—-; {Komaeda scrunched up his face in discomfort as he attempted to straighten his back without assistance. He can now definitely feel the pain setting in. He almost let out a small gasp upon feeling a hand on his shoulder, and another hand gripping one of his own. He took a glance at the person helping him out, his eyebrows etched together in slight pain.}
—-; “Th-Thank you… I can feel it getting worse.”
—-; {He probably made the other more worries with that comment. He gritted his teeth, and hissed through them with his eyes squeezed shut. Damn, this really hurts now!}
When the other’s pain seems to exacerbate, Hajime feels a deep sense of guilt fester in the pit of his stomach, his heart dropping at the other’s groans of discontent. He hadn’t thought he had kicked the ball that hard, but Hajime was tall and muscular, and he supposed he didn’t really have much of a handle on his own strength.
“ Hey— It’ll be okay, I promise. “ He reassures carefully, very cautiously letting his hand slide down to the other’s bruising back, trying to soothe the spot with calm, circular motions. He guides Komaeda off the field in the meantime, not walking too quickly in order to put less strain on his new companion.
“ Again, I’m so sorry. My name’s Hajime by the way... What’s yours? “
continued from here : { x } // @corruptedxclever
Hajime stood over him for some time, simply staring in near disbelief at what had happened. Missing the goals and sending the ball right into someone else’s body was quite out of character for him, but it was hard to parse what had really caused it. All he knew was that he was still standing over this person looking quite dumbfounded when he should be trying to help him stand up.
He jerks into action suddenly, lowering himself onto the ground and resting a hand on Komaeda’s shoulder, grasping one of his hands with Hajime’s own. His grip was gentle but firm, squeezing with genuine concern written over his face.
“ Here, let me help you stand. And I can help you over to the infirmary, I doubt anything’s broken or seriously hurt but... We should still check. “ He offers, leaving his ball abandoned for now. All that mattered was making it up to this stranger, even if he seemed just a little reluctant to be helped.

Chiaki, of course, blushes when he starts to laugh at her for struggling, dipping her head down and silently accepting his assistance through the window.
“ No… I don’t really do a lot of scaling houses and shimming through windows, no… ” she murmurs indistinctly – perhaps even indignantly – while righting herself and adjusting her balance to the wobbly bookshelf, which thankfully isn’t so high up that it causes her to panic. Taking his delicate hand, she’s able to slide to the dusty floor with a dainty huff as she lands. Brushing off her trousers, Chiaki finally sighs with a slight smile, “ Yes – I’m okay. Thank you… Hajime. ”
She moves to take her pink kitty bag from the boy in her body, pulling the drawstring to open it up; she cringes slightly at the wild mess of belongings stuffed inside. Quick to locate her zipper pouch of makeup and brushes, however, Chiaki removes it and gestures for Hajime to find somewhere to sit.
“ Well, it can sometimes take awhile, but since I’m not doing it on myself I think I can speed up the process by a fair margin…. And, uh, well… that’s up for you to decide, I guess. It doesn’t for me, but I’ve been wearing makeup for… many years. ” She’s squirted two differently colored gels out onto the side of one hand – something bluish-clear and the other a skin tone; Chiaki gestures again, asking, “ Can you push up your – uh, my – bangs, please? ”
As Chiaki spoke, Hajime was admittedly a bit distracted by the alien-looking substances she was supposedly going to put on his face. All in all, it didn’t look too upsetting, though he’s still hesitant as he lifts a hand and awkwardly sweeps the hair out of his face. Almost instinctively however, he shuts his eyes and leans in close, anticipating the moment the makeup hit his skin.
And... When it did, it felt... Cold. Colder than he thought it would. He winces at first, just a little, before letting his face relax once more.
“ So this is something you do every day? Should I be taking notes..? “ He sure hoped not. Hajime wasn’t entirely uncoordinated, but asking him to suddenly learn how to do makeup was quite a stretch. If it came to that though, he supposes he’d just have to figure it out.
The one positive part of this whole arrangement was that this actually felt quite nice. Chiaki was gentle, even in a weird new body, and he found a sudden appreciation for her kindness.
“ Hey, I just wanna say that I’m glad. If I had to switch bodies with anyone... I’m kinda glad it was with you now. You’re a lot more... Sensible, and calm about it all. “ He remarks with the smallest of blushes, hoping his words didn’t come across too sappy or lame. He really meant it, despite how he had acted towards her earlier.
synthxsizxr:
Though Chiaki is at first relieved by Hajime’s presence, the secure feeling gradually becomes sour as he starts searching for their perfect entrance into the abandoned shack. Many times, she must stop herself from scolding him for doing something out of character – it’s not as if anyone’s watching, though that’s a paranoia that certainly consumes Chiaki, and his actions must be done for them to complete what they’d set out to do in the first place.
Still… she mourns her perfect soft pink manicure. And her pristine school uniform. And her perfect, unscathed rosy skin.
(For a second, even, she’s embarrassed for having seen up her own skirt while Hajime was climbing, and only realizes in retrospect how silly that was.)
“ U-um… ” Chiaki’s now-hazel eyes look hesitantly up at her own smiling face peeking through the window. She shuffles her feet and glances down at the loafers on them below, stained already with grass and mud. With a glance back up, she mumbles, “ Okay, I’m coming… ”
She prays quickly to whomever benevolent might be listening before gripping onto an offset, rust red brick. When she tugs herself up, though, Chiaki is surprised – she’s never had such great upper body strength before, making pulling her body up toward the window a breeze. Hajime certainly wasn’t a bodybuilder, but even though she still felt awkward in his body, she couldn’t deny that his natural masculine strength was a plus.
…She flops about ungracefully like a fish out of water trying to pull herself through the window, though. She’s lost some of that princess-like poise by turning into Hajime, it seems.
“ Ah…! Um! Umf– A little help, please…! ”
Hajime slips back and kneels on the bookcase he was currently perched on, giving Chiaki enough room to pull herself past the window. But before she could get her lower half through, she seemed to get a little... Stuck. Hajime just stares for a moment, blinking in surprise and trying (and failing) to repress his laughter. He chuckles a little at first, and then a bit more before finally catching himself and helping her out.
“ Sorry, sorry... You’re probably not used to stuff like this, huh? “ He offers in sympathy, holding very little awkwardness in the way he had to handle his own body.
Once they were both safely inside, Hajime pulls the window mostly shut with a little bit of effort before turning back to Chiaki. “ ... You okay? “ He asks, mostly to make sure that she wasn’t hurt, despite being in a slightly more sturdy body.
He hops down off the bookshelves and lands on the ground with a soft thud, grunting a little-- Something that was very out of character for Chiaki. Considering her earlier flop with getting in the window, he’s sure to offer a hand now to get her onto the floor safely, still smiling confidently at her.
At least, until he remembered why they were here in the first place. As soon as they were settled here, Hajime would be held against his will and covered in uncomfortable, sticky makeup.
“ So, uh.. Chiaki... This isn’t gonna take too long right? Or, um, feel weird? “

