The person getting upset mysteriously got a bloody nose and then coughed up blood (‘do you see that? Do you think there is a epidemic going around? That must be the eighth person I see coughing up blood.. I am getting a little worried!’) Which shut him up effectively. Minwoo smiled and then nodded understanding. “Okay yeah, you haven’t made many friends yet? It must be hard, I remember when I was just new… It is a long time ago but well…” He shrugged and grinned “Times change, but you should try to meet a lot of people. It was my determination to fuck every cute person in school that finally landed me with my fiance.”

“Dragonite-” Minwoo said teasing “Why a Dragonite. Everyone has one-” He opened his own Pokémon game and showed her. “Umbreon, Gyarados, Chandelure, Flygon, Raichu and” he grinned “Skitty. But this is just a temporary team, I am training my Skitty and Raichu-” The demon was positively surprised by the offer. “Oh that’s really sweet, sure thanks. Do you want a beer?”

When she had seen the person get a bloody nose, she had looked over at the male and puffed her cheeks out. "I don't suppose you had something to do with that, did you?" Hweji had seen others leave because of other certain things of the sort. "I've made some friends but I don't know if they'd want to wait here all night because of me." She told the other before smiling a bit at what he had said. "Well, that's a different way to get a fiance--"

The mermaid had puffed her cheeks out when he teased her Dragonite. "I like him cause he's cute." She said as she looked over at his game. "Aww, a skitty? That's cute~" Hweji smiled happily before she scooted closer to the male so he could share some of her blanket. "A beer? Oh, I don't really drink unless I'm at a club." She smiled softly and giggled.

Minwoo grinned and adjusted a little as he waved at her to join where he sat, he sat about six people before the girl but if they objected he would just give them a bloody nose (He had made about five people leave with internal bleeding already tonight because they had been annoying or loud). “I could ask the same to you, but nah. My friends aren’t really into gaming- I had one..” He cleared his throat “But he isn’t ah.. able to join me now. My fiance would kill me if I asked him to join me though. How about you?” he grinned and then offered her some crackers. “I am Minwoo by the way.”

A glance at her handheldconsole made him grin. “What kind of Pokémon team do you have? I have X by the way? What about you?” He leaned in to peek at her screen.

When the boy motioned for her to come over to where he was, Hweji looked over at the people in front of her and bit her lip. "Are you sure it's okay?" She asked before getting up and grabbing a hold of her things, walking over to where he was before sitting down, apologizing to the people she was cutting in front of. Out of the six, one person did get upset which made her feel bad but she wasn't going to go back to her place since she wanted the same just as much as them. "I don't know, I just entered Insolitus Academy and I don't know if anyone would want to stay with me like this after only meeting me." Hweji laughed and fixed the blanket around her.

"My name is Hweji. Nice to meet you, Minwoo~" She said only to look back down at her 3DS, humming happily. "I have Pokemon Y. I have a Dragonite, Gardevoir, Jolteon, Garchomp, Empoleon, and Talonflame! They're lovely~" She mused and had looked back at the male again. "Are you cold? I could share my blanket with you if you want. It's a bit chilly, don't you think?"

Splash!~ || Hweji & Yongguk

Yongguk had never been too much of a swimmer. He wasn’t bad or good, probably because he didn’t do it often. He supposed he had an inclination for it because he had made it two centuries without drowning, but he didn’t often think about it.Today there was no other option, however. It was hot and he felt like he was melting, quite literally. The morning had brought sweater weather, but now it was nothing short of sweltering and Yongguk couldn’t handle it.

Unfortunately, his bedroom was across campus and he wasn’t sure that he’d make it that far. His face was flushed and shiny and worst of all, red. His skin was beyond fair by nature, but he had never done a very good job of protecting it. Doing himself a favor, he veered to the right, following a shaded path down to the lake. Dropping his school bag to the left, he tugged his sweater over his head, revealing a tattooed chest, arm and back; but it wasn’t long before his pants went, too. He wasn’t particularly shy with his body — especially when he though he was alone. He decided to endure the pain of wet underwear before he dove in, creating a splash and a ripple in his wake, completely unaware that he was not alone due to how focused he had been on cooling down.

As she came up just to float on the clear water, the mermaid had gasped when she suddenly felt ripples in the water. Hweji then hid in the water for a moment before peeking out of the water just a bit. Her eyes the only thing out of the water for now to see if the thing that made the ripples would come up.

