At least it didn’t seem like it was horrible. Then again this was Magnus they were talking about and the warlock could do all sorts of things while wrapping it up in such a way that he’d never know it. Though, to be honest he wasn’t there to try one of his concoctions. Alec had told him that Magnus might know about the marks that had been found at one of the buildings they knew belonged to vampires. He’d already asked the head of the vampire clan and nothing came from it. And there was nothing in their records either. Jace figured Magnus was their last chance before they’d have to start thinking about reaching out to the Silent Brothers.
