        There is no other bond quite as strong as the bond between a father and daughter. In their case, this was no different. She took after both of her parents very strongly, but her essence was so much like him that it instilled fear into the masses. She had learned from him so much already in the short time that she had been on this planet, and though her visage would suggest she was a teenager, she had only been on the planet for a few years. That evening, she sat peacefully in the den of their spacious home, fingers tracing over pages of her deceased grandfather’s journal. 

        The older she got, the more her mother had let her in to the dark crevasses of the past. Lips pursed inwardly, she was attentively focused on the pages - so much so, she almost did not notice her father standing there. Almost. Bright blue hues which resembled his flicker upward towards him, and a smile permeates her features so bright that it could illuminate heaven and hell equally, simultaneously. “Hi, dad!” She chimed in greeting. Yes, he was notorious for his reputation as the devil himself, but to her, she would always be dad; nothing more, nothing less. A brow furrows in questioning, ever slight and curious. “Everything alright?”
