what's pinkamina like in your AU

Ohhh tysm for askinggg :) so the design & concept for her was created by @clownirc who also works on this au with me! She's a 17 year old girl who feels heavily intertwined with pinkiepie and pinkamena specifically. She sees this character as herself and therefore goes by that name and dresses as she might. Here's some art of her! First one by me and the rest by clownirc.

"While she has a very expressive and outward appearance/style she’s very quiet and monotonous, she almost never talks and when she does it’s barely audible ( it doesn’t help that she’s wearing a pony head that doesn’t have anything to help her voice actually get through ). She has a loving and more energetic side that only really Nina gets to see due to their bond, she loves arts and crafts (she made her entire outfit herself) and collecting ‘vintage’ trinkets along with real-world my little pony merch but where she lives that’s kind of like a luxury find to her LOL. She also likes doing quadrobics often and I think she’s tried to show Nina how to do it."

We ultimately decided on having her be a human that has this fictional character identity because I don't care much for utilizing cartoon creepypastas. They still exist as urban legends and scary stories but most of them aren't "real", per say, like suicide squidward and mickey, those sort of things. Tysm for asking!!!

Are they human? Were they ever human? How long ago, if you have a timeline of some sorts, do you think they joined as proxies for Slenderman?

Veryy good questions yes... ej was likely a human a long time ago. Not that he remembers ever being one. All he remembers is working for zalgo, though he is aware that zalgo is who turned him into what he is today. On the contrary, bloody painter is a human! They just don't have any skin on their face LOL. I havent quite decided if its bloody under there or some other thing but yeah <3

Also i doooo think ej is a pretty old proxy like he's been one for quite a while. Maybe not the earliest one but definitely up there! Bloody painter is relatively newer in general but not super recent. Uhmm i should probably make a timeline though it would be fun!

Hmm i'll take this opportunity to give fun facts about him.. in his natural form he has very 2D physics, he can often appear like a flat shadow on the walls (think prismo or the collector) (they might have been indirect inspos for him yes<3). He also has unlimited access to change his physical form, he can be as tall or wide or flat as he wants. I'd also say he has no true motives besides cause mischief and have fun!! Most of what he does is for his own entertainment LOL

The only thing that genuinely gets on his nerves is Splendorman tbh. The guy is just too happy all the time and frankly it can turn his whole mood sour. He prefers seeing people act crazy and get mad or freak out, it's what makes him laugh the most. I mentioned before he approached Splendorman as a human who wished to take on the role of ringleader at his circus, before revealing his true self and opening a gateway for demonic entities and dark powers to take over. It's what happened to candy pop and her performing partner meat ball

The nefarious drag clowns <3 with Kagekao's power though the two end up being possessed and quite literally becoming their characters, and their performances taking a gruesome and violent turn as a result (meat ball is only like Super vaguely based on a creepypasta story ive seen before but he's an oc atp)

In regards to Splendorman, he's actually fine with what Kagekao's done with the performers, but he does wish he would tone it down at times!

Kagekao has two designs currently, his true form and a "human" disguise

He's pretty similar to Splendorman in terms of personality, although Kagekao has a wider variety of emotions. He is a demon of shadow and light, and loves to spread chaos and trickery. Unbeknownst to Splendorman, Kagekao was hired to work in the circus as a sort of ringleader so Splendorman can have more time to do bts work. The circus quickly becomes one of absolute chaos, demons taking over the current performers (candy pop being one of them!) and magic tricks becoming dark and gruesome.

As for Seedeater..! This was the first design i did for her so it needs some tweaking but she still mostly looks like this vvv

I dont have a ton going for her currently, but she does live in the mansion and is very close with eyeless jack, the two sharing methods of communication, and finding comfort in the other. I dunno if I'd say she's his pet? She has a bit more authority and autonomy over herself but she's pretty chill

What's Slender Man like in your AU?

Oohh ty for the question :) I've been thinking about what exactly I have to say about him... but I can't talk about him without talking about the silly guy too

Slenderman, at his core, is the manifestation of human despair; a combination of hatred, cruelty, and hopelessness. As opposed to splendorman, who was created at the same time out of humanity's joy. They've both had many physical changes throughout their history to adapt.

Here's these two vvv

Their most recent forms are spider-like, but slenderman has started to lose some of his arachnid attributes. (Design notes: splendorman is inspired by a happy face spider and a jumping spider, while slenderman is a combo of an ant mimic spider and straight up black mold LOL)

Slenderman is a bit more humanized in my AU, mentally speaking. He's fairly complex and has become suseptible to actually having emotions. He's grown fond for some of his proxies. Splendorman, on the other hand, does not feel that same connection to humanity, experiencing nothing but pure joy and whimsy, and still viewing people as little playthings.

In the past, Slenderman has been known to prey on naive and easily manipulated people to become his proxies, some circumstances even calling for certain persuasion that drives his targets to madness. Despite becoming more "human" in recent times, he has always been a creature of selfish desire to spread that despair and agony onto others.

Splendorman thinks he's going soft. He probably is :P

whats some funny lil quirks do you think they've got? for example: one likes scary stuff but also secretly likes mlp and sings winter wrap up in the shower

Oh yeah for sure, i think Lazari would be a prime example of that. She's very much the type thats sort of afraid to act her age, if that makes sense. She wants to be cool and edgy but she's only 10, she loves to draw and play just like the other kids even if she acts like she doesn't.

Other than that, I think eyeless jack applies too. A lot of the mansion residents get on his nerves, but he lets sally dress him up and do tea parties with him. He genuinely enjoys her company and views her like a little sister ^_^ I also think him and nina would sneak into raves together.. EJ is pretty serious and irritable most of the time so its funny to imagine him playing pretend and partying.

Last one but I think ben would draw but hide his art and never show it to anyone 😭 he gets embarrassed!!
