I wouldn’t necessarily say this is a bad product or that there’s really anything wrong with it, other than the fact that there are only two color options and both of them clash with my interior design scheme. My problem arose when I set it up in my living room. My cat, Tiramisu, loved it. She couldn’t get enough of the height or the fact that she could stand on the top and launch down onto my head as I passed her by. But then she got a little too confident and tried launching herself off of the highest stand and it resulted into her crashing into the glass of my sliding door. She thought she could get outside because this thing gave her too much power. In other words, it’s lovely besides it’s lack of color choices, just don’t set it up next to a door or window when you live on the 8th floor and your cat thinks she’s some kind of stuntman.

With this vacation being such short notice, I spent the entirety of my Saturday packing and trying to find someone to manage the bakery and feed my cat while we’re away. I’m certainly not complaining - I could really use the vacation. But a few weeks notice for all the business owners being invited to this thing probably would have a been a good idea. Between recovering from last night’s fiasco and digging proper summer wear back out of my closet, I’m flustered.

So my mom and her longtime friend who lives with her thought I was working way too hard and needed something fun so they got me some like voucher thing to do the Escape Room thing down in Manhattan. It’s for like me and five other people, who wants in?

Today marks the official start of Fall, in my eyes, as today I drank my first pumpkin spice latte of 2017. To me, there is nothing more magical than New York City in Fall and Winter, and I for one cannot wait until I start my Chrismukkah shopping.

I’ve been trying to decide if incorporating pumpkin spice into the cafe menu would be worth it or not. We already amp up the pumpkin pie and pastry output, but our coffee and espresso typically stay classic menu-wise. Thoughts? 

I do agree with you completely. At least that Fall is the most wonderful time of the year. I could do without snow.

We the People of the Snix Shack were outraged when our Wanky Wednesday karaoke nights were wrongfully ripped from us! Our drunken singalongs that inspired camaraderie and applause were disbanded by a vicious tyrant. But I, Nightbird, under the guise of my Craigslist screenname have come to save the day!

I’ve rescued our beloved karaoke machine from the Evil Snix’s clutches and retrieved it from behind a Starbucks dumpster. Karaoke night is back pending Lord T’s approval at the Blittany loft! Saturday night’s theme: Power Diva Ballads.

I had to look up liquid cases because I didn’t originally understand the concept, and my first thought upon seeing them was why would anybody want to have one of these? Obviously I don’t need to explain why.

You’re telling me. I pretty much operate on coffee. I don’t usually wake up with enough time to make any in the morning so I have to stop somewhere. Do you know how many problems would be solved if it was just ready for me before I got up? It would be life changing, most likely.

Are any of these people under forty? I figured that was obvious enough, considering the fact that I’m the one saying sleeping with your phone is a bad thing. Not that I have one of those awful liquid cases, but I digress.

I don’t understand anyone who doesn’t feel that way in the slightest. You could just wake up earlier. Though, finding a way to buy one of these clocks sounds a lot more appealing.

Apparently the note 7 was prone to spontaneous combustion. I’m not sure what would suck more; being electrocuted or having my trusty mobile device blow up in my face. 

I didn’t even know that those existed. What is this feeling? Happiness? 

On a charging stand shaped like a donut that sits on my night stand. Who still has a Samsung? And why do you want to know where I keep my phone when I’m sleeping? Also consider the hazard that’s actually literally happening where people with the liquid cases are waking up with chemical burns on their body. That would be horrible.

Probably. But I know I have to get one. To wake up to the smell of coffee right next to my bed in the morning is pretty much a dream come true.

Working, so that’s not spectacularly better. You could go out. It’s always fun seeing how long it takes for the guys to fly off the new bull down at The Shack or listening to Rachel wail now that the karaoke machine is done-zo.

I think I need one of those. I don’t know that I wouldn’t rip it off my headboard after the first time, but I know that it would get me out of bed. 

Uh.. no, I have not. Apparently there are some that vibrate when you need to wake up. I don’t really see how effective that would be. Plus, if it malfunctioned you’d end up electrocuted in your sleep and that’s not how I wanna go.

Maybe try one of those ones that brews coffee for you in the morning.
