Summit Street and Court Street, Bowling Green, OH by Warren LeMay
Via Flickr:
Built in the late 19th Century, this Queen Anne-style house features ornate trim at the roofline with a Gothic Revival motif, shingle cladding, a circular corner tower, ornate pilasters and columns, brackets, prow windows, one-over-one double-hung windows, a balcony above the front porch with a stick-and-ball railing and semi-circular footprint, front porch with large columns and brackets with Art Nouveau detailing, a rusticated stone base and tower, oxeye windows at the top of the tower, bracketed eaves at the porch, stone railings at the porch, a two-story front bay window, a three-story side bay window clad in rusticated stone with oxeye windows at the top, a prow oriel window on the side, a rear porch at the corner of the house with decorative columns and brackets matching the front porch, and a hipped roof with multiple gables. The house, despite being one of the best examples of late 19th Century eclecticism in Ohio, is not listed on the National Register of Historic Places in either a district or individually, and very little information can be gathered about the house’s history at present.

Aerial Sheep Flow
I may never get tired of drone videos of sheep herding. They are mesmerizing to watch and full of so many characteristics of flow. Like a compressible fluid, the herd squeezes together as it passes through a gate, then spreads and decreases density as it reaches the pasture. (Video credit: L. Patel; via Colossal; submitted by Florian T. and Matevz D.) Read the full article
