Hello hello, everyone! Here's my answers for this heehhehehe, I'm just procrastinating on working on my fics XD
1. Including WIPs, how many fics have you worked on since January 1st? Original fiction counts too!
Uhhhh, I have....NO Idea lmao. I posted 104 fics this year, but tbh I have so many WIPs that I worked on but haven't finished/posted, so it's probably in 120+
2. How many did you post for other people to read?
104 this year! Which is fricking CRAZY to me! I write too much haha
3. What's something NEW that you tried in a fic?
I've already talked about this before XD But the new thing I've tried this year that I'm most proud of is writing Filipino fic! I'm still not very good at it, and I don't feel confident enough to write a Filipino fic that's over 3k words lol.
4. What piece of media inspired you the most?
Hmm! That's....actually tough. I have a lot of inspirations this year. But I guess it'd be music? Just music in general, I have SO many fics inspired by music haha.
5. How many fandoms did you write for?
I wrote for 4 fandoms this year! Ofc Ace Attorney and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, but also Cherry Magic and an original work for a gift exchange!
6. What ship(s) captured your heart?
Ofc there's my top 3 loves, Franmaya and Klapollo and Narumitsu, but new ships have captured my heart, too! There's of course Asoryuu and Susarei, and Verawocky especially! I've fallen in deep love with Verawocky <3
7. What character(s) captured your heart?
Ryuunosuke and Herlock Sholmes, definitely! World's most baby girl man (Ryuu) and world's most unhinged man (Herlock), I love them both <3
8. Did you write for any new fandoms or ships?
I will not count DGS/TGAA cause it's still part of AA canon lol. BUT!!! I wrote for a new fandom, Cherry Magic! I hope to write more Cherry Magic fic heehhehehe, I have an idea actually 👀👀
9. What fic meant the most to you to write?
Every fic I write means so much to me, but if I HAD to pick, it'd be Ang Araw at ang Dagat. This fic meant so much to me to write because it's my first fic, hell my first STORY, written in Filipino. It was tough to write, but it was cathartic too!
10. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?
Definitley my Klapollo Cherry Magic fic! It was so fun to write, and I was smiling every time I wrote it. I'm very proud of this fic, and it's one of the top 5 fics I'm most proud of this year!
11. What fic was the most satisfying to finish?
Definitely To Win a Phoenix's Heart Again! I worked so hard on this fic, and it's the first multichapter fic over 10 chapters that I finished. I'm just SO proud of this fic, currently it's the fic I'm most proud of.
12. What fic was the most challenging to work on?
Again, that's To Win a Phoenix's Heart Again. It's my first super long fic that wasn't a canon rewrite. Juggling all of the plot elements, the themes, the emotions, it was all so tough! But all that was worth it, I genuinely love that fic.
13. What's the most interesting topic you researched for a fic?
Does research for entire fandoms work? Lol. But it'd be literally EVERYTHING about Meiji Japan and Victorian England for DGS/TGAA. I don't like writing historical settings, but researching, no matter how tiring it is, IS super fun. Even if I end up in a three hour research rabbit hole, lol.
14. What were your shortest and longest fics?
My longest fic was, of course, To Win a Phoenix's Heart Again, which is at 104,718. My shortest fics are all 200, which are Sun Drenched Linen, Waxing Poetics, Miles without an E, Picnic Petals, and Journal Moments!
15. What was on your writing playlist?
Lots of stuff! But mostly Seycara Orchestra for my confessions playlist, and a bunch of 9Lana and Michael Buble and Charlie Puth.
...I have such weird music taste, I am aware lol.
16. Where did you write? Was there a favorite spot?
I'll be fr I mostly write on my bed in the dorm room in college XD So I guess that? Ofc with a nice cup of milk tea <3
17. What’s your favorite title of the year?
That is SO tough. Lemme check my fics lol.
If we're talking about comedic titles, it's tough competition between Miles Edgeworth Sings Karaoke in the Philippines (and Gets Arrested) and A Police Officer and Bailiff’s Guide to Kickstarting a Japanifornian Legal System RPF Fandom on AO3
If we're talking serious, it'd be In Your Selfish World, I Rot So Beautifully Alone
18. Share your favorite opening line
Definitely my Chieffeen Artist/Writer AU, In a Town Called Dallimore!

19. Share your favorite ending line
I'm sorry I keep mentioning this fic lol, but the ending line of To Win a Phoenix’s Heart Again made me cry like a baby lol.
For their love…it surpassed the universe.
20. Share your favorite piece of dialogue
It's pretty long lol so I'm sorry about that, but this exchange in The Universe Is in Our Shaking Hands is one that I'm super proud of!
“See? We can’t just abandon this entire world and let it die. This is bigger than us, entire universes depend on us.”
“But, it’s…it’s not fair.” Miles wailed in despair. “It’s not fair that we have to be miserable just so the universe could survive.”
“I…I know.” Phoenix sighed, his dark as onyx staring at the ground, before they looked up at Miles, determination flickering in them like fire. “But we’ll find a way, Edgeworth. I know it. We’ll find a way to have our happy ending.”
“Well…” Miles laughed softly. “Knowing how determined you get, I have a feeling you’ll find a way.”
“We will find a way.” Phoenix corrected, taking Miles’ hands into his own, a smile on his face. “We’ll find a way, I just know it.”
Miles smiled back. “Yes, we will.”
21. Share the funniest line(s) you wrote this year
Franziska von Karma, Ace…Fanfiction Writer?'s mpreg line, definitely!
Then, Phoenix spoke up. “I do have one question…”
“What is it?” Maya asked.
“Well…” Phoenix held up the paper in his hand, pointing to the margin where Maya had written something. “What the heck is an mpreg?”
Maya and Franziska turned to each other, their eyes both wide.
Oh, fuck.
They needed to leave now.
“Franzy! Whip, NOW!”
22. Did you get frustrated with a fic at some point? What happened and how did you get past it?
Honestly, I don't think I got truly FRUSTRATED while writing a fic. Maybe I'll get tired and promise to do it tomorrow and proceed not to touch it again, but never like full on frustration. Usually when I feel the first ribbons of frustration I just leave the fic alone until I cleared my head.
23. If you had to choose one, what was THE most satisfying writing moment of your year?
Definitely reaching 20k kudoes on my AO3 stats. Does it count as a writing moment? Lol
24. Did you do anything special to celebrate finishing something?
I get myself milk tea if I feel like I deserve it for finishing a fic :3
25. Did you create fanworks other than fic? Show one off!
Art haha, but I'm not showing that off! I'm very bad at art lol.
26. How many fannish events did you take part in? Things like bangs, exchanges, ship weeks, zines, prompt memes, etc. They all count!
I've joined so many AO3 gift exchanges it's not even funny, I've lost count at this point XD. I also joined the @klapollo-minibang and am currently modding the @franmayanarumitsuminibang!
27. Think back on everything you've worked on since January and give yourself a compliment. A real one! Be nice to yourself.
I guess I'd say that I'm proud of how much I've improved as a writer. I can actually finish multi chapters now! Which I'm super proud of myself. Maybe I'm not that bad at this writing thing...
