Crystal bit her lip as she listened to her words, what she said was true looking down at her pin, she would rather risk herself for the sake of her brother. “There is part of me that wants to run and leave, then there is another part of me wants to stay here and help others and not be selfish.” 

Autumn was silent as she watched the other, her lips pursed into a fine line as she wondered if her words had somehow gotten through to the other. “And you really think your friends would do the same for you if they were in your position?” she wondered coolly. “Its a pretty big ask for some people”

“I’m the big sister, I have to take care of him.” She replied softly. “I’m out in the park just to try and get my mind off of everything, but it really doesn’t seem to be working that well.”

“Then you should do so, running around with heroes...That isn’t taking care of him. That is a death sentence for yourself” she said gesturing to the gold Heroes Union pin. “Best way to get your mind off everything is to leave the city, get away from it all properly. Ain’t no escaping shit right in the eye of the storm”

“Well, you make a point with that” she nodded, finding it intriguing that the hero was clearly far from home “And just why do you find yourself out here?” she wondered, tilting her head at the girl. “Quite”

“I know that I’m like that, I would hate for something to happen to my brother. I feel like since I’m his only family here that I have to protect him.”She replied softly as she looked up at her. “Yeah I guess that you are right about that.”

The woman nodded slowly, wondering if the others words meant that no one would miss her if she were gone. “And you really think that he needs protecting?” she wondered. “I tend to be right about a lot of things without trying to sound arrogant. It’s just who I am and what I do”

“Yeah, it can be hard to trust people but you just have to fine the people you know deep down are ones you can trust.”She replied pulling her legs up to her chest. “I agree with you, the smallest change can become huge down the line.”

“Always the ones that feel right about keepin’ close, like family” The woman agreed, before her gaze then went around the space of the park again “We all just have to do our part to make those small changes happen” she hummed, smirking slightly at her own wicked thought.

“Well some people must be amazing liars then because they sure know how not to show it.”She replied softly. “That’s really scary, sometimes they aren’t right and they keep going on like they are and they never know that one day that it’s going to get them hurt.”

“They are indeed, it’s why people have so little trust in each other” she admitted, she then clicked her tongue as she considered the others words. Simply because she was lying herself. “People don’t always know what’s best for them. It’s why those that try and make changes are the true champions. No matter how small they start off” she agreed, feeling that her team taking care of supers was something that was best for people.

“Believe me I may look calm on the outside, but on the inside I am not calm in the slightest bit.”She replied as she looked up at her. “I have seen so many that are just walking around like nothing is happening, it honestly upsets me.”

The woman nodded “Ain’t no one who is calm on the inside, child” she sighed “If they say they are, they are are lyin’ to everyone” she then clicked her tongue, her gaze casting around again. “It’s what people do, they go on like there’s nothin’ wrong, hopin’ they right”

Crystal needed to take a breather, the best place for her to do that was to head to the park. Normally she would go see her brother but he was busy with work. It seemed to be better for her to be alone, just to relax and be with her thoughts for a while. She found a nice part of the park and sat down on the grass,watching everybody going by. “How are they staying so calm, better yet how are they hiding their nervousness and fear.” She said out loud not expecting somebody to hear her.

“Ain't no one staying as calm as you, child. It’s been nothing but headless chickens from my experience” Autumn said simply, glancing around as she considered if the other was a workable target. But luckily for the hero the park was far too busy for a quick kill and run. The doctor gave a flex of her gloved fingers as she spoke, it was hard to remain so composed around a super.

Mmph Allendra grunted, pulling her hand away as she stepped back. “Look I’ll have it done by the end of the week. In the meantime, stop fucking tempting me to sick my dogs on you.” She spoke quickly, motioning to the villians that occupied the outside of her office. “I don’t have to use my powers to kill you, tiger.”

“Stick them on me, I’ll call my cats, see which ones come out on top...” Autumn said with no change in her expression “I’m sure you couldn’t, trust me....” she then snorted at the others words and turned to go to the door, then looking back “I’d watch your back, kid...I’m starting to lose alot of mercy”

Allendra smirked, knowing full well the Tiger was a worthy opponent. “No I’m not. You forget how fast things move once plans are put in place.” She spoke harshly, still stepping forward and grabbing the woman’s arm, the flame in her hand surrounding it. “You won’t beat me, not even with a plan. Now would you like to continue business or should I turn up the heat?”

“You seem to just be all talk, I’m getting extremely bored of waiting and thinking of cutting out the middle man...” she mused, then taking out a small device and making it emit a loud ringing noise to shock the other when she dared tried to burn her “I wouldn’t, we have technology to mess with those pathetic little genes of yours.”

Allendra ran a tongue against her teeth, trying to keep from lashing out. “You came to me, not the other way around. I’m perfectly on schedule, you gave me to the end of the damn month!” She spoke, clutching the desk with white knuckles. When she heard about her parents however, something snapped. She pushed against the desk, her super strength showing as it slid across the room and hit the wall. “You don’t fucking speak about them! You wanna see more? I’ll show more, bitch.” She yelled, flame coming from both of her hands as she took a step closer to the masked woman.

“And that is fast approaching, what are you going to do with just under a week, kid, you’re on fucking borrowed time” The masked woman snapped when the other raised her voice at her. “Not wise” the woman tisked, waggling a finger at her “You know full well that people like me have contingency plans in place for if things happen to them” she said simply, narrowing her eyes beneath the mask.

Not to threaten to kill each other.” She snapped, grabbing onto the table in front of her and the wood slowly starting to burn under her fingertips. “What am I? Daughter of two of the most powerful villians to ever enter the Society? The next leader of our organization? The future killer of Angel Day? The list goes on, cat.”

The masked woman waggled a glove finger “Oh no, I came to see if you were keeping up your end of things since you seem pretty damn fucking behind on schedule...” she said simply. “I wouldn’t say they the most powerful I’ve seen, Maybe they got whatever they call Titan blood but they died pretty fuckin’ stupid” she scoffed with a click of her tongue and a purse of her lips. “Then why ain’t you showin’ more?”

“I’d hold your tongue, bitch. You’re not above me, there’s blood on your hands as much as there is mine.” Allendra snapped, small sparks leaving her finger tips. “Wasting time? I think not, love, let’s not forget who I am.” She threatened, knowing damn well she had caused more havoc than any contract killer could hope to. “Threaten me again and I’ll burn you alive.”

“Course there’s blood on my hands, and yours will be next, I ain’t scared of no kid and I have killed others with powers that make you look like you have piss flames” she snapped at her, the woman still not taking off her tiger mask, liking the mystery. “And what are you exactly, huh?”

Allendra frowned, not used to being disrespected. “Watch your tone, tiger.” She answered, her hands starting to heat with her temper. “We are waiting for the correct time. Patience is a virtue, one that you obviously do not possess.” The woman answered, her voice unemotional as she spoke. “I would strongly recommend you not threaten me or my affiliates.”

“Or what? because I’m not above plugging you full of bullets, kiddo....You’re still Super scum” The woman said simply, still not removing her mask. “There is waiting for the right time and then wasting time, you are doing the latter” she said simply “So I’ll threaten who I fucking want to when it is my time that’s being wasted.”

“Just because we were…. Deterred… Does not mean our plans are no longer in action.” The girl spoke coldly, pushing her raven hair out of her face and leaning on a nearby wall. “Now, what do you want, I was busy until you so rudely interjected.”

“Then what the fuck are you idiots waiting around for?” Autumn said simply, wearing her White Tiger mask so that her face was hidden “Because with all these delays I’m just about ready to turn this into Open Season on all you Motherfuckers up in here.”
