Description: you and tech repair the control panel but you can't help but feel a bit useless. Hurt/comfort, angst, fluff, established relationship, tech being his natural nerdy self

"So.... wait run that by me again i just don't wanna mess this up" you say rubbing the back of your neck awkwardly

"Its quite alright but if you wouldn't mind Mesh'la i'd like to get this done before our next mission and i still have a long way to go.." he says

"Ah...point taken" you say sadly as you stand up "sorry i'm not as smart as you tech." You say walking off

"Kriff... Wait!" he says rushing after you

You wipe your eyes as his grip on your arm spins you to look into his concerned eyes

"My love whats wrong, if it is something i said that offended you i can assure you that was not my intention-" he started

You shake your head "i just wanted to help I'm sorry I'm not smart enough to do that" you say

"What do you mean? I simply stated you should let me finish what i had to finish" he says

"Its not what you said tech its the way you said it, it sounded like you didn't want me around because i was slowing you down.." you say looking at him as his gaze softened

"I'm sorry.. i wasn't aware thats how it came off.." he said adjusting his goggles

"No its me not you" you sigh " i just feel like i don't deserve you, you should be with someone who is on your level or who can challenge your thinking not someone like me" you say looking down at your feet

"Mesh'la.. i love you the way you are, i wouldn't trade you for the galaxy.. and you are brilliant my love even if it is in your own way, your questions challenge me to remember and retain all the knowledge i already know and give me things to research when i don't" he says lifting your chin and looking into your eyes

"That might be the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me" you say pulling him into a loving hug

You look up at him and kiss him softly he reciprocates quickly placing his gloved hands on your cheeks deepening the kiss

"I love you" you say resting your head on his shoulder

"I love you too" he says holding you close

"Come back in here ask me as many questions as you please love, i like the company." He says smiling at you and walking into the cockpit
