Would there be hybrid species of Fragons?

Oh definitely! Skye is an example of this as he’s a hybrid between a war fragon (Rakkata) and a “show” or “pet” fragon (Istani) but Skye better resembles a war fragon like his dad.

And yes there are other types of fragons that can produce hybrid offspring.

However, pre-schism do not…did not like to hybridize fragons as they viewed the fragons as sacred and crossbreeding them would be seen as tainting a pure bloodline. They wanted the fragons to appear as almost gods on Oddworld.

Is there a god or goddess based off of the fragons?

There’s several smaller gods with fragon/lizard/flizard heads/features and there’s one war god named Ferkón and it’s believed that the fragons were named after him

Danila the Proud Engine

Age: Considered 19 in human years

Gender: Female

Length and height: Around the same as Cyrus

Danila is one of the newest members of the Pennfield fleet and she is very proud to be part of such a prestigious organization and to not just be a rebuild of some dirty old locomotive left rusting in a scrapyard (though we wont tell her her base came from a scrapyard). Dani is very much a pompous and sometimes downright cruel engine and is not afraid to look down on those she deems to be lesser than she is whether they’re a tank engine or an express engine m. She has absolutely no interest in going to Sodor and consorting with those ‘dirty scrap heaps’, but the idea of showing off to those Sudrians is appealing…

Unlike many engines who tend to boast about what they can do but eventually get proven as frauds, Danila (as well as the other Pennfields) absolutely *can* do whatever they say they can do as they are “improved” from their original basis. I think it would be quite funny to see her and James interact.

Danila, unlike Libby, isn’t very keen to befriend humans or view them as adorable, nor does she enjoy eating human food or watching human tv shows through the window. Libby adores her baby sister however and wants to try and make her see how fun her way of thinking can be. Cyrus on the other hand, isn’t too fond of Danila but is always professional with her even if he is disappointed in having a sister that seems to be cruel…

Spencer isn’t fond of her and she isn’t fond of him, viewing him as a “primitive” engine compared to both her and her siblings as he hasn’t had his flaws fixed like the Pennfield’s have. She always talks to him in a very posh manner and that somehow makes her insults worse. Cyrus has warned her about disrespecting elder engines but she doesn’t seem to care much.

When the Pennfield railway opens up, she’s intended to be a shunter for Libby alongside Cyrus as well as any potential express siblings in the future.

Spencer The Silver Beast

A privately owned beast that is haughty and dismissive of other beasts that he deems beneath him. He is a cousin to Gordon and has been known to try and intimidate the other beast and this has resulted in incidents with the other male. He is difficult to deal with, especially for inexperienced handlers unused to the big, spoiled furball.

Spencer was born in the same ranch Gordon and Mallard came from and he had a relatively similar upbringing though with higher expectations due to other factors he was the same type as the record breaking Mallard. Much like Mallard and the other A4’s, Spencer had his horns cut off and periodically has to have them shaved down. This is believed to help with his speed.

After a while, he was sent to be scrapped but was saved by the Duke and Duchess and made into their private transport beast as well as a pampered pet of sorts. Spencer often boasts about his custom gear and how he has swarms of grooms and a whole yard back home all to himself.

He wont admit it but, he is secretly insecure, probably due to his previous owners sending him to be scrapped and due to the fact that he’s kin to Mallard, been if Spencer has broken records in the past and is a very capable engine when he wants to be.

The Pennfields

He has met the Pennfield fleet and he…dreads spending time with them whenever their owners meet up, even if it is funny watching him get humbled by a group of mostly female beasts and all of them much younger than him. Danila especially grates on his nerves as she will on occasion take things from him or try to assert her dominance like she isn’t a tank beast.

Libby is a great big dope so she presses his buttons without even realizing it! She mostly thinks he’s funny no matter how much he puffs up to try and intimidate her and she has knocked him down once so he knows not to anger her. He once snapped at Cyrus and Libby shoved him to the ground

(Got this big boy out kinda quick as i am pretty busy but im still glad i got him out. I def want t o add on some extra lore in the future…maybe…if I can think of something. Let me know how you like him!)

Antanasia ‘Anya’ /LADS Asset #002

Age: 15 (Was an infant during the Village Incident)

Gender: Female

Height: 6ft

LADS Asset No. 002 (or Anya ,as she prefers) was recovered as an infant, believed to be a newborn, after the events in February of 2021 alongside Assets no. 004 (Fiorella) and no. 003 (Otto). She exhibits the same vampiric qualities as her biological mother (Alcina Dimitrescu) and requires blood and meat to survive but has been known to eat other foods, including fruits and veggies. Employees are encouraged to donate blood to help keep her food supply up.

002 is able to run at high speeds exceeding that of the average human though top speed is still unknown and possesses immense strength (has been recorded slicing clean through practice dummies and is able to take down men much larger than she is during missions). She is also very prone to sunburns so it’s advised to keep her covered up when outside as much as possible. Her ears are also sensitive to sudden high pitched noises, Handlers are advised to keep the use of the Acoustic Inhibitors to a minimum.

Fellow LADS Assets have gotten on very well with no. 002 and view her as a big sister as well as a leader of their squad both in the Lab and out on the field. 002 has gotten on well with Asset no. 004 (Cordelia) and has been known to be especially protective of the younger Asset (likely due to the fact that 005 is much more grotesque and helpless outside of water). She has also gotten on well with Rosemary Winters since her recent addition to the LADS roster, however, the two girls seem more wary of one another at this point and Handlers are advised to ensure Inhibitor remotes are working as intended.

