One pound of rice is maybe a dollar

Fresh broccoli is typically 2 bucks per pound

You can buy a 5-pound bag of russet potatoes for 3 dollars (about 60 cents/lb)

12 count eggs are around a dollar

You’re looking at maybe $10 without tax for more than one lunch meal, you could probably get at least 3 meals out of the list above (about $3.33 for each meal). That’s far from expensive.

I personally hate lamb, but, if you have a safeway in your area they often have a “Manager’s special” area where they put discount meats, and I see lamb there a lot.  The last few times I bought some lamb steaks they were like 3-5$ for the package. 

Also if you go later at night, they toss out even more discount meat - at least in my area. Usually 30-50% off.

I hate when people think they can’t eat healthy on a budget.  I do all the time. Some of the healthiest foods are the cheapest. 

This is ESPECIALLY true if you’re on food stamps. I had such healthy shit the brief time I was on foodstamps lol.

Legend of Zelda; Ocarina of Time.

You guys have no idea how much of a massive influence this game had on me as a kid. When I was younger I used to sink absolute hours on this game, riding around, killing enemies and then getting to a point where it used to scare me and just start it all over again. I’m 100% sure that this game fed into my love of horses and I started riding since I wanted to be as cool as link (bless my young soul!).

I also used to draw parts of this game to the extreme, especially Epona :) My dad had to redecorate my bedroom a few times where I would just scrawl jigglypuff and Epona all over the place haha.