💼 - My muse is attending HPA as a Main Course student
If there was one thing that all new students could agree with, it was the fact that mid-year transfers were awkward.
There was nothing more uncomfortable than hanging around outside your classroom, talking to some overly friendly office staff about how well you’re going to fit in, or how excited we are to have you. Sure, this school had been Hajime’s dream for god knows how long, but now that he was here, the fear of stumbling into his classroom and permanently making a fool of himself heavily outweighed the pleasure of actually being able to attend his dream school.
Before he was really ready to be thrust upon his soon-to-be classmates, he was called upon by his new teacher, beckoned into the room to introduce himself.
Here goes nothing, he thought.
Hajime steps into the room sheepishly and immediately looks around, eyes scanning over each person’s face. He lets the teacher do most of the work in introducing him, only offering a wave and a slightly uncomfortable smile when the metaphorical baton was passed to him.
His seat was beside one of the more interesting looking students, one that looked oddly familiar, but then again not at all. He can’t decide whether or not to introduce himself, offering a meek glance in his direction for the time being.

💼 - My muse is attending HPA as a Main Course student
When Hajime had thought about Hope’s Peak Academy and attending the infamous school, he had imagined that each hour would be a fantastic journey to exercise and nurture his talent. He was surprised to find however that it was a lot like any other regular school. Lessons were not mandatory, but they were taught as they would be anywhere else, with the chance to spend your free time honing your skills and taking on opportunities that would lead you to a career one day. So when Hajime was finally able to get out of the classroom and get himself onto the soccer field, he was overjoyed. It was a simple, relaxed excitement, but ultimately, he was happy.
Others, on the other hand, were not. Hajime had only been running around for a few minutes, stretching out his limbs and getting back into the sport he was supposedly known best for, when a somewhat off kick had the ball hurtling towards someone’s back, smacking them right where it would bruise the worst. Hajime, of course, was mortified. He was only new here, and creating a bad impression wasn’t the kind of start he was looking for.
He jogs over and picks up the ball that had rebounded from one of the other students, face twisted with dismay.
“ I’m so sorry, are you alright..? “

