❝ I’m from — ❞ he gags, gnashing teeth together as a furious snarl
tremulously escapes through the corridors of his throat,
❝ — THE EARTH ! As in, THIS PLANET, RIGHT HERE !! ❞
Struggling to rectify his breathing into a semi-regular pattern
rather than the staccato wheezes it’s been reduced to, he
continues, ❝ you must be highly idiotic if you couldn’t already
deduct the place of my nativity simply from my GLARINGLY
HUMAN physical appearance. ❞
Acrimonious annoyance festering within him like molten gold,
searing his innards and forcing his fists to curl in poorly
suppressed violence, they feed off of each other’s anger
and fury, terrible catalysts for virulent hate. She is yelling at
him, and he, rightfully, shouts back, and she simply raises
her voice and adjusts her tone, and he will not have that.
Only her capitulation or mangled death can soothe his fury:
trembling in rage and doing his absolute best not to generate
any more unwanted attention with his quixotic theatrics, he
ceases tilting at windmills, but will still refuse to allow her to
get away unscathed.
He is beyond ancient by human standards and the lapse of time
that they take to accumulate their awakenings, their golden eras,
is naught but a midsummer’s dream to his tediously cataloged
memory; she, besides being younger, oozes stupid. The
distressing lack of any functioning semblance of sense in her
words offends him and his exemplary intellect. He raises an
accusing finger, rapt with hateful ire and the parried weapon of
his choice, and declares, ❝ this isn’t even your BUSINESS ! Didn’t
your parental units teach you to keep your nose out of other’s…
other’s…other’s lunchboxes ?! ❞ He flits closer, joints creaking in
weary protest as he extends his finger and jabs her in the chest,
twisting his digit into the fabric of her lapels. ❝ Why are you
harassing me ? I’ve done NOTHING to you, but if you’d LIKE, I
can EASILY provide VALID REASON to DISLIKE ME. ❞
[ she crosses her arms, a loud exhaling from her nostrils expressing her absolute aggravation. this creature, thing, whatever the hell it is, is lying to her through its teeth, and she knows it. she grinds her sharp teeth together, and she knows it’s a horrible thing to do. wear down her teeth, ruin them, make it harder for her to eat, but at the moment, she’s pissed off. ]
[ she barks once again, and her fingers, those nails, dig into scarred skin, through even the onyx coloured cloth she wears over her arms. snarling, growling, like the beast she is, teeth bared and lips curled as the looks at him now not with annoyance, but with utterdisgust. this thing dares to lie to her. dares to lie to a wyverian, it dares to even continue its deceit and lies, even once she swears she has caught him in them. ]
Yer whatever getup yer usin’ ain’t GOOD, kid. Stop LYIN’ t’me.
[ she loathes liars. all they make her feel is anger. she hates being angry. when he points at her, she hisses at him, like a wild cat, or, a monster. like the ones she had been so used to fighting, and when he jabs her, she snaps her jaws at his finger. she is in no mood for anygames. especially not from little green children who are really years and years older than she.]
Yer LYIN t’me and probably t’MANY OTHER people.
[ she spits in his face, tracing over her teeth with her tongue before she goes back to snarling once more. ]
‘s enough fer me t’HATE you already.
