To all Stays - rant time sorry but I have to
Okay so I'm really upset with the shit that's happening around stays and skz this year. Mostly on twt, but still dangerous for the whole fandom.
Tbh in 2018 I thought that stays are the most chill cuties in kpop family. But from the beginning of 2019 everything just started falling apart. As a fandom we fought, dramas breaking the relationship between us. First chans hair, 2racha, then ninjas, alladin and just recently Felix's ideal type. And unfortunately many more incidents (seemingly stupid and not really that important, but thanks to many misunderstandings - very hurtful) that kinda broke our fandom.
Believe me, I know that antis had a big role in all of this, but look how easy it was to make us split. We are also the ones to blame. Hating on each other is normal rn, when stays are supposed to be one big family.
Our fandom is young, there is still a lot to learn, so let's be respectful. I believe that this is just the drama time that will pass soon. But here is the thing - boys love and appreciate us, and if we won't come to our senses quickly, we might lose this precious relationship.
IT'S TIME TO GET OUR SHIT TOGETHER STAYS, STOP SPREADING HATE, START SPREADING LOVE
Thanks for coming to my ted talk and please if you agree, spread this
Am I the only one who thinks that Side Effects choreo is a little bit too extreme? I mean it looks awesome but all of them looked really, like really tired after performing. We all love energetic performances but isn’t it a little too much?
Pls tell me what you think about it
I can totally see some members ending up with bruises at the end of the promo. Most of them might even have bruises now. THE CHOREO IS EXTREEEEEEEEM. BRO
OMG NOT THE BRUISES PLS BRO
i get where you're coming from- like that choreography is crazy and they do seem like it takes a looot of energy. but then again, if you look at the concept and song, then it's justified. the song itself is weird, insane, alluring and all that so i get why it's so intense. either way, if they take care of themselves and don't overexert themselves i think it's okay? (although this is just my opinion!)
I totally agree with you! Its just when i watched their performance on Mcountdown Hyunjin, for example, looked so tired that he was unable to lipsync. No doubt, choreography fits the song perfectly, but idk it makes me feel uneasy. Still, just as you say, if they're not overworking themselves its okay. I guess we have to wait for the next performance and see if maybe they just had a bad day lmao

LETS GIVE OUR BOYS SECOND WIN AND MORE!
Clé 2: 2 Roads
Now that we’ve got this MV teaser, I felt the need to add on to my ramblings from last night.
Again we have two roads, two choices, but it remains unclear exactly what those choices are, and whether they’ll make a difference.
We start off with a tree breaking a single road into two paths. I do think it was a deliberate choice that exactly 4 members of SKZ goes one way while exactly 4 others take the other path, and I.N stays in the middle. SKZ has an odd number of members, and yet they still split exactly in half in that scene.
We have a ticket with the number 325 in the upper left corner - for those who don’t know, that’s their debut date, and they actually have a whole song about it. It popped up in the Chronosaurus video as well, on one of the clocks.
What about the destination? The “New World”? I have a theory that this could be adulthood. It’s a one way trip, after all, and the black balloons attached to a shopping cart could be a reference to 19, a song about growing into adulthood:
This could also relate to the playful way in which the boys (especially those who choose the path to the right) run out of the elevator. If adulthood is the choice they’re making, then we once again ask the question: is there really a choice at all? Everyone grows up, whether they want to or not, but does embracing adulthood vs. clinging to youth make a difference? If their choice was to become an idol group, was the side effect being forced to abandon childhood too soon? Is this why I.N, the youngest member, is the one who ends up stuck in the middle at the beginning? Because he hasn’t made his choice yet? Could this mean that the thoughts on the White album are I.N’s?
I’ll add too that this makes sense with the Mixtape Spin-off, which combines their mixtape tracks through the years, documenting their growth over time.
I was also curious about the buses. As they leave, it looks almost as if both are empty. So what happened to the members who got on the bus? Did they decide to get off and walk elsewhere? Or am I reading way too much into things?
Finally, I noticed that Clé 1: MIROH is about a maze, where there’s only one path. In Clé 2 we have 2 paths. In Clé 3, will Stray Kids find some sort of middle path, maybe one that they forge themselves?
Your local Literature + Psychology Stay signing off, leaving you with more questions than you started with as per usual ~
Have a nice day !
Kay so i have a theory about whose thoughts are on the white album (idk if this is important tho). In my opinion they are Hyunijn's. You see, after using a some kind of filters stays found out that there are hidden images on the album posters
On white we can see Hyunijn, on black Chan. What's more, there are some lyrics that seem to be connected with the Hyunjins behaviour in "Yellow Wood" teaser
When they reach floor L, Hyunjin is the only one with visible reaction, he looks like his letting out a sigh just like the person in lyrics. I don't know if its important, but i felt like i needed to say this. It seems like Hyunjin has some kind of role that wasn't revealed yet.
Also i think that the most important thing is the meaning behind the 'new world' that the boys can head to. What is it? What are the consequences? If they decide to stay, what will happen? Plus what happened with the whole 'lets destroy the government" thing (yknow what i mean)
Oh and this theory about adulthood and stuff is awesome and makes so much sense that its scary lmao
Another Clue??
First "Side Effects" teaser is probably connected with Frosts poem "The Road Not Taken" (just like the song "Road Not Taken"). You can see that there are two possible scenarios :
So what will actually happen? Which path is the right one? Where are they? What is a "new world"?
Find out on the next episode of "What the fuck is going on"
