[ protective reverse ] receiver stays curled close even after sender falls asleep { smoker ooooo }
He should have left hours ago.
Snuffing out his cigar with one hand, the other begins to card through raven strands. Fingers making their way down the back of the surgeon's neck and stopping just shy of the nape, he offers the man a sideways glance and finds the pirate nestled against his shoulder, sound asleep.
So he lets out a low grunt.
' Oi ... ' Minimal attempt is actually made to wake the man up. He doesn't shout, doesn't holler, doesn't even lift his shoulder in order to wake the captain by force. Watching instead — the slow rise and fall of Law's chest — his fingers resume their previous ventures; this time sliding between the man's shoulder blades.
He's already been here long enough, what the hell kind of harm is another couple of minutes going to do?
