Two nights ago the voices were telling me about an eqrthquake and to get ready for it.. just 20 minutes ago a 6.3 magnitude quake hit Milford sound which is just a few hours drive from me. Hmmm.

I had a bit of back and forth with the voices today. What they said was a wee bit disturbing. I live in NZ and earthquakes have had a big impact on our country over the last 10 years.

Lots to say tonight
It seems when I struggle to get to sleep I hear a lot more. These ones concerned me a little bit because when I am in that state I have less ability to object to whatever they’re saying. Thankfully if it upsets me I wake up enough to realise what’s going on. It’s hard to know if these are real people talking to me should I believe what they say? I think it’s safer just to take note of it all and see if anything they say proves itself to be real.

As you may have seen last night I heard “Eastern Cape, Sylvetta”. A quick google has shown me that there is indeed a farmstead called Sylvetta in Eastern Cape, South Africa! I have never heard of this place in my awake state. Maybe this is somewhere I lived in a past life? Maybe something will happen there soon? Or maybe a random spirit that is from there is chatting to me? Or maybe I have just heard the name somewhere and forgotten about it. More research to be done.

Comment: Most of these voices seemed to have an American accent. It is almost like I am tuning into TV or radio signals, like when you are scrolling through channels.
What I’ve captured so far.
I have these hallucinations every night but I do not always manage to write them down before I fall asleep. My intention is to capture them exactly as I hear them without adding or subtracting anything. This means they are often not complete or coherent sentences. That is just the nature of the beast. If I don’t recognise a word that I hear I will put it in quotation marks and spell it phonetically.

Hypnagogic Hallucinations as communication with... something
Hi there! This blog is mainly for my own use as a space to collate my auditory hypnagogic hallucinations. When I am falling asleep I hear a huge range of voices saying weird things. I am not mentally ill aside from your run of the mill anxiety and depression. I only hear these voices when I’m falling asleep or waking up. I know when I am about to fall asleep as I start to hear the voices. On some occasions I have been lucid enough to ask the voices questions and sometimes they answer me. My plan is to write down as much of the hallucinations as I can. Hopefully if they are meaningful to someone in the world they will be able to find them and we will know if there is more to this than my brain randomly misfiring as I fall asleep.
