love, to lee minho, isn't just expressed in three words.

to minho, love is when he peels you oranges, arranged in the shape of a heart when he presents it to you. he'd feed you one, kiss your forehead and leave the plate on the table whenever he sees you stressing over work.

love is the way he tries to make you laugh by leaving sticky notes around the house, each one containing a random joke or doodles of jureumi. he tries to convey love whenever he slips a note into your lunchbox, the words "eat well," written on the paper. minho hopes that these notes will make you smile throughout the day.

it's love when he shields you on rainy days, whether it be with an umbrella or his jacket. his needs are pushed aside then, his number one priority being your comfort. the raven doesn't mind the rainfall drenching the back of his tee as he pulls you close to him, using his leather jacket to shield your head.

minho takes your health seriously. he doesn't even allow jokes about you falling sick, he's sure to send daggers your way when you do. he ensures all your meals are eaten, going as far as ordering delivery for you if you're too busy. your favourite meals are written down in his notes, preferred restaurants starred in his delivery app. on off days, minho enjoys cooking for you. he adores the entire process of it — from buying groceries with you, and cooking as you hold him from behind. but most importantly, he loves feeding you your first bite and seeing a smile appear on your pretty face. <3

love is also the way he incorporates you in his morning routine. he wakes up, and kisses you on the forehead before getting ready. another kiss to the lips before he leaves for work. though it's become a habit, you've never doubted the sincerity of the kisses. you could feel it in the tenderness of each kiss.

The front page of the magazine stared up at you as you stood in the backstage room before you were ready to go on stage. Which made it all the more difficult with you knowing what category you were reading out. The best RAP Album of the year. Of course it had to be that, you thought to yourself. Your nervousness of going on stage still affected you as much as it did when you first started off. A short silver dress that showed off your smooth legs clung to your beautiful curves. The diamonds of your jewels glittered. As you moved your fingers through your locks; time slowly ticked on.

“On in five.” The assistant’s words echoed into the room as you softly nodded. “Thank you.” You hummed. You moved your hands down your sides for a moment as you tried to prepare yourself. You could do this, you thought to yourself whilst leaning closer to the mirror and painting your lips pink. Your fingers traced your necklace for a moment before you finally found the courage to leave the room. Your smile brightened at the music playing around you as your mood brightened. You were handed a mic and a piece of paper as your heels clicked on the floor. You made your way towards the opening. 

Sneakily, you peaked out the curtains and saw the seats completely filled and your shyness returned once more. “Ready?” The assistant asked from the side of you as the music began to pick up. It was only a moment later that your name was spoken aloud to announce your role in announcing the winners.

“Here’s your little crush.” Proof whispered into Marshall’s ear who was lounged back with his legs spread. Shady only rolled his eyes even as he slowly began to take interest in the show that had been boring since the start. “Shut up.” He mumbled as you gracefully walked over to the mic.

God, those legs of yours were delicious, he thought to himself and wondered how they would feel wrapped around him. His blues darkened slightly as those thoughts raced through his mind. Fuck, he was down bad for you. You were just somebody he respected and there weren't many women who he did.

It didn’t help that you were a Goddess. He moved in his seat as you began to speak. Hopefully, people would just believe it was because he might win. “And the winner for the best Rap album of the year ..is ..” You looked into the crowd as the dramatic pause carried on and you couldn’t stop the bright blush moving over your face as you read the winner out. “Eminem!” You called out and moved to follow the round of applause that followed the announcement. You tried to stop yourself from staring when he moved from his seat with that confidence you were in envy of. Your heart was pounding in your ear the closer Marshall moved to you.

Your smile could only brighten as he sauntered onto the stage and your eyes couldn’t help but move over him. It wasn’t like Marshall was any better as he finally came to a stop just next to you. “Congratulations.” You whispered and tried to hide the shock moving through you as he brought you into a hug. God, he smelt so good, you thought to yourself as your soft breasts brushed against his chest whilst your hand moved onto him. “Thank you.” Marshall hummed before leaning in and pressing a soft kiss to your cheek. You nearly whimpered out there and then as your heart skipped a beat.

His smirk widening across his face made you think he could hear it. You slowly moved to the side before realising you couldn’t. You shared a look with him but it was too late as he moved to take the mic. His hand moved down your back and softly stroked you. The thin layer of your dress hardly keeps him at bay. “Thank you for the award.” Marshall began to speak as he kept you closer than what would normally be acceptable but you didn’t have it in you to pull away. Nor did you truly want to; but you weren’t going to admit that. “I’d like to thank the fans of course.” He continued whilst still stroking you.

You hated when the speech was done. You wanted to stay in that moment a little longer as the applause happened once more. You locked eyes on him once more as you slowly left his side but he still gently kept a hold on you and you found yourself walking beside Marshall and off the stage. “I’m glad you won.” You whispered into his ear with a soft blush shining across your face once more. “Oh yeah? Are you allowed to have a favourite?” Marshall couldn’t help but tease as he enjoyed the words more than he should. “I don’t have a favourite.” You softly mumbled, ducking your head.

Marshall only smirked as he held the award whilst moving backstage with you. “It was nice meeting you.” You both slowly came to a stop as you looked up at him; thankfully the heels bridged the height gap. “And you. Think you might have made me more famous.” You winked teasingly at him. “Oh, I’m sure that’s not true.” He nearly ducked his head before he remembered himself and locked eyes with you once more. You were about to open your mouth once more to continue the conversation when his name was shouted. “See you around.” You ducked around him as Dre moved to congratulate the rapper.

You didn’t notice Marshall looking over his shoulder once more as he watched you leave. Those blues of his wandering over your body once more before he moved into the hug Dre gave him. “Maybe you’ll finally get the girl.” Dre couldn’t help but tease his friend whilst Marshall only rolled his eyes. Maybe one day, he thought as he saw you also look over your shoulder to him and your eyes locked once more.
