shoving a singlet over the top so that she doesn’t have to open the front door in just her bra. She waits nervously for him to show up, unsure as to just how this evening will end up working out. Thankfully, there’s a knock at the door and she moves to let him in, trying her best to ignore the nerves flooding through her body. “Hey Watson”, she says with an easy smile, opening the door wide to let him inside.

His breathing stalls for a moment when he first see's her. Her long legs were especially attractive in the denim shorts, and he could tell that a black lace bra was beneath her singlet. If it wasn't bad enough that her outfit had him speechless, the smile that he'd become so fond of was greeting him as well. "H-hey," he mumbles, blinking for a few seconds. He shakes his head to clear it and smiles back, regaining some of his composure. "You look absolutely beautiful. How do you manage to look so good in shorts and a singlet?" he asks, genuinely puzzled. Hunter kisses her cheek as he enters her home, his lips lingering before he realises that it'd been too long. 

"I like your place," he says honestly as he walks in a little further, smiling at the medical books scattered around the the decor that screaming 'Sarah.' It was only when he caught a glimpse of the dining room table that his nervousness returned yet again. "I brought wine with me. Want to have a glass before we get into this lesson?" He held up the bottle and gave her a lopsided smirk, raising his eyebrows slightly.

Hunter wasn't usually one to get so incredibly nervous around girls, but Sarah Fitzgerald had an amazing ability to turn him into a bumbling mess. It didn't help his nerves to know that his current car trip was taking him to her place where he would strip down, as would she, and they'd write all over each other. Having her that close and that exposed was going to be a terribly huge temptation, and it only made his palms sweat more. He'd taken extra care when getting ready, scrubbing the entirety of his body and wearing his finest cologne. It was unusual for him to worry about his looks so much, but having someone as stunning as Sarah brought it out in him.

He parked in her driveway behind her car and made his way to the front door, a bottle of wine in his left hand. They'd probably both appreciate the liquid encouragement. Once he knocked, he tried his best to appear casual, leaning up against the door. He changed positions about three times before realising they each made him look even more awkward. Hunter finally settled for just standing normally, waiting for the girl that he'd come to like more than he ever expected when he rang to talk about Amelia's behaviour in his history classes.

She had honestly started to think that Hunter had no intentions of taking her out on a date when a couple of weeks went by without her talking to Amelia’s teacher. She had almost been ready to delete his number from her phone but then her classes had been hitting her pretty hard and she was struggling to keep an eye on all of her siblings and their respective lives, what with all their relationship dramas, and she needed a break. Before she knew what she was doing, she had texted Hunter, asking about their first date, and he had quickly asked her out for later that day.

After her morning class at school, she had driven straight over to the pizza place that Hunter told her about, a small smile teasing at her lips as she pulls into the car park and heads into the restaurant. Her heart is thumping loudly in her chest and her hands are a little clammy but she’s excited too. She hasn’t been on a first date in years, not since high school actually, and she can’t remember ever feeling so giddy before. In high school, it was just something that she felt like she had to do to fit in but this date with Hunter is actually something she wants to do. Her smile broadens when she sees the high school teacher sitting at one of the booths and she crosses over to him. “Hey there, Watson”, she says as she slides into the booth across from him.

It had taken a lot for Hunter to convince himself that a date with Sarah was likely to happen. He was aware the ball was in his court, but it didn't stop him from being incredibly nervous about it all. Hunter Watson was a high school history teacher who still enjoyed comic books, and Sarah Fitzgerald? She had an air of sophistication beyond her years, and she was training to be a surgeon. Even just in their professions she was leagues above him. Still, his desire to get to know the woman better had driven him to suggest the impromptu date after she brought it up again, realising that perhaps she saw something in him that intrigued her.

He sits in the pizzeria and waits, still pondering the notion that she might not show up. She didn't seem like the type to stand somebody up, but he did barely know her. Just in case he sat in one of the booths and begins to read, trying to appear to be a man just reading a history novel in a pizzeria rather than a man waiting for a stunning blonde to join him. Hunter wasn't sure which would seem more pathetic if she did not show. It didn't matter though, because a few minutes later Sarah joins him, sliding in across from him. He smiles widely at her and puts the book in his bag, slightly taken aback by just how beautiful she was. "Well, if it isn't Sarah Fitzgerald," he began in a teasing tone. "Come here often?"

It only took a moment for him to realise that his line was not only cheesy, but confirmed that he was leagues below her. He laughs and rubs the back of his neck, pausing as though he wasn't quite sure what to say. The truth seems like the most logical idea. "Sorry, I, uh...I haven't exactly been on a date in a long time and I'm kind of rusty. What I should have said is that you look beautiful, because you definitely do, and because that would have made me seem much less nervous than I am."

Luckily, my lecture was cancelled so I'm free all afternoon. Lunch sounds great.