“ Good morning! …Good morning… Good mooooorning. Good morning. Mornin’. Moooooorn. Goooooood. Mmmmmm. ”
No matter what Chiaki does, it’s just impossible to adjust to Hajime’s voice coming from her mouth. She mumbles to herself on her way into the Reserve Course wing, trying the new lower register properly on for size, and finding it… unnatural. Thankfully, Hajime has grown past the voice-cracking stage of puberty, which means the idol in his body could never reach high notes if she tried – but that means that she’ll really have to practice not using her usual cutesy tone and slang while acting as him.
On the other hand, unlike Hajime, Chiaki’s always been mindful of what she says and does, almost to a fault. Anyone that bothers her as she walks with a quick hello or some other greeting receives a very in character response, usually a passive nod of the head; a challenge presents itself when a boy comes up to her side frantically asking about last night’s homework, but thankfully, it’s only a sheet of math problems that Chiaki understands.
That said, they’re difficult math problems. She never knew Hajime was such an advanced student… or, perhaps, all Reserve courses were cursed with such rigor?
Eventually, she’s able to break away from the crowd of socializing peers and sneak behind a bit of fence; the aforementioned shack Chiaki had spotted while she was walking, and it seemed to only be a few meters from the edge of the schoolyard, though it was somewhat disguised behind decorative bushes. She approaches, of course, but becomes more apprehensive of the small, shady building with each step.
Rule-breaking is one of her biggest fears, and trespassing on forbidden school property is certainly a rule she’s breaking. Not only that, but the little derelict shack… almost looks scary. At least, scary, because she’s alone.
With a tight grip on the strap of Hajime’s schoolbag, Chiaki turns her head to look back and in both directions, hoping her newfound height will give her a well enough vantage point to spot her own lilac head of hair approaching the shack.
Hajime— Or, Chiaki takes one deep breath to prepare himself to leave her room again, finding some solace in the quiet of her dorm room. He has all he needs (he thinks) and stands up straight before swinging the door open. It wasn’t too bad, there weren’t hordes of people hanging around as it grew later in the morning, and most people hanging around seemed more interested in their own affairs than Chiaki’s. Good. This was good, he would be able to slip away unnoticed then. For Chiaki, approaching their agreed meeting place in Hajime’s body would be kind of odd, but not too significant. Hajime being in Chiaki’s body however, it was definitely strange. Stranger than most would accept, he’s sure.
For that reason, he doesn’t waste any time. He’s quick, not rushed, but quick enough to weave amongst his fellow students without stopping for much more than a returned hello in her now slightly monotonous voice. As he grows nearer and nearer to his destination, the people start to thin out much more, and before he knew it, he was able to duck away past a particularly pretty garden display and make his way out towards the older, broken building.
Out of the eye of Chiaki’s classmates, Hajime picks up into a bit of a jog, knowing that she’s likely been waiting for him at this point. It didn’t seem right to leave a girl, especially a seemingly sheltered one, in such a risky location for too long. When he finally spots her hanging about, looking just about as anxious as he imagined, he waves to grab her attention and slows into a calm stride.
“ Chiaki, sorry— I got caught up with some of your friends. “
He apologises gently, still finding himself looking her, or really himself over. “ We shouldn’t waste too much time standing around... Here, follow me. “ He thinks back to the window he had mentioned earlier, funnelling all his focus into finding them some privacy before they got caught.
He eyes each window suspiciously, face twisting in concentration. In their silence, he looks to the ground and scoops up the remnants of a stick, a somewhat sturdy chunk of wood that he felt would do just right. With a quiet grunt, he throws it at one of the windows, grinning when he sees it dislodge a bit. “ There— That’s the one. I’ll go first. “
Hajime turns to look at Chiaki again, hoping she had no qualms with climbing through little windows and getting a little bit dirty. With a quick look over the wall in front of him, he breathes in and lifts his foot to push against one of the bricks that had been knocked in, enough to wedge his toes there and give him a vantage point to push himself up. He hoped Chiaki didn’t mind the prospect of chipped nails, because there was no way they were coming out unscathed from this. Hajime wasn’t particularly gentle either, gripping the bricks up higher with too much roughness.
He was able to pull himself up though, pushing on the window a few times before just giving up and forcing it in with his elbow. Chiaki wasn’t quite as strong as he had hoped, but for her physique, he felt actually quite... Nimble. Climbing the wall had been a breeze, and without lanky limbs to hold him back he was easily able to tug himself into the half-open window frame, onto the stacked up equipment inside.
He disappeared only for a moment before poking the upper half of his body out, looking pretty happy with himself.
“ Alright, it’s safe! Now you. “

