Are the affini always so much taller than humans? An OC of someone I knew a while back was also a plant girl, but she was really freaking smol and I'm not sure if she would count. Mostly because her face was all flowers and such instead of a wood mask. How can I figure this out?

long story short, if you want your character to be an affini and the character fits into the lore of what an affini is, then they're an affini!!

I don't think I've ever needed anything more than becoming a floret. what do you mean pretty plant people will adopt me, take care of me, adore me, and do everything in my best interest even if I'm shy about it?? uhh yes please! I just need to let some affini know I'm available. is there like an emergency protocol or do I just have to volunteer and wait? B

there are many ways to become a floret!!! the easiest one is probably just to tell an affini (yes, any affini!! if they aren't the right fit they'll help you find someone else!!) you want to be one, but you could also go to a domestication center or find some other way to get an affini's attention!!!

you'll be so much happier as a floret!! I know I am!!! :::)

anyone can be a floret as long as it's in their best interest!! if the affini ever found a sophont who would genuinely be happier as an independent, then they would stay independent!!! it doesn't really matter who you are otherwise, especially since the affini will help you discover a truer version of yourself anyways!!
