Tea and crochet, beef and ale hotpot in the oven, snow out the window, radio on.
What a hyggelig day!
How do you incorporate hygge in the summer? Seems like more of winter-thing!
I think the true meaning of hygge - of being present in the moment, and feelings of contentment and wellbeing - is still relevant in summer. Fresh flowers. Outside dinners with good food and friends. Summer dresses. Cold drinks on a hot day. Lazy mornings lying in the sun. Bare feet on cool grass. Iced tea. Hygge is a feeling, not a season, and can essentially be created by living in the moment and indulging in things that make you happy and snuggly on the inside.