🐶 - My muse is smuggling a pet on campus
Hajime loved dogs. Like, really loved dogs. It wasn’t to say he was a dog person over a cat person, because he thought cats were pretty neat too, but damn did he love dogs. So much so, that he found himself in a bit of a bind when he was walking to school that morning, and found an abandoned little pup sitting all by himself beside the convenience store he passed on his way each day. There was no way he could leave it just sitting there, looking up at him with bashful but yearning eyes, big and brown and begging for a home.
So, he took the pup with him. Looked like some kind of beagle-type dog, cute and floppy with brown patches littering it’s small body. He didn’t have a clue how he would look after the poor thing, but smuggled it onto campus regardless in hopes that he would be able to hide it until that afternoon when he could bring it home and properly take care of it. That is, if his parents even allowed him the pet.
He thanked his choice to wear an extra sweater beneath his jacket that day, and though it looked horribly suspicious to have the rather large lump wiggling at his chest, no one seemed to really ask questions. He was able to nearly get away, find somewhere private to take care of the dog when he runs into Chiaki, who thankfully wasn’t accompanied by a band of boisterous followers.
What would she say..? Hajime lifts his hand to wave nonchalantly, but has to quickly bring it back to his stomach to support the squirming dog.
“ Hey. Yo, Chiaki. H..How are you today? “ Just play it cool, Hajime. Play it cool.

Summers were warm. As, y’know, they typically were. And because of that, Hajime had decided to spend his afternoon resting rather than sitting through boring classes in the sweltering heat. It probably wasn’t good practice to skip class, but one time wouldn’t hurt, right?
Either way, he figures it would be a bit obvious if he settled himself at his usual spot, and so instead heads for somewhere a little more inconspicuous. No one knew about this spot, and even Hajime had only found it recently himself. It was perfect too– Bathed in just the right amount of sun, with soft, plush grass to lay on. And if he positioned his bag just right, it made a pretty comfortable pillow.
He was excited, to say the least.
But, alas. The closer he got, he was able to realise that someone else knew about his secret spot too. At first, he was a little bit annoyed. He had spent ages looking for somewhere just right, where it was warm in the crisp morning and cool in the hot afternoon. As he grows nearer though, he notices that the person who had thieved his nice spot was none other than HPA’s student idol, Chiaki Nanami.
And she was asleep there.
Hajime pauses before her, shifting his weight between both feet before deciding to sit down, a soft thump sounding as he fell to his rear. The newfound shade of the tree hanging over them was much appreciated, and he lets out a sigh of relief before wiping his brow. Was this awkward? It felt a little awkward, as though he was waiting for her to wake up. It’s not like anyone would see, but it still left Hajime feeling slightly uncomfortable.
Carefully he stretches out his legs and leans back on his elbows, letting out a soft hum. This was pretty nice, he decided, even if his companion was fast asleep.

SYMBOL STARTERS: NAP EDITION
🚪- Your muse finds mine napping on the floor
Hajime was… Surprised? Weirded out? Uncomfortable..? Any one of those to be honest. He had been escorted on campus in order to check out a book his friend had told him about, now left alone and having made quite the discovery. He really wished he had the companionship of his main course friend, because he was too shocked to really know what to do about this person just laying there, clearly quite comfortable.
All he had wanted was a book. Not some weird fanfiction-esque meeting with a random girl.
Could he maybe step over her..? Around her? He had spotted the book before he even noticed her there, sad to find that it was right above her head. What was he meant to do, act as though she wasn’t there and take the book anyway? No matter which way he looked at it, it would be awkward and weird if she woke up to catch him hanging over her, and he was definitely overthinking it by this point.
With very little resolve, Hajime decides to throw caution to the wind, taking a quick, sharp breath as he stepped over to her. He reaches down and skims his fingers over the books to relocate the one he wanted before hooking his fingers into it’s spine and tugging roughly.
These books were wedged together more tightly than he had thought.
He tries again, and the second time, it comes free! But… His grip had been lazy, and the book tumbles out, bumping the sleeping girl right on the crown of her head. And believe me, Hajime was positively mortified.
As the literature clutters onto the floor and the girl seems to groan and stir in confusion, Hajime’s palms are already whipped onto his mouth, eyes wide with horror.
“ Fuck, I am so sorry– I, uh.. “ He stumbles over his words liberally, sliding his hand up to cover his eyes.
“ I’m the worlds biggest idiot, I’m so, so sorry… “
