he actually LOVES baking
it's one of his secret hobbies but he never told you about it because he's afraid that you'll find him weird
he's such a shy baby 😭
but with bokuto around it's not hard to find out
he's too LOUD for his own good
anyway when you found out about his little hobby you couldn't help but gush about it because your boyfriend??? just became an even bigger softie???
"keiji you bake??? that's definitely the cutest thing about you now gosh i've always wanted a boyfriend who can bake 🥺"
he's blushing HARD and nervously fiddles with his fingers
"you don't find it weird?"
you tiptoed and pecked him on the lips in an attempt to reassure him
"of course i don't."
man's finally calmed down and smiles shyly at you
from that day on, baking became something the two of you did often
honestly baking with akaashi is just so therapeutic
after a long tiring day all he wants to do is to chill and bake with you
lo-fi music plays in the background
loves the feeling of your arms around his waist while he's doing things around the kitchen
but he will not let you be near the oven because he's just so protective of you
he mostly did all the work because he insisted to
actual heart eyes when he looks at you eating what he had baked
because to him, baking is another way for him to express his love for you
loves it when you compliment his baking but doesn't show it but if you look at him close enough he'll have that little smile on his face now and then when you do so
he just loves you so much 🥺
KAGEYAMA TOBIO
first of all
poor baby 😭
he has absolutely no idea of what goes on in baking
"milk....you need milk to bake right?"
"tobio there's other ingredients too, not just milk"
ironically he's the one that suggests you two try baking together since you two haven't been spending much time together lately since he's super busy
he's the one preparing all the ingredients beforehand and invites you over to help him out
last google search: what are the chances of me burning down the kitchen
anyway
honestly the only reason he suggested this was because he wants to IMPRESS you !!!!!
he wants to show you that he is capable of doing other things as well 🥺
but why through baking i wonder
thankfully you've baked before and was able to guide him throughout the process
he's quite hesitant, so you had to take your time to try and explain to him clearly until he understood the steps
and now the cookies are safely baking in the oven
oh thank god
the two of you sat down on the sofa to wait, but you couldn't help but notice that he seemed a little down
you knew that he felt bad that you had to do most of the work today and probably feels bad about himself too
you reached over and gave his hand a little squeeze
"tobio i'm really happy that i got to spend time with you today, thank you for suggesting this."
he looked at you and gave you a small smile
"no thank you, for being patient with me."
to make it up to you, he lets you pick the movie to watch that night
he also cuddled with you until you fell asleep 🥺
oh and the cookies that you baked with him?
they ended up being the most delicious cookies you've ever eaten in your life
OIKAWA TŌRU
it's a no brainer
there's no better way to surprise him than with his favourite milk bread
you decided that you'll bake it for him that afternoon since he had practice and would end late
by the time he would come over to study with you, a plate of freshly baked milk bread would be waiting for him
it was the PERFECT plan
or so you thought
you were in the middle of rolling out the dough when you heard the doorbell ring and the door open
"y/n-chan i'm here~"
you FROZE because he wasn't supposed to be here until an hour later
he sets his gym bag down on the sofa and walks over to the kitchen
"t-tōru what are you doing here so early?"
"ahh we ended earlier so i thought i'd drop by and surprise you"
he looks over at the kitchen counter and notices the mess
"wait...were you making milk bread? for me? 🥺"
"yeah i was, i'll just-"
"i'll help you y/n-chan!!"
unfortunately he failed to see the puddle of water in front of him
so he fell
and pulled you down with him
"THAT HURT WHY'D YOU PULL ME DOWN FOR"
"because i wanted to do this"
he held the side of your face, bringing it closer to his
your eyes fluttered close in anticipation
only to be greeted with oikawa dusting your cheeks in flour
"OIKAWA TŌRU!!!!!!!!!!! HOW DARE YOU"
"catch me if you can y/n chan~"
it was safe to say that there was a lot of cleaning up to do afterwards
is he really a third year
anyway
the two of you managed to enjoy some freshly baked milk bread while studying that night
and it was definitely worthwhile because it was for your boyfriend after all
who thanked you by peppering your face with kisses afterwards 🥺
