not sure where this influx of followers came from, but hello!

it’s been a while. I know I was inactive for a long time, but I wanted to come back to make this post.

to any followers who have been with me since I first made tumblr, you know how in love I was with Jonghyun (my first handle was blingerbones). he was my everything at one point in life.

I just finished finals in my second to last semester of undergrad, so I was not able to fully realize what happened earlier this week until earlier today. 

although I am deeply devastated, I know that I cannot mourn for long. there are still things I need to do in this world. even with his passing, I will still remember Jonghyun as a reason to keep going. he is an inspiration, motivation, an influencer, etc.

not sure where I was going with this, but this is all I can come up with in this moment.

today a girl in my korean class told me i wasn’t asian

i told her “i’m not doing this today. do you not remember me yelling at you last semester in front of the whole class for saying my dad isn’t asian?”

she said no and asked if she had offended me and if so, she didn’t understand why. she asked me “well what type of asian are you? if it makes you feel better no one thinks i’m asian either. they all think i’m chinese”

does it matter what fucking type of asian i am? no. also how does that useless piece of information make me feel better? to know you really are as dumb as i thought???

yeah i know i don’t look asian at first glance, but i sure as hell don’t feel like “no one thinks i’m asian” or whatever she was trying to say
