I started this a week ago and it’s finally finished. Genuinely gave up on the background though. ANYWAY here’s Will as Saint Sebastian!

‘character who’s tired of being a person’ + ‘character who’s tired of not being a person’
good morning i am thinking about how insane “you’re the mongoose i want under my house when the snakes come by” is to say to someone you just met like. yesterday

“Hannibal laughs, a small noise full of mostly quiet breaths, and Will whips back around to look at him. Almost immediately without meaning to, Will finds himself helplessly smiling at him in shock. There’s a genuineness to the way the other man is laughing—as if the sound was surprised out of him. As if he didn’t mean for it to happen, but it did anyway. Will feels something warm settling in his stomach, like a candle has been lit inside of him.
Distantly, he thinks it will burn him if he lets it.”

"Will inhales Hannibal’s blood-and-evergreen scent and feels his headache start to ease. He watches the police officers and paramedics wander around the yard. Elise’s parents are being ushered away in shock blankets, faces blank and pale. He wonders if they knew about her illness and could sense the time limit looming over them. He wonders if it’s worse or better that it no longer matters."

Mmmm…. Will graham…. Mmmmmmmmm🤤
i smile at the moon; death is on my face (chapter 5)
There is a certain pleasure to watching Hannibal stuff his long limbs into a coach class seat next to Will. He’s too put-together to ever show displeasure about it, but it practically radiates off of him in waves. “The Bureau doesn’t offer First Class unless we’ve appropriately sacrificed limb and life to the cause,” Will says lightly, surprised to find himself teasing the other man. He makes sure to stare fixedly out the window of the plane to the tarmac instead of at Hannibal. “Or the flight is out of cheap seats,” he adds as an afterthought. “It’s of no consequence to me,” Hannibal claims. Will can hear him smooth his hand over his trousers as if it’s the closest he’ll let himself get to fidgeting. Will smiles to himself as the lights inside the plane temporarily turn off to prepare for takeoff. “Right.”
