❝The one && only.❞
«I've heard talk about him but I never thought that he was real.»
Lydia realized that letting go with the whole situation would lead her to the best results. She liked being this close to Isaac and she didn’t hear any complaints from his side. Maybe if they just acted like all of this was a blind date and they had to make the best of it, they wouldn’t be under so much stress. “I think it will be very positive if you and I are relaxed around each other. I hope you know you can trust me because I really do trust you, Isaac.” she nodded and her fingers locked with his again. She closed her eyes as he was the one who would actually kiss her this time. She replied by kissing him back and putting her small arms around his neck. She found the comfort in his embrace.
The initial awkwardness and embarrassment were significantly decreased compared to before, they were both relaxed. It was much better than what he thought, even if the wedding it was a unexpected novelty, so they could better deal with that change so sudden and do it together. It would have made it all much easier and reduced the initial confusion. He hadn't missed her words but to answer her immediately would have to move aside and let go a couple of minutes before moving again his lips from hers. They had to breathe, perhaps for this. "I think so too." She whispered back and realized to have placed his hands on her hips, they were still there.
❝If you’re not a practicing pagan, their existence is a bit… sudden, I suppose. But they’re there. And they’re real. All of them. That’s the big joke about religion— they’re all right. The Greeks, the Christians, the Aztecs…the Norse.❞
She paused, and grinned, immeasurably proud. ❝My father is Loki,❞ she elaborated.
Instead, he had no reason to be proud of his father when he was alive. It was horrible with him and there was nothing to brag about it. He avoided this argument. «No, actually I did even know about werewolves until a year ago.» He had to admit. «The God Loki? Him?» he asked, was ... unusual. the werewolf found everything strange but it was also curious to ask.
Why did kissing her future boyfriend seemed so new and fresh? Why did it give her butterflies when it should have been normal. She shouldn’t feel so excited but she did. Maybe she was giving herself a chance to actually fall for Isaac. Her lips played along his before she slowly moved away, her body and head were still pretty close even though their lips weren’t together anymore. A sudden blush came up to her cheeks as she looked down for a second. She didn’t know what to tell him. She kissed him because she wanted to and there was no other reason. “Thank you for liking my dress.” she said again, her tone was soft and quiet. Her fingers were still locked with his as they stood together. She licked down her lip before she smiled up at him and gave his lips a soft peck. “I might get used to this.” she added, mumbling against his lips.
The kiss was ... Isaac felt a mixture of feelings, were not new to her. His feelings towards Lydia were still present and what he felt was just kissing her much better than he could have hoped for in the past. Not moved away completely from her even when they stopped kissing, «Not at all...?» he did not think at all to the dress but at her. He must have definitely distracted from what they were talking about before, and had been a bit of mind that they were there to talk about clothes. He was distracted. He glanced to her lips reacting to her action, «I do not think it's bad ... it's just a positive, if we get used.» including himself. It was slightly embarrassed by the situation but it seemed to her too. He thought that he could kiss her again and again as it was before. In theory, now they were together, he could if he wanted to kiss her. He reduced the distance between them and put his lips again on hers for just that purpose.
❝We’re much less common than, well,❞ she gestured at the boy meaningfully.❝Werewolves. 99% of tricksters are just pagan deities. It’s a mythological archetype, just like goddesses of love, gods of war, etc. In fact, to my knowledge, I’m the only one who isn’t a god.❞
It was much more than he could say that he had never heard. He knew the gods but in a generic sense, he did not expect that actually existed. Not even the trickster was one of these... It was all very new. «I had no idea, it's all over... strange.» he wasn't even born werewolf, he had been transformed and many things he did not know them.
Lydia was pretty proud of the dress. It took her more than two weeks to find the one she would actually like and the one that could show off her sexy curves. Her cheeks filled with heat once he spoke. She looked down at the dress once more before she looked at him again. “Thank you very much.” she said in a soft tone as she walked to him. She chuckled shyly and spinned around once so he could get the whole look. “I’m so glad my husband likes it. I wanted to go with you but I doubt you would enjoy that.” she laughed and took his hands in hers again. Right now, it felt like a natural thing. Why wouldn’t they be able to hold hands and just act cute? It was their life mission after all. To pretend to be happy. What if there was a chance they could actually be honestly happy? With that though, Lydia lifted herself up and pressed her lips to Isaac’s. She moved his hand to his chest and kissed his lips softly, her eyes were closed.
