I think people being skeptical about azzi playing in project b is 100% valid. First you have the issue with them being funded by Saudi money and even though they may deny it, I find it very very difficult to believe that they’ve completely rejected all Saudi money. That being said, unrivaled isn’t perfect either, they’re being funded by unethical money as well. In regards to her development, a lot of people are critiquing her choice to compete in this league and I agree with that criticism. Project B is only a concept rn there’s not much concrete about it other than the players they’ve announced. I think 5v5 is a wonderful decision for her but I don’t think going to project b was the best option when euro league is right there and has an amazing level of competition🤷‍♀️

Like bro I’m so sorry I’m not tryna be negative or focus on one player but you can’t fucking ice the person who is arguably your best shooter and expect them to save you. She did ALL the defensive work and got nothing. She was open on the right wing in transition and Jess slowed down and passed it too late, open on the right wing about 2 or 3 times in the first and I believe paige and arike didn’t find her, she made a great cut and again she wasn’t found so tbh I don’t know what more she can do offensively when our bigs get the ball on the perimeter more than she does

We’re 15 games into the season. Granted, sometimes paige and azzi have off nights just like any other players but there’s absolutely no reason why it should be THIS MUCH of a struggle for the team to get them going

Ik sports fans are crazy cause I do watch a lot of sports but those spaces are predominantly filled with men and maybe it’s my naivety but I’ve been part of the woso space for a while and even tho I’m not that active anymore, I haven’t seen people dox each other😭😭
