Protesters voiced anger at the new guidance on single sex-spaces and fears that trans people are being excluded from society.
"Every single person who marched today is proof that we are not going anywhere, that our joy is louder than their hate, and that London Trans+ Pride will keep fighting, keep loving and keep growing until every trans person is safe, seen, and free," they added.
Before the march, a mother of a trans woman who took her own life said "more children are going to die" unless Mr Burnham works to reverse the "anti-trans policies" that Sir Keir Starmer oversaw.
i saw this somewhere else but reply / tag what you did today so everyone can see that we all did something different today

finally got all my tomatoes potted up, cucs, and aubergines, and squash in. More Hollyhocks are flowering. Also bought a v nice yarrow and mini mullein at the fancy plant fair.
Synonyms for great mullein are wonderful; beggar's blanket, blanket leaf, bullock's lungwort, candlewick, clown's lungwort, cow's lungwort, duffle, feltwort, flannel leaf, fluffweed, hag taper, hag's taper, hare's beard, hedge taper, Jupiter's staff, king's taper, lady's candles, lady's foxglove, light of the Lord, lucernaria, old man's flannel, rag paper, shepherd's club, torch lily, velvet dock, velvet plant, woundweed, Adam's flannel,
Also had a scan on my feet at the weekend, turns out I have neuromas in both feet - which explains the standing on burning coals sensation I've had for the past 3 years. Waiting for an appt to see what happens next

me, every single time i see people (especially women) talking about the divine feminine energy, or the sacredness of the womb or whatever it is now:
[image description: a two-panel photo of a person dialling a number and then placing the phone to their ear. the contact is saved as âUrsula K. Le Guinâ /end ID]
context is this quote by her:
But I didnât and still donât like making a cult of womenâs knowledge, preening ourselves on knowing things men donât know, womenâs deep irrational wisdom, womenâs instinctive knowledge of Nature, and so on. All that all too often merely reinforces the masculinist idea of women as primitive and inferior â womenâs knowledge as elementary, primitive, always down below at the dark roots, while men get to cultivate and own the flowers and crops that come up into the light. But why should women keep talking baby talk while men get to grow up? Why should women feel blindly while men get to think?
Also shout out to Angela Carter:
âIf women allow themselves to be consoled for their culturally determined lack of access to the modes of intellectual debate by the invocation of hypothetical great goddesses, they are simply flattering themselves into submission (a technique often used on them by men). All the mythic versions of women, from the myth of the redeeming purity of the virgin to that of the healing, reconciliatory mother, are consolatory nonsenses; and consolatory nonsense seems to me a fair definition of myth, anyway. Mother goddesses are just as silly a notion as father gods. If a revival of the myths gives women emotional satisfaction, it does so at the price of obscuring the real conditions of life. This is why they were invented in the first place.â â Angela Carter, The Sadeian Woman: And the Ideology of Pornography
