âIâm thinking I should have avoided this place, though.â She said, looking around and realising how uncharactistically busy it was. âGiven the date.â Odessaâs eyes followed Brianaâs purse as she placed it on the counter, before flickering back to her. Wasnât she just leaving? The next comment she certainly hadnât been expecting. She wouldnât have been saying that a few weeks ago, that was for sure. Odessa found herself relieved that she hadnât bumped into her then. Not that she bumped into many people at all, having not left her room much. She was sure her chest had tightened slightly at the comment â funny how even after all these years, Odessa still felt something for her. âThanks.â She smiled, genuinely, her eyes moving up and down the brunette again. âSo do you.â She hesitated a moment, before: âMeeting someone?â
âMaybe?â Though Briana couldnât help but let her thoughts wander, if Odessa had then she wouldnât have had the chance to see her again. It had been a while since the Hufflepuff had actually managed to get the other witch to partake in a conversation with her, this had probably been the most the two of them had spoken in over a year. âThough Iâm not sure youâve ever let others push you away from doing or going where you want. I donât see how a date should be much different.â She smirked finding herself teasing the witch, though not completely able to meet her eyes. Her exâs question had the smile falling from her lips and a blush to sweep across her cheeks. âNo.â The reply fell from her lips with a shake of her head. âAt least not anymore.â
