"Nice to meet you, Cynthia. I'm Hunter," he said, sticking his hand out to shake hers.

"Hm, well, it's the thought that counts, right?" Hunter replied, shrugging his shoulders.
Jess laughed lightly at his words, lifting a brow as she looked at him. ”Coffee and Muffins. I can live with that.” she mentioned with a grin. His question brought just another tug to the corner of her lip. If she hadn’t been already planning to stick around, she would have probably reconsidered just for the hot guy ratio around here. ”Yeah, I guess. I travel a lot for work either way.” she mentioned, lifting her shoulders in a shrug.
As they arrived at the coffee shop, Hunter opened the door for Jess. "Travel for work? What do you do?" He asked, waiting for Jess to walk into the cafe.
Anybody have any suggestions for a scary movie I could watch? Feelin' in the mood for a good scary movie.

Alright, fine, you caught me. I'm an axe murderer! Guess the secret is out now.
”Sandwiches aren’t exactly a Starbucks thing.” she pointed out with a short laugh. ”So I hope you can survive on a blueberry muffin or something,” she gave Hunter a playful glance. ”I’m a passerby. I’ve visited the Hamptons before, but I’ve been sticking around for the last few weeks.” she mentioned with a shrug of her shoulders.
Hunter shrugged, "I can handle a muffin. Sounds pretty good, actually." he chuckled, smiling. He nodded along while she spoke, walking next to her, "Planning on staying for a while?"
"Oh?" She nodded. "Don’t enjoy living alone?" She questioned with a small smile. It was best to keep the conversation light, or so she had realised from her other encounters about the Hamptons. Apparently some people were just far too uptight.
Hunter shrugged, "Could use for saving some money at the moment, really," he replied, giving a small smile to her.
"I'm Hunter, by the way."
If there was a chance he was a fae-hunter, she wasn’t exactly keen on the idea of giving him her name. But she figured it was her last name that would be more incriminating in fae-circles. “Self-control isn’t a problem.” She replied, twirling the tuque on one finger. “As for my name - it’s Meredith. Nice and normal, hm?”
Hunter pursed his lips, "Yes, I'd say so. But my name isn't normal?" He shrugged, "I don't understand how Hunter isn't a normal name." Hunter could tell this girl was on edge, like she was anticipating for something to happen.
Waiting room
Blatantly ignoring, the hand that was stuck out in front of him, Anthony looked up and stared at the man who had the audacity to decide he can randomly approach someone and demand questions. “What is here-say not enough for you people, you’ve started blatantly asking people about their personal lives? Are you serious? Who the hell are you that I’d owe you any answers?” Damn, he hated living in a small town. If this was man was a reporter, he had something coming for him.
Hunter nodded once and sat down next to the boy, "I'm uh-- I work for the local police department. I just needed to ask a few questions." He said, looking at the boy next to him.
Lance looked down at his phone to make sure that Hunter’s number was indeed in there. “Thank-you. I shall wait out here. If you run into trouble of any sort, do let me know. Or you can call me, of course.” He added, raising his cell-phone for show before pocketing it once more and heading over to a bench.
Hunter chuckled at Lance, "Sure thing, buddy," he replied, walking inside the walk-in clinic portion of the hospital.

I do not comprehend the point of such a statement. Are we not together now? If they are implying we should not part ways, they should direct themselves to you. After-all, you have a tendency to disappear more often than I do.

Hunter kept laughing at Lance, "Right, right." He threw his hands up, showing he was backing down.
Jess slowed down her pace to allow Hunter to catch up to her before she replied. ”Well, Starbucks is just up ahead.” she shrugged,. ”Might be a good place to start.” she said rather bluntly with a grin to her lips. ”So tell me Hunter, are you a long term resident here, or a newbie?”
Hunter caught up to Jess, "Starbucks is fine. I could go for a sandwich and some coffee." Hunter glanced at Jess, "I've been here a while, yeah. How about you?"