She couldn't quite see what or who it was from where she was so Hweji had dived down again before swimming over to where the splash was. When she did see who it was it was sudden and she screamed under water before coming up to the surface. It was then a laugh had came from her and a bright smile. "Oh my goodness! You had scared me!~"

"Of course, I am!" Nevaeh shook off the thought and responded back to the female with a small smile. "All right. Let’s go to Tuscany! But one more thing I have to know. What’s your diet though?" the pixie slightly titled her head to the side, eyes side glancing Hweji. "Do you have allergies?"

"Ah--" When asked about her diet she smiled and ran fingers through her hair. "I mostly eat fish! I don't eat meat but I will if I really have to." It was a good thing it hasn't come to that point where she had to.

Soggy Plants Soggy Pants || Hweji & Sandeul

Sandeul giggled at the girl’s response, finding it cute how many questions she was asking. He had around the same amount of questions for her too! He had never met a mermaid before! Well he did… Once, but he was way too young to remember. “Yes, and yes, and also yes!” He nodded.

"And so you’re a mermaid, you can transform into a mermaid like with a fin? Can you breathe underwater? What’s it like? Can you talk to fish? Are they nice? What about sea plants like kelp and stuff? I can talk to plants! I really wanna talk to sea plants!" The Diwata was full of excitement. He looked at the fort with Bone Crusher safely within the walls and laughed.

"Well I wanted to spend the last couple weeks of summer going to the beach! I haven’t been to the beach this year and I wanted to go at least once! Bone Crusher doesn’t really like the beach because he can’t play in the waves," He frowned and looked at his plant friend who honestly didn’t look too upset about not being with them. But then again how does a plant look sad?

"Oh yes, I am a mermaid~ For me I have gills!" Hweji said as she pointed down to her ribcage, her gills right now were only a bit visible but once she gets into the water they'll be much more visible. "I can talk to some water mammals but others not so much--" Only because she eats them rather than talks to them but she wasn't going to change that. "Oh? What do you and plants usually talk about? That seems really interesting~!"

The mermaid hummed as she continued to make the sand castle and puffed her cheeks out just a bit. "Poor Bone Crusher. Well, I'm sure he'll be fine-- We'll have fun for him?" She giggled at the thought only to rest a bit from the sand castle to put sand on her legs.

"MmHm," Kai nodded in agreement, "A little weekend trip sounds like it would be fun! Then you wouldn’t be rushing to get stuff done in a certain time, so you could enjoy it better too." He looked up when the waiter brought their menu and when he heard an accent as the waiter spoke, much like his own accent, he asked tentatively if he was Japanese… And as soon as he got an affirmative he was off, talking in his native language and going a mile a minute thanks to his excitement. He couldn’t help but be excited when he got to talk to someone who was Japanese as well, not only was he able to speak his mind more easily, but it was just exciting to talk to someone who had made the same journey he had! Well… Kind of. In theory. Soon enough though he slowed down and the waiter was finally able to get his order instead, as well as Hweji’s.

"We should go to my realm! I mean, on the surface anyway. I don't think you'd be able to survive down in the ocean." She hummed before giggling at what she saw. How interesting hearing the male's native tongue and how excited he seemed to be now that he had found someone that could also speak the same. Despite not knowing what they were saying, she had just smiled toward him. Once he had slowed down and finally got his order down, Hweji had done the same and had given the menus back to the waiter. "That was fun listening to~"

The Night is Ours || Hweji & Hyorin

"Hmm.. It doesn’t. I’m cold blooded so I don’t tend to get any effects from the sun unless it hits me directly.. I guess I’m lucky in that way." The vampire laughed as the girl’s fingers slipped over her earrings, her gaze dropping over her body for a split second. "I wouldn’t worry about it. I don’t tend on touching your ears so it’s fine. It’d only be a problem if I were planning to drink from you." She flashed the girl a wicked smile before dropping her gaze to her waist is if she were actually trying to stare through her clothing to the gills she had hidden beneath them. "Oh, interesting. And tell me, do you instantly transform with the touch of water or can you control it?" She pursed her lips in thought while the club came into view, a smile pulling on her lips as she caught the mermaids hand in her’s to lead her inside. "Oh yes, you so have to tell me about the men. I hear so little about mermen." She laughed.

