Update on my exam results I passed everything and got a first in 2 modules, I might be able to get a first in my bio module if I do well on my deferred coursework. I’m so happy I really didnt believe in myself for a moment and thought I was gonna do badly but the hard work I put in seemed to have paid off and the elvanse lol 😂. But next year I’m gonna try even harder, I’ve never done that well in uni so seeing my hard work actual pay off feels great. Hope everyone else has done well on their exams and gets the results they hope for ❤️

Hiii!! I am an incoming pharm student, and I wanted to ask what you thought of pharmacy school so far?? How is the workload compared to undergrad? TY in advance <3

Hiii tbh the workload in first year was similar to undergrad. I’m in the UK so I did A-Levels to get into university. First year was to get everyone on the same page, but with added content centred around drugs and OSCE practice. Year 2 has been a larger workload since it is all new.

My advice would be to study and understand the concepts as you go along. Try to read like an article every so often about what is going on in the pharmaceutical world. It might help you develop your interest in different areas of pharmacy, and enlighten you to current issues within it.

I’m really enjoying it. I like learning new clinical and communication skills, and placements have pushed me out of my comfort zone which I really needed. I also love learning about drugs and how they work lol.

I’m gonna deep clean my room in the morning, get ready to workout, gym and then just get through all of my exam content. I need to cook something too so I can eat for the next few days.

I need to go over about 20 more lectures for the exam on the 7th. I’m going try to read through all of them tomorrow.

I’ve been working out, I’m doing body recomp so I just need to continue weight training but add more protein back into my diet and reduce my carbs again.

I need to pick up my resource booklet for my pharmacy placement as well.

Life is making me feel sick rn there is too much going on but then again it could also be my elvanse

BIO EXAM WAS TODAY

I had so much anxiety before my exam but it was okay. However I realised I did one question completely wrong, but I know bare minimum I’ve passed me and that 40% pass mark are locked in together. Do I wish I did better? Of course, but il just try to do better in the next one. I can’t wait for exams to be over I’m gonna be dillydallymaxxing in the holidays.

Also I’m so excited for UFC 328 only like 2 weeks till the Khamzat and Sean fight.

feeling slightly worried.

I need to make the most of the time I have left before my exam. Today I got through a bunch of my cardiovascular disease and therapeutics lectures. I love learning about the heart and how diet affects your blood and then the effect of those things on your blood pressure and vessels. I also worked out and cooked, I’ve had a really packed day but tomorrow should be less busy so I can get more revision done.

I did a study call with my friend for around 7 hours, I always work better with other people. I’m low-key locked in but I don’t wanna jinx myself lol. I’m suprised cause I’m not on my ADHD meds rn but it turns out I’m not useless without them⭐️

I’ve nearly finished the whole of my endocrine topic I put off doing some topics but I went through them pretty deeply so I feel a lot better know. I’m still studying now as I don’t want to lose momentum but I wanted to post something before I get back into it.

DAY 3 RAHHHH

14 DAYS TILL MY BIO EXAM

My mum had surgery so she’s been in hospital the past few days so I haven’t had the time to sit down and study. But I’m pretty proud of myself even though I’ve needed to help her more I’ve found time to study which usually id struggle to do. I would just say I’d do it tomorrow, and tomorrow would come and the cycle of repeating my mistakes would continue. Today I started my cardiovascular topic but theres a lot to get through so I’m gonna lock in tomorrow and push through it.

I also got round to watching UFC 327 the fight between Hokit and Blaydes was so entertaining, I couldn’t stop laughing every time Hokit stuck his middle finger up like wtf. But I felt for Curtis Blaydes I was rlly rooting for him.

Anyway, if you guys have exams coming up just remember that a doing a little is better than nothing. We’ve got this <3

18 DAYS TILL MY BIO EXAM :(

Unfortunately, I didn’t accomplish as much as I wanted to today. I went over the drugs used for different endocrine disorders, I was planning to go over the reproductive system, but that didn’t happen…

Regardless of that I still had a good day and felt happy which is always great. Especially because I’m hosting a Mario themed party with my friends tomorrow, I may not post but hopefully I can study for an hour or two tomorrow evening.

Today I studied for about 4 hours I’m working through my bio module. I finished the endocrinology topic, it was super interesting but I now have a deep fear of developing diabetes. No more sweet treats for me :(

I’m challenging myself to start posting again, I have about a month till my end of year exams so I’m going to try to use this page to motivate myself. I’m currently raw dogging my ADHD cause the meds were not agreeing with me so we shall see how this goes. On the bright side I’ve been drawing more recently and I’ve really been enjoying it.

It’s so frustrating now that I’ve started vyvanse people expect me to be perfect as if I haven’t struggled my whole life to do the most basic tasks. I’m working on implementing a proper routine and better habits but it doesn’t happen overnight. I feel so guilty whenever I have an unproductive day after taking my medication. I wish I didn’t have a fucked up brain.

Started ADHD meds recently but I keep falling into a pattern of doomscrolling and daydreaming instead of doing anything productive. Has anyone else struggled with this, how did you overcome it ?
