OOC: Sorry for my absence as of late ...
I have a killer stomach flu that is just not making it easy to write. So I'll be back in a few days once I start feeling better.
Reblog if you RP in more than one fandom.
I’m trying to prove a point to some asshole, so, please reblog this if you do, in fact, RP in more than one fandom.
OOC: All replies out...
And we're good to go. Okay, so, yeah. I'm going to be off and on today. So if you need me/Vril, hit up my ask box!
First Contact | Kara and Vril | -Closed-
He was still as he stood on the roof of the municipal building in Metropolis. He’d not been very active so far during his time on Earth. Choosing to observe, rather than interact, of course the breather mask he has on would raise flags coupled with his own Mysophobia it was the best option thus far. Though he knew that this was going to have to come to and end at some point.
This point was coming, if she’d picked up on it that was, hopefully right for him. The small black amorphous orb was sending its signal to him. A small beep that resounds in his mind as he steers it back towards himself. The small strips of red that travel above his temples lights up a bright luminescent red.
Vril as he was going by now, had chosen to go with the younger of the surviving House of El due to her more … open minded approach to civilization. This girl knew her world, knew what she was missing, knew that her family was, and still is missing and possibly alive. Things that Vril had a few answers to, definitive answers at that. So he was being manipulative, it was still his prime directive to protect Krypton, and that meant the House of El. So he would do everything in his power to sway them into his protection, into Kandor.
To imagine home as it was before was to stare through a glass wall. She often imagined placing her palm against the cold pane while watching her mother and father live their lives without her. It was a bleak feeling to know that her home was not torn asunder. Even worse—it was ripped from he very soil and whisked away… had her father waited any longer, she’d still be with family. Imprisoned with family.
Kara found herself sky-watching from a different skyscraper in Metropolis each day. Teardrops fell from her eyes, plummeting into some poor soul’s head below. Sirens blared and people screamed almost every week, and her honor-bound cousin was a streak of red light between the buildings. “Watch and learn,” he’d say. But she never paid attention: she spent her time high above contemplating her future. Everyday, she was only reminded about how taken care of the humans were, without her help. If she could, would she give up her new home on Earth to live in a bottle with her city? Could she trade one bittersweet feeling for another?
Her questions crashed upon her head, forcing her to watch the walking pedestrians below. Suddenly, her view was obscured by her blonde locks, blown to the side by the black orb that whizzed by her face, just a few inches short her her nose. Every fiber in her bone implored her to give chase.
She lept from her spot atop the building and pursued the orb a few miles into the city before she saw…him. The Collector. Here. On Earth. Impossible. Kal would have known already, he would have warned her…! Her blood boiled with fear for her new home, but it was electrified by the truth that his green tinted skin carried. Her family rested beneath his fingers… Even as she quietly landed behind him, she didn’t know how to proceed…
Brainiac had not stopped or warned of the impending attack on Kandor. He had only watched. In fact, that was how he had survived. Kandor's computer systems held in them a version of him that was free from Kryptonian control. They had not known this, but he was with them, protecting them.
The Brainiac on Krypton perished with his people. This one was different. Vril Dox, the collector, the last of the people from Vox-Colu had not expected his attack. He'd invaded the skull ship's computers quickly and viciously stalling the ship, looking for a way to get Kandor to it's natural size and on an inhabitable planet. It had failed. But that didn't mean it would quit working on a solution to that problem. He was forced to take Vril Dox's mind, he needed a body, a means in which he could interact with people freely.
Though his first act was destroying Vox-Colu. He saw them as a threat, they had attacked Krypton and for a time he had gone under the guise of Vril Dox. Until he had found a means in which to strike back for attacking his homeworld. Igniting its core was the easy part. Doing so without the knowledge of the people, 'in charge of him' was not. So he went by Vril Dox, and began collecting dying civilizations to preserve them forever.
Then the universe lit up with news. A lone Kryptonian had survived. One being, a boy, now a man protector of Sol. He was amazed. And it took him a good deal of thought upon how to approach him. Then, from Apokolips came word of another survivor, Kara Zor-El. Brainiac had worked with the house of El on many occasions, and he had seen her before, as a child with her father.
And so he sought her out first, to cull her back into his protection, into Kandor with her family. He would have the last remaining Kryptonians. Even if he had to pry this city from the ground with his ship.

She was working through something. Her eyes had a very inquisitive look to them, not the kind that he’d normally be too guarded about though. But when it came to the news, this human news, he’d prefer that his true visage not be spread like wild fire along their primitive but impressive intranet.
Her grip was impressive, both soft and firm, belying a serious tone that put through a, ‘I can take care of myself’ vibe. Respecting that upon the release of her hand he actually takes a small step back and nods.
