A night out and about in the city. It wasn’t anything special, and there wasn’t any real reason for her to be out here this late, but she had been so restless. Ever since she’d taken a new form of energy inside her body, it seemed like her need to keep moving around had grown significantly. Especially around 8pm until around midnight. While everyone was finishing up their dinner or heading back to the dorms to turn in for the night, Chaerin was always fidgety. Usually she would have gone out for a night flight around the academy, but today she’d felt more inclined to keep her feet on the ground. Who knew if her flying around would lead to unwanted attention.
She took a left turn at the movie theatre and its busy front entrances; people were clamoring in line for tickets to the newest releases. Instead of joining them, she kept walking and made her way past several small restaurants all seemingly busy with normal people. Human students who were having fun with their friends, couples on dates, and even a few elderly men and women congregating in small groups for whatever old people talked about around a dinner table. It must have been nice, to not have to worry about who you are.
Heaving a small sigh, the dark angel turned her eyes away from the friendly atmosphere that glowed from the restaurant windows and decided on somewhere she wanted to go instead of just wandering. Nearby there was a park, one with small fountains in the pavement that shot water out periodically. She’d been there once with Yoseob, a long time ago. As she clacked her way past a group of what looked like suspicious characters, there was an undeniable wolf-whistle that followed her as walked by. Chaerin held back a snort, instead just continuing on her way without a glance back. They weren’t following her anyway. A good thing too, because she could have stuck her high heel up their asses as quickly as they could reach for her arm.
