How to bite a chocolate cup without failing? 🤔
🤣
"You know the sun is in your eyes." All Hedwig eyes from 2014 Broadway production (including the 1st national tour). Could you recognize each one of them? Which is your favorite?

I think there’s something really special about Hedwig. For me, the thesis of that is self-acceptance. Hedwig is about Hansel, who doesn’t know who he is. By the end of that show, he has found his other half inside of himself. He has always been there. And I think that that message of self-acceptance and self-completion is a really beautiful message. It’s a hard lesson to teach. It’s something I think that just has to be sort of discovered, but remember that you are enough and that you don’t need another half to complete you. That you are complete. That type of, like, self-acceptance and self-empowerment and trusting your instincts I think is something that is a huge key to every kind of success.

My personal hero once said that three years and an official ass-kicking makes someone a New Yorker. An ass-kicking? I almost got kicked out from this country without my diploma! After living in this special city for three years, I've already considered myself as a New Yorker. But today is the day to say goodbye to this title. I am moving to Boston today. Even though I always know I will leave here sooner or later, I always hope it will be later. I intentionally held my big decision until late April. And now, it's the time to change. The uncertainty is exciting but scary at the same time. However, that's how we grow up. Farewell, the Big Apple. Thanks everyone I met here and everything happened here. I wouldn't be the same person without all of these. My grad school, HIMYM friends, Kunqu society, theater friends, and the most important, Hedwig. Sometimes I keep moving forward. I am afraid I will cry if I stop.
How long can you wear a pair of same shoes? Let #FashionBoyJCM tell you the answer. At least 19 years! #HeWillHateMe
JCM talked about how he and his cast felt about the fame.
“You’re gonna crash. A few days from now, you’re gonna feel lower than you have ever felt.”

"And looking through one eye. "
JCM made a joke about his burp during the show. He also mentioned something about a man died between the Berlin Wall, which is one of the inspirations for Hedwig.
JCM told a story about tiger sharks, which he used during Westbeth days. The audience laughed so hard because Lena cannot help laughing on the stage after JCM’s story.
One of Andrew Rannells’ best shows on Broadway as Hedwig.
Even his voice is more theatrical than Rock & Roll, I still love how he interpreted this song.