He thought seriously what he had said, not that he expected to see a woman with her wedding dress at this age. Yet, he not stop staring, not for the dress, not if it meant, but he thought it was and make her look even more beautiful. He also had a dress for the wedding and had to measure it. She certainly was perfect with wearing that dress. Seconded her movements and held her hands in his own, gave her a slight smile, seemed quieter than before. At first they had been much more awkward, both. Her subsequent movements surprised him, he left that came near enough and did not stop her. He didn't think that she would have ever kissed him, actually, he did not expect it at that time but returned equally, closing his eyes too.
Lydia opened the doors and allowed the two of them to walk in. The bedroom was huge. There was a king sized bed in the middle the walls were made from glass. After all, they would live in the middle of woods. It’s not like anyone would ever see them. Maybe she wanted for him to see the dress so he could give out his opinion or maybe she just wanted to brag with the dress. She was Lydia Martin, after all. Lydia allowed him to sit down before she walked to their closet. “Don’t look.” she chuckled before she took the dress out. She didn’t tell him not to look because she had to take her clothes off. They would have to see each other naked one day anyway. She said it so she could just show him the dress as a surprise. She took her simple home dress off before she carefully put on the weddings dress. She took a look in the mirror before she turned to him. “You can look now.” she said.
Isaac followed her into the bedroom, it was clearly meant for a couple. As they would have been soon. Them it would be soon. He looked around, curious, before shifting his attention back on her. She had brought him here to show him the wedding dress and he suspected would have to wait a bit. Meanwhile, as soon as she gave him permission, he sat on the bed and waited. He saw her amused and he smiled, «I do not watch, I promise.» and, to let her know that it was really so, also closed his eyes, just waiting to see the dress. He did not know when he could open his eyes but imagined that she would have said him when to do and waited for a signal or a phrase. It didn't wait to come and he immediately opened his eyes to see her with the dress I wear. He stayed to observe, almost enchanted, for a moment, and he forced himself to close his mouth. «You're... beautiful.»

«I don't think I have ever met one before now.»
when you’re in love, no matter what happens, you forgive each other.
Fisicamente, intendo. » Sorrise, a quella proposta.
❝ I can’t speak from experience, Isaac.❞
She ran a hand through her hair, and sighed.
❝ I’m a trickster, not a hunter. ❞
«Trickster?» he never had heard such a definition.
She knew that since they were forced into this, they both had to get to know each other better. She was actually very happy that he put some interest in her topic. Her life in general. “Well my grandma used to cook a lot and I always watched her. Most of it I got from her but since she passed away, I learn on my own.” she smiled, kicking her legs a bit as she sat on the counter. “I’m guessing you don’t know how to cook?” she chuckled. She wouldn’t mind though, she also wanted to be a useful wife. She just hoped they would actually like each other and they would just act like an ordinary couple. “Do you want to see my weddig dress? I wanna hear if you like it or not.” she nodded before she quickly jumped down and took his hand again, leading him upstairs to their bedroom.
Isaac was really curious and listened carefully to which she said, it was a good start to can know her and he was not able to think of anything else to try to establish some sort of relationship before. Found themselves in a strange situation and trying to manage it better. He smiled, a bit awkward, he was not able to cook unlike her, «Not at all, I never learned to cook anything.» he answered. Her next sentence surprised him, he did not know if he could see it or not but nodded, he was sure she would be equally beautiful. «Sure, let's see it.» agreed and shook her hand, following her as they climbed the stairs to climb upstairs. He stopped only when they reached the hallway and waited until she had indicate which room to go.
Lydia looked around the beautiful room before she looked back at Isaac. “I don’t want you to be bored around here so at least I can do is to bring a television.” she chuckled and leaded him to the kitchen, her fingers locked with his as they still held their hands. She actually felt like they were a couple searching their new house. Lydia sat up on the counter and looked around. “This is where we get to eat. I know how to cook, by the way.” she giggled and shrugged her shoulders. It was something she loved doing, among the other things. She loved reading, learning, cooking. Those were her main loves. But her main one should probably be Isaac. She knew she had to grow to love him. She probably would, it would be easier for both of them.
Isaac wasn't able to cook, but like everyone he could eat. He observed her sitting on the counter, the idea that someone would cook for him, someone who was not family, was unusual but would also accustomed to this. «And how did you learn?» he asked, curious to talk about it or know her, they had to marry, and he realized how little he knew of Lydia Martin. No one would ever expect that the redhead was also able to cook, or even that she loved doing it. It was new to him and he was curious to know if there were other things he could know. They had little time before the wedding and start talking would help to make everything easier.
❝ Then you get rid of him. I don’t blame you if you can’t, but ghosts aren’t good people. They aren’t even people. They’re what’s left of a person, and eventually they h u r t someone. ❞
«No, I think ... I can try, really. If it would help and would also help someone else, I can give it a try. It would be good for him not to be here, right?» the young wolf seemed to need a positive confirmation.
