hey hi hello this is my pinned post so here goes. I don't really remember how to write these things so bear with me.

Hi, my name is Isak, or Griff, either works. I went by Paul for a very long time online because of an old username and it stuck but that has changed. So here's some stuff about me,

i use he/him pronouns

I am 18, almost 19 actually (yes, ive hit unc status, don't remind me lol or the IRS)

im pagan, specifically Lokean (hail loki! :3)

I desire to be a clown, a bird, and to look like Fred Durst all at once. I am just a little guy.

i am a trans man and gay and i am very proud of it. if you can't gather what my beliefs are from that this should sum it up. i am pro LGBTQ+ (i am for the gays and the theys) I'm anti-fascist, left leaning blah blah blah whatever all that stuff. so, if you bring hate speech or bigotry onto this page i will smite you.

i will likely be screaming about NOBLE team a lot, particularly Jun he is my beloved husband. i have not shared much of my insanity about him but that will likely change, i have no shame anymore lol.

Summary: jun is thinking about you again, his heart aches for you. he yearns to hold you in his arms again and kiss the tears from your eyes. but he cant find you, and it hurts him all the more he tries.

a/n: hellooo, this is a remake of my previous fic. I felt it was too plain, and I needed to make Jun hurt even more than he already does. The reader is gender neutral. It's also on ao3!!!

Jun stared out the window of his apartment. The sky was a dull grey, and the ground was wet, fresh with rain. His eyes scanned the crowds beneath him to ignore the feeling of tightness in his chest. He is trying to find something, or rather someone. 

You. 

He sighed heavily and put down the now cold coffee cup next to him; all he could see in his mind was you. your face, your eyes and the way they'd soften when you saw him, the dilation of your pupils, and how you made him lose his typical cool and aloof demeanor. The way when you touched his arm it'd send a zing of electricity up his arm, or when your soft lips pressed themselves against his. 

He sees you in everything; the blurry memory of your smile kills him inside a little bit each time he thinks of it.

He watched as those space elevator doors shut, looking at you for the final time. He remembered the way you clung to his torso, tears spilling out of your beautiful eyes. He thinks that him having to force you into the elevator was the worst moment of his life. His chest grew tighter as he thought of it all. He hoped you had gotten off that rock safely and that you were warm in your home on whichever remaining planet you had settled on. Maybe you'd even found someone else, another man to love you in his absence. 

Selfishly, a part of him hoped not. In all honesty, he hated that thought; he hoped that you were looking for him, like he was looking for you. He scanned and searched crowds for you, hoping to lock eyes with you and to engulf you in a hug that would crush you from the weight of his regrets. When he was on stages giving speeches and in interviews or in those boring hours-long meetings, he always thought of you to ease his mind, that you were watching and cheering him on. He can't deny how much he loved you and misses you. 

Jun has tried to date again, to find a person that suited him, but no one compared to you. Your love was gentle and soft, sweet even. In comparison to his rough and rugged lifestyle, it was heaven on earth... or rather, reach... that godawful planet. He didn't hate it, per se. Just didn't like thinking of it. 

The memories of you and his team ached. How you'd practically skip and run down the hallway to hug him every time you'd see him. How he'd pretend to get scared when you'd try and pounce on him just to see you laugh and smile, even though he heard you coming from a mile away. You had this giggle you'd do when you were going to mess with him; it was mischievous and evil. He loved it; he'd hear it in his dreams, and it would soothe his soul, his mind, and his body. Just knowing you were there was always enough. 

But you're not here anymore. And his soul ached and yearned to have you again.

When Jun was having panic attacks, he'd see you. Kneeling next to him, lying next to him, or in his arms. You'd coo in his ear and stroke his waist or his cheek. Or he'd just see you in his kitchen sitting on the counter waiting for him by the coffee maker or on the couch curled up with a book. 

Sometimes when he'd go on hikes, he'd look up at the sky and see a bird and think of you. He always thought of you as his bird, a little one that chirps on his shoulder and cuddles into his neck, soft and colorful feathers brushing against his rough skin. He thought you were maybe a cockatiel or a linnie... something cute. 

And now you're gone. And he can't find you. 

You were a heartache waiting to happen. Jorge had warned him that dating a civilian never ends well, especially for a Spartan. But there's nothing he can do about it now but bury you deep in his mind and focus on his paperwork instead.

So anyway halo reach head cannons

Carter does not actually give a shit that his team probably broke several unsc regulations. He is a passive supporter in the way he may pretend to be upset in front of the big boss or whatever, but usually he doesn't care.

Emile and Kat are the sole reasons Carter does not care. They tested his patience, and it worked, so now he's a passive observer for whatever idea they're about to execute.

Jorge is the most likely to adopt a dog.

There are stray cats outside the base that Carter has been spotted feeding a couple times. No one knows where the rumor came from.

Six once stumbled upon him doing it, but both spartans simply pretended it didn't happen because that's easier than actually talking.

Six naps a lot. On crates. On the floor. In broom closets. Anywhere that has a flat surface.

Kat has a book full of bad jokes. She tells them to Carter when she thinks he's acting 'grumpy'. He's not really bothered by it.

Kat talks a lot when she trusts someone, mostly about random stuff she found out by digging into things a little too much.