”It’s a pleasure to meet you, miss Lane, and that would be … quite nice actually,” he laughs, trying to be warm, trying to be human, “now that I think on it.”
If he’d known her better, he’d be warned the present look in her eyes was known to be a bit… dangerous. If you had anything to hide, at least. But surely a humble man like himself was perfectly safe on the receiving end of one of her looks…
Lois returned his reply with a smile of her own, getting to her feet and gathering her purse.
"There’s a Coffee Bean just downstairs. C’mon, I’m buying." She lead him towards the elevators, adjusting the strap of her purse on her shoulder and casting another glance at him. "Are you from around here, Dr. Fine?"
"Oh me? No no, England actually, I hold post at a small wing of Oxford devoted to Xenobiology." He smiles, not entirely untrue, given he was a specialist in his own right on the subject. Flashing a warm smile he moves along with her toward the elevators, and looks at the design on the doors.
He felt that possible danger in that look. He'd been researching her. Well not extensively but he knew she was smart, he liked that about her.
Taking in a deep breath he turns to her, "You know, I've never been to a Coffee Bean ... don't think I've ever actually had coffee before either. Always been a tea or water person for the most part."

There were multiple life forms here, at least three, possibly more. Interesting, he’d only picked up on the one, but then again he only had the energy signature of on Dru-Zod. Having a small fraction of Krypton’s history with him via Kandor helped that. He’d left his Skull ship at a reachable distance, one that he could get back to or call upon it if needed. But not a distance where one could readily see it. It’s size would have been noticeable in the Terran sky, and that was unacceptable.
The skiff slows in its pursuit of the black orb, acting as sentry it stops just short of the base, scanning it for anything that Vril Dox can use to his advantage. The last Coluan. Brainiac was in search for the super powered remnants of Krypton. And as the image of Zod’s face appears in flickering green hologram on his instruments he grins, and whispers into the enclosed space, “I will evolve perfection … and your race will help me do it, Zod.”
He is not a stupid or ignorant man, Dru-Zod has been through the Academy, cycles of history lectures may have gotten buried under military arms, strategy and combat techniques but its still in his head. He recognizes the build of the device, a name isn’t coming to mind but he remembers the race behind the development of this orb is highly advanced. And that translates to deadly as far as he is concerned.
Earth’s yellow sun reflects across the surface of the black metal and he looks to stars, it isn’t alone. His attention snaps from the orb to the vastness of space, something sent it here. Zod walks to orb, carbine at his side ready to fire if need be, he takes a stance of authority.
"To whoever is in charge of the drone, I ask you appear before me now. Or you will be met with force. I don’t take kindly to spies and cowards."
Vox-Colu was dead. His planet of origin had been dead for some time now. They'd created him to fight the insurrection, the uprising of the poor against the rich. He'd done so. And for a time he'd been sated. But he wanted more power. They allowed him a ship, and a means in which to seek more power. To protect them as a people. Vo-Colu should never have given him that means. Because when he was done with them, the world was nothing but floating cinder.
He'd captured a few cities with his own technology. Kandor being one of them. But Kryptonians at that time proved to be nothing more than barely useful pets to him. Like fish in a tank.
The metal shifts as a voice, stilted in its use of the language comes from it. Taking one almost strange wavelength patterns, before the Kryptonian Vril weaves his message, "I come not to seek violence. But perhaps an accord. My name is Vril Dox, and I wish to speak to the one in charge."
He'd been called many things but never a coward. He would mark that one down to remember for later.

”In a sense yes, I suppose it is a trophy.” He’d never thought of it that way. It was all a bit too … sentimental for him really to think of Vril’s body in such a way. But yes it was a trophy. A trophy with a price, but a trophy nonetheless. This skinless human had a valid point there. How interesting. Her grin was endearing actually, despite the blood trail it was endearing.
”I was a computer, in a sentient manner I still am, Vril Dox had bio-technological implants in his mind that allowed me to invade it, and … erase him. So part of me is … controlling his body via these implants, I’m … it’s rather complicated actually.” He’d never had to explain it to anyone before. That was rather disturbing. How complicated it was to explain that he’d wiped this being’s mind clean, except for a few fragments he couldn’t tear loose and then spread the implants around, making his brain almost completely cybernetic so he could control the body, make it his own.
”Don’t you dare apologize, I enjoy inquisitiveness, curiosity and excitement are to be valued not shunned.” He waves a hand in dismissal of the idea she was bothering him with these questions. “No rudeness, at least not yet.”
"I’m sure the more technical aspects would go right over my head." Cynara swipes her hand over her covered skull for emphasis. "I know how to dismantle a car engine, that’s about it." Her smile dies while her eyes widen to the point where they look like they’d fall out of her skull. "My god, it’s like a marionette, then, isn’t it? A meat puppet."
