((So after years of running this blog, It’s finally stopped being fun and turned into a chore. I’m just really burnt out on where to go with it from here and Tumblr’s formatting refusing to cooperate is making things even more of a hassle.)) ((So what happens now? As I posted previously, I’ve been working on getting every post here archived onto AO3. I will be finishing that up and then I may post some sort of epilogue or something to officially wrap the blog up, at least for now.)) ((Thank you for every ask, every laugh, every fun moment working on this, and quitting this blog does NOT mean I am not going to write anything SRMTHG in the future! Nah, one of me is enough. The Sun Riders said they could use it to strengthen the troops, so I gave it to them.

How well can each of the Hyperforce draw?

Chiro and I are the only ones who like to draw and I think we’re awesome at it.

Nova imagine if you had a team of other female monkeys.

I have. Several times when I was mad at someone. But the truth is.... I love these guys. I wouldn’t replace them for anyone! Plus I get a bathroom all to myself this way.

Do you enjoy drawing, Otto? If yes, can you show us one of the pictures?

Well, most of it is blueprints that I don’t want to show until they’re done, but sometimes I doodle in the free spaces.

How was it when you guys were with Kathorians(Kathurians?)? Do you still contact each other now?

Otto chats with that kitten he rescued like, three times a week. I’m pretty sure he’s basically it’s Godmonkey at this point. Other than that it’s pretty much all been war business.(Nova checks in with the Kathurian prince on occasion, on a strictly platonic basis, but hasn’t mentioned it around Sprx out of fear of making him either act insecure or endlessly cajole her about it. She knows the later is just a symptom of the former anyway.)

Hey Otto! What projects have you been working on lately?

I’m trying to improve the auto-chewer I gave to Chiro so that there’s an option that makes everything it chews taste like nachos. Antauri said Chiro needs to eat more vegetables. (Hmm… I wonder why Chiro hasn’t asked me where his auto-chewer went yet anyway….?)

The catpocalypse was remembered for years to come. The kittens knocked everything off every table in the super robot. Gibson’s chemicals exploded. Chiro’s carefully designed action figure collection was decimated. Skeleton King won the War of the Undead.

…Okay, maybe not the last one, but still, Otto would never live the incident down.

Chiro! Have you ever wondered how it is like to be a robot-monkey? If you were to turn into one what kind of weapon would you like to have?

Chiro reads the question, runs out of the Bridge, and comes back ten minutes later with his arms full of doodles on loose leaf paper.

For the monkey team: Do you feel like Chiro is your kid? Like, you're practically raising him. Does anyone from Child Services try to do anything?

I don’t… think they see me as their kid or anything like that? I mean, my parents weren’t around much so I’m not really sure how “normal” parents act anyway. I think this is more like having a bunch of weird… monkey…. siblings. Not that I know what siblings are like, either.I wouldn’t mind if they did see me that way though.(Chiro opened this ask and is too embarrassed to ask any of the others to add their opinion.)Anyways… Child Services?? What is that? Is that an Earth thing?

So Chiro, are you getting used to that tail?

Everything is going great!In the past 24 hours Chiro has tripped over his new tail no less than five times, fallen down two flights of stairs due to his newly shortened legs, bonked his huge head on several pieces of furniture, and accidentally activated pretty much every robotic gadget in his body.

hey monkey team! have you found any advantages to being human? like, are you taller now?

Being taller is horrible and I can’t get for the life of me why humans want to be taller so much. I keep hitting my head on things and I have to bend over to use the console. Do humans realize how easily their backs hurt??? Do they just hurt all the time anyway??? And you can’t even scratch it with your tail. How do you people live like this?!Jinmay has been helping me try out “human girl things” like painting my nails and braiding my hair. (The irony is not lost on me.) But apparently neither has a combat use like I thought they did - this hair takes forever to grow back I can’t just cut off the braid to use as an emergency rope, and the nail polish offers no shielding as I learned when I broke my tiny human hand on a punching bag yesterday. I’m quite fascinated with my new form! No matter how much I study human anatomy, no amount of reading has the same impact of experiencing the human condition myself. I have written several papers on the matter in the past 48 hours. Incidentally, I learned that, for humans, three hours of sleep every two days is not adequate.Every new experience offers an opportunity for insight and should not be discarded… no matter how challenging the situation may seem.Am I the only one just having fun with this?? Guys?? I mean, have you seen the neat stuff that collects in these belly buttons?

Having a fairly standard human body has made many of us appreciate the effort Chiro puts into strengthening his own. The boy certainly works hard to keep up with us under normal circumstances. Many of us are having trouble caring for our new bodies normally, and it shows much more quickly with these forms than it otherwise would. Gibson continuously has bags under his eyes, and I wonder if his fatigue is a new phenomenon or just one that can only now be noticed.So far only Nova and Antauri have let me see their belly buttons. I’m trying to see if anybody on the team has one of those “outies” humans talk about. If we’re going to be stuck like this for a while everyone needs to bulk up - these normal fists aren’t going to get tough enough to punch boulders themselves! Nova is still hot. Also I’m pretty sure I’m hot by human standards now too. Should I be selling pin-ups or…?
