#RISEAGAIN on Twitter, one month later
On JUNE 9TH is one month since the cast asked on Twitter and also Instagram to tell NBC how much we wanted Rise to come back for Season 2. They gave us an hashtag, #RISEAGAIN. Last month we trended, we flooded NBC with tweets and comments. The show two days later got cancelled, but one month later we’re still here. Tired and frustrated because of their silence (not even a statement??? Not even from Jason? MMmmhhhhh…), but that’s why I thought to tweet again to them, like in May. Let’s show them that we’re serious. That we meant all we said back then. I still have hope. HERE WE ARE!
The tweeting starts at 3/2c PM (EST) . This is around the same time the cast asked us to tweet, last month.
Write tweets about how much you love the show, the reasons why it’s still relevant, the fact that one month later we’re still here, etc. Spread positivity! Then add the #RISEAGAIN hashtag. You can add the show tag too, if you want (#Rise).
Use also the #SacredTroupe hashtag. This hashtag has been less used, so there’s a chance it can trend.
Mention @nbc and @UniversalTV in your tweets and cast members too, so they can know about it. Let’s focus on NBC, I’d say: this event was made for them at the beginning, so try to not tweet to other networks too, this time.
If you want you can link them the petitions links. Use gifs, images, anything you like!
You can check a timezone website converter like this one and find out your time. As first city you can select for example New York, then choose the date (June 9th) and the time (3 PM). Now select your city - here you go, you have the corresponding time.
If it’s late or a difficult time for you you can schedule tweets with TweetDeck: it’s a very easy tool for schedule tweets and it’s free. You don’t have to be online to make it work. This of course is useful to everyone, like if you want to help the trend but you’re busy/at work etc.
Of course it would be nice to trend again, but the main thing is to tweet them again massively. Like a sacred troupe.
