Just in case anyone needs to hear it today, it actually IS okay to write fics in which the other characters are just set dressing for your special little guy. It actually IS okay to have a fav character in a ship and focus more, or entirely, on their arc. It's called FAN fiction, and sometimes someone is going to be more a FAN of one character than another, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. This is a hobby, not English class. We're all writing to make ourselves happy.

I have this theory that Shane is everywhere. Behind wearewatcher. Lurking on a personal account or two (sockpuppets, one might even say). Reading the comments on their vids. At the table behind you at Panera.

This isn't to imply that Shane has creeper energy. What he has is chaotic energy. There's too much of Shane to be contained in one physical person. That's why he's got so many puppets - they're full of secrets Shane-energy. Shanergy.

So, yeah. Shane is everywhere. Shane is all of us. You could walk into your house and find Shane in your living room, making friends with your parents and asking what's the deal with cousins, and you wouldn't even be surprised.

But, I mean, it's just a theory.

obsessed with shanergy. he is multiple people, puppets, if you will. he is a different kind of cryptid. not one entity, but many, and they look too normal to set off any alarms. he doesn't even set off the uncanny valley feeling. he's evolved past that.

he is just chaotically around. surveying, watching. multiple puppets, but only one puppeteer. no ill intent. but he is around. maybe around the corner, you'll hear a distant, "this is my smile dog".

What's sad is that I'm 169% ok with this theory. I am all for the Shanergy, and I'm all for finding him lurking in a dark corner of my closet with puppets too. I wouldn't even be surprised by it in the slightest. I'd have to let him out of there though, because he's too tall for lurking in my closet for too long. Anywhere else is fair game.

ghost files live was incredibly good, absolutely worth the money honestly probably worth more money! They did a live spirit box session and Ryan said that while he was doing vows at his wedding he briefly pictured him and Shane, so. great stuff.

I'm reposting this because I'm jealous. I was supposed to be going on August 19th, but then my whole life did a 180 and I couldn't get the tickets because I no longer had a significant other to go with, or anyone else to go with, and I can't drive due to seizures, nor do I want to go alone.
