Accidental Break In || Hyunyoung & Sukyung
Button mashing. That’s what Sukyung’s night consisted of. Instead of being a busy body of the social nightlife, Sukyung thought the perfect Friday night would be playing video games till the crack of dawn. It was a wonderful thing. A person could sit for hours and hours pushing the same few buttons and not notice the time go by. Though most people would stop once they hit the tenth hour of playing but not Sukyung. It had been way more that. Seventy-three hours to be exact with only a few pauses in between for necessary things like eating. To say she was addicted was an understatement. It was an addiction that could rival her coffee addiction.
She continued to ignore the twitch she felt coming from her left eye that was clearly trying to tell her that her eyes were tired and wanted a break. She wouldn’t have it. She was close to beating the game and made a personal bet with herself that she could complete the game in one sitting. It was impractical but Sukyung had as tendency to be stubborn and irrational.
She bit down on her lip in concentration as if a meaningless gesture would give better results on the screen when she heard an odd sound coming from her door. Figuring it was nothing important, she continued to focus on the screen. Moments later, a loud, strange banging came from the other side of her door. Irritated, Sukyung paused her game and balled her hands into fists. Normal people would have been alarmed with such noises but not Sukyung. She was never normal.
She could feel traces of heat emitting from her fingertips as she stormed to the door. Whoever dared to interrupt her gaming was surely going to pay for the consequences in fire. She was feet away from the door when the door swung open. The person that came stumbling in was not what she expected at all.
“Hyunyoung?” Sukyung was baffled. Astonished. Flabbergasted even. It took her a few moments to let the entire situation sink in. She expected some kind of robber or crazy person. Not her own friend. Had someone else been in her situation, she’d be laughing on the floor. She eyed the doorknob on her door, knowing that it was beyond repair. Whatever anger she felt beforehand only intensified tenfold with the new found knowledge that it was Hyunyoung that dare disrupt her gaming.
“I- Did you just… Break into my apartment?”
Hyunyoung rose her eyes up to the person talking to her. She opened her eyes as wide as she could, despite being abundantly tired and drunk. She let out a heavy breath as she rolled over and her back and closed her eyes again. She could already see the mixture of confusion and anger in her friend’s face. She knew Sukyung was about ready to yell at her, but she was in no mood to listen, nor care.
It was then that her mind came to a realization: Sukyung was in her apartment. Or so she thought. She furrowed her eyebrows and tried to stand up as best she could. She wobbled her way back up and put one hand on her hip. Her eyes were squinting and and her face was scrunched up as if there was the light of a flashlight directed at her face.
“Your apartment?” she slurred her words, almost sounding alien. “This.. This is my apartment!” She nearly stumbled over her words as she almost fell over and had to use the wall next to her as a crutch. “What are you doing here?” she asked. “What are you doing over there?” she swung her entire arm over to the TV set where Sukyung’s video game was currently paused.
As Hyunyoung started to walk towards the TV to see, she tripped over her feet and nearly fell down bringing Sukyung with her, but luckily her friend had caught her. She could see the concern in her friend’s expression, but it hadn’t registered in Hyunyoung’s head why.
“What are you looking at?” she said lazily. “Fuck, I’m too tired for this. Goodnight.” She had almost instantly fallen asleep while Sukyung tired to keep her up. She figured Sukyung was in here just to crash at her place like she did sometimes, so it wasn’t too concerning to her that Sukyung was there. It was then that she felt a flick to her head when she open her eyes again.
me: i should probably tell people how i feel today
me: it can't be healthy keeping it all bottled in
me: i need to open up to somebody
somebody: hey how are you
me: I AM ABSOLUTELY FINE

Accidental Break In || Hyunyoung & Sukyung
Hyunyoung had been out with a few of her drinking buddies for the night when she had drank herself silly. She was actually at a wine-tasting social when it had turned into a raunchy party that featured alcohol of all types. Hyunyoung had broken out a bottle of Vodka--her favorite liquor--and nearly drank the entire thing by the end of the gathering. Being a lightweight, it wasn't exactly such a great idea. She'd fell and threw up multiple times that night, but kept drinking and partying.
At the end of the event, having no ride home, she'd decided to walk back to her near-by apartment. She declined offers from various guests at the event to take her home, and she insisted that she'd be fine, as her place was "just around the corner". She was a stumbling mess just trying to exit her friend's house, and nearly fell flat on her face while getting to the sidewalk outside.
As her adrenaline from the party went down she began to feel nauseated again. She eventually stopped a few times in case she threw up again, but kept on her way home, tripping every other step she took.
She had dosed off so many times that she wasn't even sure where she was exactly. With her mind heavily intoxicated, she thought it wouldn't seem too bad if she was lost. She figured if she couldn't find her way home then she could find an alley or park to sleep at. Her head was nearly spinning when she finally reached her apartment complex, and she hurriedly made her way inside.
She earned a few stares from the people in the building as she swayed and tripped to an elevator. She didn't even know how she managed to press the correct button on the elevator to get her destined floor. Once the elevator traveled up a few stories and the door opened she stumbled out, not even looking to see if she was in the correct floor.
As she walked through the hallway she took off her shoes that were murdering her feet. She loved wearing high-heels, but not for an extensive amount of time. She was about ready to pass out as she finally reached her apartment door. She then ruffled through her purse to pull out her keys. When she found the right key Hyunyoung jammed it into the lock and shifted it to unlock the door.
As she struggled to turn unlock the door she started getting frustrated. She was tired and her feet were aching; the last thing she needed was for her door to be jammed. All she wanted to do right now was fall onto her couch and pass out.
She tried unlocking the door again but it wouldn't budge. Hyunyoung let out a heavy breath. Her mind was too clouded with the mix of her alcohol intake and exhaustion, so instead of going to ask for help she took one of her shoes and rammed the heel into the door knob. She figured she could fix it later.
Hyunyoung banged her shoe up against the door knob a few more times before she heard it break. She then grabbed the knob again and twisted the now-loose door knob and entered the apartment. The knob nearly fell out of the door as it closed. The first few steps she took inside she fell down to the ground and closed her eyes. She hadn't even made it to the couch before she started to wonder off into sleep.
She was half way asleep until she heard someone called her name. "Hyunyoung?"