"It'd be kinda weird if you suddenly started to touch my ears, huh?~" Hweji laughed and as she watched the girl's gaze go down to where her gills would be, she smiled and rubbed the back of her neck. "I transform somewhat instantly. It does take me a moment once my whole body is under water. When I come up it's usually after I'm done transforming~" It was also to keep her safe if anyone had wanted to try and capture her on land. If there was a large mass of water nearby she could just dive in and not come up until after they leave. Once inside of the club, the mermaid had rubbed at her ears and puffed her cheeks out but had followed the vampire as she kept a hold of her hand. "I don't know about other mermen but I know ours are quite handsome. It might just be mermen from saltwater that are like that because our sweetwater mermen are quite attractive." Well, to other mermaids probably. To her they were just friends at most especially because her brother was so protective about who she was to see.

The demon sat in line, curled in a jacket with empty paper cups that once contained coffee around him. Wrappers of candybars pushed into the small make-shift garbage bins. He was cold and the night was still long. He had been here since before midnight and it was now three in the morning. For such a ridiculous time it was awfully busy around him. People sitting in line with him were chatting, snoring or gaming on their handheld gaming consoles, using back up batteries to fuel their little devices to last throughout the night.

This night the new Pokémon game was released and the young demon was very excited, even if you wouldn’t say that now as he sat on the ground shivering and yawning. He had not gotten much sleep and had been here all alone for the past hours. He had not even asked his fiance to join him here, knowing his lover would have either left after ten minutes or ended up killing a fellow-Pokemon fan (both options were not exactly desirable).

So when Minwoo saw a girl that looked vaguely familiar he took the chance immediately to talk to her, someone, and greet her. “Hey, you go to Insolitus too, right?”

Hweji had been sitting down with some energy drinks next to her, a pillow, and her game in hand. She didn't mind sitting by herself for the night as long as she was able to get her game. Though, thinking about how long the line was she honestly didn't expect it to be as long as it was now. At least she was fairly close to the front.

The mermaid had been running through her Pokemon Y just to level up some of the pokemon she had in her team. When someone suddenly started to talk to her after hours of being quiet in line, she had turned to look at the boy only to smile a bit, nodding. "Uh huh!" Now that she was actually looking at the male, she did recognize him from the school even if they hadn't talked before. " Did no one want to come with you to wait for the game?" She asked and giggled since she was on the same boat.

Soggy Plants Soggy Pants || Hweji & Sandeul

The Diwata’s eyes lit up when the girl invited him to make sand castles with her. He definitely made the right choice to go to the beach alone that weekend as his mini-heartbreak with Melanie had made him somewhat solemn the past couple of days. He happily plopped his silly lil’ plant tush down next to the nice girl and showed her his bucket full of water and wet sand.

"Yea I wanna help! I’m Sandeul, but all my friends call me Ducky! It’s nice to meet you! You go to Insolitus too, right?" He was sure that the girl was a student at Insolitus, but asked just to make sure. "I’m a plant!" He said, a bit too enthusiastically. By now he had gotten used to just telling people what he was. At home his parents definitely forbid him to tell anyone about them and their connection to plants, but at school it was safe to be a little non-human. "I have a plant friend named Bone Crusher, he’s a venus flytrap, but he doesn’t really like waves." Sandeul pointed behind them at the little fort he had built with one of Bone Crusher’s mouths sticking up over the wall. It was like a reversed Attack on Titan wall, only no titans, just a venus flytrap.

"So are you a water type creature?"

The boy was absolutely adorable with how he was right now. It was good though, since she would have rather have someone like him playing with her than someone serious. "Sandeul, huh? And Ducky is a great nickname!" The mermaid said happily before placing the bucket of dry sand in between them. Hearing what the male was made her smile a bit. That was something she hadn't heard since coming to the academy. It was nice meeting a new creature.

"Wow, you're a plant? So can you transform into one and stuff? Does that mean you like the sun too?" Hweji asked all these questions before blushing a bit at forgetting to introduce herself. "Oh goodness, excuse me-- I'm Hweji~ And yes, I'm a mermaid. It's kinda neat~" She giggled as she looked over at the fort afterwards, waving toward the plant even though she knew she wouldn't get a reaction.

"So, Ducky? What brings you to the beach today?" The mermaid asked as she started to get a base for their sand castle down.