Emily Ashcroft has only just started her interactions with no. 002 but so far they have gone very well and are expected to improve overall LADS moral. Visits are continued to be supervised under a certified Handler.

Asset no. 002 hasn’t yet exhibited signs of mutations aside from vampiric features and the growing of long claws from each hand similar to her biological mother. The Asset is to be continually monitored for signs of mutation.

(WELP there’s my Anya! I’ve been wanting to introduce this gal for a while especially her Resident Evil version since Requiem came out and the new movie trailer AND the Code Veronica remake trailer have put my Resident Evil obsession back to the forefront…plus…Anya’s bio mom is Lady D so I had to lol. I really don’t like how this one came out but I got sick of working on her so I got her to a point I liked and said “Fuck it” she’s still pretty tho. I’ll get around to posting her ‘original property’ version as I like that version of her too. Let me know what you think!)

Basically Uma Musume but with centaurs but I may go back and give them all horse ears because I like how they stick up lol

Gordon and the others live together at a big ranch where they live and train. Gordon is Sir Topham Hatt’s best racer and he’s hoping to make him into his best champion like his younger brother. They sleep in a bunkhouse/ stable thing and Gordon complains of never being able to sleep even though he usually snores and keeps everyone else up.

They use horse tracks during the off season and help to maintain them too which Gordon hates as he’s not for plowing but it’s usually him or Henry that has to help.

Human-centaur hybrids exist and are looked down on by both humans and centaurs. They’re either born with a full horse half or human legs and horse features.

“May I speak plainly, Sir Topham Hatt?” Harlen Calloway turned from Henry to the beast’s owner. The one who had called for Harlen to correct the problem behaviors springing up in his fleet.

“I should hope so”

“Henry is too fat”

Henry’s face scrunched up and he blew a large puff of smoke.

“*I’m not fat!*”

James began to laugh from where he was sitting while Harlen ignored both of them, eyes firmly on the large, well dressed fellow in front of him.

“He is sickly too and carrying around more weight than he ought to, I understand you trust your staff but they ought to know when a beast isn’t in fit condition to run.” Harlen folded his arms over his chest as he formulated a plan for poor Henry. “I will need to change his routine.”

Henry groaned, not enjoying the sound of a change in routine especially from this funny smelling newcomer.

Henry The Green Beast

Bearing the number 3, Henry is among the largest of the fleet and one of the more gentle, though he does have a temper so it’s best to that he is large and can be dangerous. However is quite friendly hen he’s in a good mood and he is very easy to get on with for a big beast. He quite enjoys pulling the fish train known as The Flying Kipper along with spending time in the forest or just outside in general.

Henry was born to an unknown mother and father, however rumors abound that he and Gordon may or may not be related via Gordon’s father, as an experimental hybrid to try and rival Gresley’s Pacfic line. He was unfortunately born without as many legs and was born too early to boot so he was sold as soon as he was weaned. He was not a very good runner and had breathing issues so his owners sold him as soon as they got the chance. Thankfully, Henry was purchased by Sir Topham Hatt, who was looking for a new express beast and was deeply unimpressed when Henry arrived instead of an Atlantic as promised. He took a chance on Henry though as no beast deserved to be sent for scrap or sold to be worked to the bone.

Gordon shoved Henry around in the early days, as Gordon wanted to establish dominance and fights almost broke out several times between the two before they were both punished by working the most demeaning jobs and some time with a trainer.

The Tunnel Incident

One rainy day, Henry refused to leave a tunnel out of fear his paint would be ruined and The Fat Controller punished the stubborn beast by bricking him up in the tunnel and refusing to let him out until he agreed to follow orders. Henry was let out only when Gordon needed help. Since then, Henry does his jobs without (much) complaint.

The Flying Kipper

His worse incident happened in winter one year when the signals were frozen and Henry had been pulling the Flying Kipper early that morning and he unfortunately crashed into a waiting train. He had several broken bones and severe cuts and some wondered if that was it for Henry before Topham decided to send Henry to Crewe instead of the slaughterhouse where Henry spent a year recording and being patched up before coming home a new beast.

Afterwards he worked better than ever and even started to get along more with his fellow beasts and his handlers and he began to spend more time in the forests and near the water as he seems to think things smaller than he is are very cute and in need of his care and protection.

Harlen Calloway

The famous trainer and driver managed to chip away at Henry’s stubborn personality (Henry doesn’t really like new people coming to tell him what to do) over time via giving him gifts of pets in his favorite spots, snacks, and trips to the forest outside of work (Harlen felt steam beasts needed to let off their leashes sometimes) and helping Henry through his sick episodes even if Henry didn’t much want a friend in a human at first let alone one that wanted him a den Gordon to stop threatening to fight each other. Henry was also jealous that Edward was clearly Harlen’s favorite. Henry was among the many sad to see their new human friend go and were eagerly waiting for him to come back before they got news of his death.

Ducky Calloway

He thinks Ducky is a pisspoor imitation of her father that’s too eager to take her father’s place and he tried to prove that by shaking her off his harness one day which was a mistake as she fell and bruised her ribs and she snapped at him between tears. He felt terrible for what he did and wants to make it up to her if she will let him. Though he isn’t too sure how he’ll do this exactly…
