I wonder what Crispin’s and saint Alicent’s stans think would happen if Cole made Alicent the same offer he made to Rhaenyra of running away to sell oranges. Do they think that someone as power hungry as Alicent would say yes and leave her position as Queen to leave with a nobody like Criston Cole (who is nothing more than her lapdog)? Even if he offered to take her children with them she would refuse, because Alicent Hightower would never settle for a simple life.

And they expect Rhaenyra (who btw never made any promises to him) to give up her entire life, family and future to run away with a man she doesn’t love just because she slept with him? And on top of that they claim that she abused him? As if Cole hadn’t climbed on the bed of a drunk young princess of his own free will. If anything, he is the one who took advantage of her. Rhaenyra raised Criston Cole from nothing. He owes her everything he is and everything he has. And how did he repays her? By betraying her, joining her enemies and conspiring against her for the rest of his life. And all because she said NO to him. He is the perfect example of toxic behavior.

I wonder if these people who defend him so fiercely would leave their entire lives behind to run away with the first person they have a one night stand with.
