Just gonna say that insisting that any character has to be gay or straight is reductive to a game that does not imply canon romantic/sexualities. It is also reductive to queers as a whole. Insisting that a flamboyant man has to be gay is homophobic and biphobic at the same time. You can have your personal headcanons and also not be biphobic about it either

i am sorry for all the discourse today i try not to post too much here about anything other than just xiv but the fact that this was a very prominent xiv artist that i was a big fan of meant it hit really hard. ive heard a lot of people say theyve behaved pretty unpleasantly in the past and that its not a surprise, but this was my first time seeing it

i talked about this on bsky but i also wanna say despite today being a wild ride its really lifted my mood to see how many people have spoken out in support, added in their thoughts, its been really lovely. thank you
