the result of the ultrasound was; the lumps on my wrists are fat tissue that has herniated through my damp-rice-paper-consistancy connective tissue, which is what I thought. The inflammation on my knuckles and fingers is apparently 'not clinically significant' which is annoying.

I hoped something clear would show up, the pain in my hands/wrists has been getting much worse, and combined with all the other hand symptoms- tremors, numbness, pins + needles, cramps where I cant open my fingers, weakness, pain radiating down my forearms, it's getting v v annoying.

I basically said all this on the phone, and I'm now going for another round of blood tests. If that doesn't show anything I think I'm going to ask for a rheumatology ref, like if its still 'only' fibro, its been 9 years since I got a diagnosis, and my hands weren't an issue then, and are now unusable a lot of the time