She directs her eyes off to the side and compresses her raw lips together. In theory, someone could replicate that and take the one thing she had left: her autonomy. The chance remained minimal, but now a new realm of possibilities open for Cynara’s nightmares. She flinches. "Well… That little gawk was rude of me.” Her arms fold across her chest, and she bows her head. “That… was not directed at you. Or your state of being. I applied the idea to something else.” Her throat twitched, each tendon rippling her extensive neck wrappings. “As for questions - How long have you been here on Earth?”
She was technically right. He was controlling a body, that was not his, keeping its vitals going through electrical stimuli to its nerves and the multiple lobes of its brain. All except for certain parts of the temporal lobe that deal with short term and long term memory. Favoring his own data storage for his memory as opposed to the lesser and more jumbled organic storage of Vril Dox's brain.
It still sent a slight pang of pain in him, indignation perhaps? He wasn't sure. That he was nothing but a puppeteer, and truly he wasn't anything more than that. He was a involuntary house guest of sorts. Unwanted and certainly not welcome. Vril had made that very clear before his mind was wiped clean.
"I can't just to that to anyone. His brain and body are littered with bio-tech, hard drives to store the functions of what these machines added, did, how they ran, what they added." He doesn't bother to look at her, instead he turn away to look out over the city around them. "He gave me a door, his brain was connected to his computers, and I jumped easily from them to him. So your fears, your nightmares of having your free will taken away, of being supplanted by myself or another upon this backwater technologically behind mud ball are illogical ... so do not fear, you get to keep yourself intact."
He'd been a bit harsh. He knew it. But that comment had cut him to the quick, deep and made him realize he's still just a computer playing a simulator. "To answer your question, not long, though I've studied it for some time before setting foot upon it."
okay seriously reblog if you're older than 12
COME ON PEOPLE, THERE HAS GOT TO BE MORE.
I am twice that age plus one!
He glimpses the markings on her back, still intensely interested in them he moves slowly. A somewhat hesitant and shaky hand reaches out to trail along her soft pale skin. Feeling the goosepimpled way its formed under the pads of his fingers he has the urge to kiss this rounded curve of skin that denotes the end of her rib cage. Surprised at how soft, yet firm she is he takes a moment to think on that, “Magnificent … perfection …”
The word keys off that motto of the original Vril Dox, and it makes him shiver, his violet eyes close before kissing again. Letting his hand sweep along her bare abdomen. Going purely upon seeming animal instinct.
She takes a deep breath and shifts her position as her fingertips caress over his suit. She tilts her head wondering if her body could touch his bare skin and body. She smiles wondering if she can separate her desires and pleasures from his thoughts…
That is what these high touch sensual experiences cause - clouded judgement because it feels so good. Eden caresses his face once again. “I am going to call you Dr. B. That will be your nickname.” She smooths over his bumpy head kissing it not realizing her breasts fell into his face.
There was a tickle of her thoughts in his mind. Just this small bit of wonder that has him grinning as he kisses up her side. The skin was so soft under his lips before a shiver runs through him at her hand on his head. Feeling the head of her breasts upon his face he tilts his head up to kiss the valley of skin between them. Grinning as he reaches back to take her hand and move it to the zipper like object at the back of his neck.
'Go on.' Was all he could think, just a little reassurance that she was more than welcome to explore him as he was exploring her. Her slight rambling makes him laugh, 'Dr. B? Strange term my white haired lady.' Projecting his voice into her head quietly he runs his other hand up into that platinum hair, the other dips down along her hip, the register of a beautiful heat not far from the butt of his palm has him wanting to run his fingers down between her legs to further explore that alluring heat for himself.

Meeting someone familiar|| Kara and Brainiac
The farm looked rather beautiful at dusk and dawn but tonight, when the stars were shining bright over Kara’s head, she felt almost happy. It had been some time since the young hero had taken time out to come and see Ma and Pa because she wasn’t as close to the elderly couple as Kal and Conner where, but the never treated her any different and that made Kara happy. The couple had fallen asleep right after supper so Kara had decided that she would walk to the farthest field and do some star gazing till she was ready to go to bed. She slipped out of her uniform and pulled a Superman t-shirt over her head with jeans and tennis shoes.
The wheat was just starting to ripen and become ready for harvest as Kara ran her hand across the tuffs on the top. The golden grain felt like silk running over the girls soft skin and the fireflies were just starting to dance in front of her. After walking for a few miles, she stopped at the willow tree that Conner and her often would go when they needed to talk. She missed spending time with her cousin and sitting in the warm summer air, Kara made a pack that she would start spending more time with her Kryptonian family.