The Night is Ours || Hweji & Hyorin

"That I will." Hyolyn chimed in, tilting her head slightly to look over to her new friend while they walked closely together, her lips pursing in thought while questions over the mermaids species began to flow through her mind. "I can’t go outside unless it’s very overcast and even then I have to be wrapped up to block out the sun. It’s a pain in the ass so I usually just go out after the sun sets. It’s actually easy for me to tell what’s silver and what’s not. Like your earrings, those are silver. If I were to touch them my skin would burn and melt off." It wasn’t a very pretty image but Hyolyn didn’t exactly have a filter when it came to such things so instead she continued to speak, her words changing to direct more questions to the mermaid. "So are you flat footed? I heard that mermaids are flat footed because of their fins.. Do you have gills? Also, I heard that the mermen are ugly, scaled creatures that resemble pigs more then humans, is that true too?"

"Won't it get hot if you wear so much clothing?" Hweji asked, a bit worried if it can fatigue creatures of the night. She's sure it doesn't but it doesn't hurt to ask. Her hand had went up to her earrings and had felt them before brings her hand back down to her side, smiling a bit at the explanation. "Well, that doesn't sound very pleasant at all-- When we hang out again I'll try not to have any silver on me~" At the question about her feet she had looked down at them before looking over at the girl, her smile still as bright and happy as before. "I don't think so. I have a normal arch I think-- Maybe my tail is weird to mermaids? And my gills are along my ribcage but are really noticeable once I'm in my other form." She hummed happily, soon seeing that they had reached that club the female was talking about. "This is the club right? Once we're inside I'll tell you about how males are and such~"

"Oh yeah, it would be so cool to find some cool new places to explore together! We should go to one of the other realms sometime, one of the nice un-dangerous ones." He then giggled when she said she never made sense, "You too huh? There’s nothing wrong with it, we’re just too awesome for everyone else to keep up!" he laughed, though he was obviously joking. Then he made himself busy looking around the restaurant curiously as he found a place to sit, "I wonder if any of the workers here know Japanese too?"

"Oooooh going to other realms sounds like a lot of fun! I think we'd have to go and stay for a weekend or something if we were gonna do that." Hweji mused happily only to go and sit down. "After all, there's only so much you can do in one day!" It was then that one of the waiters brought menus for the two of them. "I'm sure they'll talk to you in Japanese if you do it first." She told the other and shrugged her shoulders, giggling softly as she looked through what the place had and whether or not she should get something different from what she usually had.

"Ah, cheap is good. If it’s cheap and tasty, then it really must be the perfect place," he giggled, smiling and nodding. "Oooh, that sounds wonderful too! I love just wandering around looking at places, you can always find the coolest spots if you really look!" he said enthusiastically. "Or I guess, if you really wander…. Let yourself see everything rather than something specific! Does that even make sense?" He pouted a bit to himself, sighing. He was pretty sure he didn’t make sense, like, a lot of the time.

"It really is perfect! I love it~" Hweji mused happily and had continued to walk toward the restaurant. "Maybe we'll find some really cool places and we can check them out together every so often!" She suggested and as they made it to the sushi place, she opened the door and had walked in with the boy. "Don't worry about making sense around me, some people say I never make sense~"

"Mmm, sushi," Kai hummed, smiling at the thought of the food originally from his native country. "I’m perfectly happy with that! It’s been a while since I ate that, I remember back where I used to live, it was a real treat for me!" Mainly because it wasn’t often he had been given anything other than rice or miso soup, but sushi had been one of those things that would pop up occasionally and he would always savor it. "Do you know of anyplace good around here? I don’t know much about the shops in the city!"

"Well, it's going to be a treat for the both of us!~" She smiled happily and clasped her hands together. "I know there's one nearby here that's really good! And it's cheap too~" Hweji said as she started walking toward thte place she was talking about, motioning the boy to follow her. "I don't know much about the shops here either so maybe after we eat we can look around, yeah?~"

"Yeah, they do!" Kai said enthusiastically, smiling happily at her. Even though this was true, he still felt flattered that Hweji had thought to ask HIM of all people - he was still getting used to this whole friend thing, even after a couple months of being here. "So where should we go? Were you thinking of any place in particular? I’m pretty happy with anything!"

Hweji had continued smiling happily, glad that the boy had taken up her offer to hang out. She just couldn't spend a day without doing something fun with someone. "Well, I was thinking we could go for sushi! I love fish~" She usually ate fish since that was what she ate before coming here. Maybe that would change but for now she'd continue eating what she ate before.