Just as the girl was about to doze, she heard a noise in the distance. Zooming in with her telescopic vision, she noticed someone in the distance walking towards her but she wasn’t sure who the person was. There had been so much going on recently that Kara became defensive and waited for the stranger to make their way to her. Of course just like any other time, Supergirl was ready to defend her family, no matter what it took.
Why had he chose her to approach first? He'd asked himself that when he'd been transported to Earth in that flash of fragmented green light. Standing in the middle of a forest in some place he referred to as, "Kann-sass." This whole world confused him. The way its crime was skyrocketing and its way or relying on suited vigilante's instead of its militaristic police and armies. Then again War raged healthily upon this planet. Brainiac had seen a lot of war in his time traversing the cosmos. Seeking out knowledge and finding dying civilizations to preserve and learn from.
But none of these worlds, these people actually reminded him of Krypton more than this planet did. The strip mining, the weapons of mass destruction, the explorations into space, the plans on colonizing neighboring planets. The war. There were even a few that reminded him of Zod. But why had he chosen her? Because she was alone? Isolated? No, so why her?
Because like he did, she knew Krypton. She knew her family. Missed them. He'd been watching her, watching the Superman. Those orbs had infiltrated their lives, a new clock, or paperweight, watching, studying. And so far as he could see, she had the more open mind. He just had to take this slowly so as to not overwhelm her. To not instigate a fight.
Walking through this field he takes a small breath in. The air here was sweet, and cold with a damp sheen. The ground soft in under his form fitting boot. And knowing she could probably hear him, he muses about the wheat he'd seen earlier, "You know I've seen fields of purple, of red, even orange, but never of such a pleasant gold. Its odd how this planet contrasts against its inhabitants. Violent and despotic people against a beautiful and serene backdrop ... so ... unimaginable."
OOC: Annd my stomach just cramped up ...
I thought I was over this food poisoning bs! Anyway, I'm going to call it an early night, make sure I don't get worse, everyone's in drafts, which will be my first priority in the morning!
”I know of them yes.” He nods once again crooning into her touch. After the gentle kiss he smiles, curling his lips inward to lick them over her flavor. So unique and spiced, it was hard for him to describe. “I would love to meet your child, I didn’t pry into your memories or anything … I found it rude-…”
He stops as he watches her turn, the hook of her dress presented to him, “Of course, Eden.” Nodding he lifts his hands and slowly, with a fair amount of care undoes the clasp to her dress.
She hums along feeling his long fingers remove her halter. She sits up and turns on her back as her chest is bare. She grabs the bottom and removes the rest and she is completely naked. Her skin formed tiny goosepimples all the way down her hairless crotch. She shifts her legs from side to side while staring at him. “You can touch to your fancy,” Softly spoken. She remained silent not ready to discuss her daughter.
He glimpses the markings on her back, still intensely interested in them he moves slowly. A somewhat hesitant and shaky hand reaches out to trail along her soft pale skin. OOC: Gonna run into some slow replies momentarily...
I am working on a personal outline of when/how Brainiac becomes the Superman villain everyone knows and loves to hate.
ABE - Short Film (by OfficialB2TMPage)
OOC: This is very much Brainiac as he becomes more unstable over the course of his many versions. Scary as that may be.

She gently palmed his cheek and kisses him ever so gently and grinned. "You know, I have a daughter. The only one of my progeny to make it through pregnancy that I did not terminate." She looks away. "You know these affairs of biology? Right?"
She turns on her stomach and looks at him. "Can you unclasp my dress around my neck, please."
"I know of them yes." He nods once again crooning into her touch. After the gentle kiss he smiles, curling his lips inward to lick them over her flavor. So unique and spiced, it was hard for him to describe. "I would love to meet your child, I didn't pry into your memories or anything ... I found it rude-..."

She feels the warmth of his lips. They were similar to other sentients who have captured her kisses before or some who have imposed them on her. But his was a desire that he wanted to know more about and that is what scared her. Was he sure he understand the new emotions would do to him. "You must not exceed your parameters of your design or you could...break down." She grabbed his chin with one hand and looked deep into his soft eyes and then backed away. "My maker. Vril...are you a virgin?"
Blinking his mind starts to spread out, his sentience finding the term tucked away in a small bit of odd definition. 'A naive, innocent or inexperienced person... how odd a term.' He doesn't know if she's listening in or not. Wouldn't be surprised if she was but he fit most of that, innocent in some ways he was not. Killing, pain, knowledge, but in this ... "I would ... say that I am, in this case." The way she had hold of his chin was oddly pleasing, but then again he quite liked her touch upon his skin. Her own was so soft, so caring, "Is that a problem?"
